Ian did all my odd jobs vrry nicely : cooker light not working, fitting new outdoor light, installing new doorbell and replacing a pull switch. Would definitely use again

Ian is an outstanding electrician and a genuine and honest person. He has integrity and values his customers immensly. Ian had replaced two very old switchboards in my house and I must say his work is to a v high standard. Always on time, always completing a job never an excuse. Just wish all tradesmen were like Ian. Ian tracked down and fixed a problem after power problems at my father's house following a water leak. V reassuring, good advice and quickly resolved, particularly great as my dad is getting on.

Ian moved a couple of electrical points in the house for us. We have recently had a kitchen fitted and he pointed out a number of mistakes made by the electrician which we will be taking up with the fitters. Ian is very knowledgeable, knows his job and is a very pleasant person to do business with.

We had a problem with one of our electric appliances and needed some advice on how to progress further. Unfortunately, they were not available to carry out the work themselves in the next few days so we had to call someone else. Nevertheless the advice given over the phone was invaluable and helped us to understand the issue better.

Ian has done work for me before, so I had no hesitation in seeking his help when my lounge storage heater failed. As always, he arrived when promised, diagnosed the fault very quickly and completed the job to my satisfaction. The device was very old, so I was grateful for his help in tracking down a source of suitable spares. I was even more grateful when he took time out on a Friday evening to complete the work. Ian is a really personable, friendly guy, and also a mine of useful information. I would thoroughly recommend.

I chose Ian through which as this site is my preferred site for traders. Ian came & changed 3 sockets & light switch which was done on cost & a brilliant job done as a previous electrician hadn't done the job to my satisfaction. All done and dusted within a hour. I will use Ian again as I trust him.

We 100% recommend Foreman Electrical for the following reasons: Ian visited on 9 July to assess the job & provide a quote. While doing this he noticed that the main fuse from the external power line was hanging from the wall in the cupboard under the stairs. He immediately informed me how dangerous this could potentially be, & called UK Power to fix this. (Uk Power arrived within 15 minutes of Ian leaving). Ian also checked that gas/electric & water metres were bonded. This impressive attention to detail/care for our safety even before agreement regarding work to be done demonstrated to me that this company would be what we were looking for. Ian arrived to fit four double sockets in the upstairs partitioned bedroom on Monday 13 July, & texted to let me know he was on his way. He was mindful of social distancing while remaining friendly, helpful & informative regards what the job entailed & how he intended to accomplish this using best/safest work practices. Ian is very knowledgeable, experienced, good at what he does & is happy to share his knowledge should you ask. He works fast, cleans-up as he goes along, & has a diligent high standard of work. We had verbally agreed a price for the work to be completed & as an added safety net Ian emailed his terms & conditions which included a 14 day cooling off period. He also provided & explained DMP18 Works Certificate. We are absolutely delighted with the completed job & 100% recommend Ian.
