We have used Furnish & Co to build us a media and larder unit in our kitchen and also hand paint our existing kitchen. Neal's attention to detail cannot be faulted during both the design stage and also the installation. Neal and Jack who installed the new unit and Eugene who did the hand painting were fantastic to have in our home; totally considerate and with total commitment to detail. Furnish & Co was recommended by a friend who is an interior designer. We met Neal on site and walked through the requirements (fitted wardrobes, fitted drawers and shelves and a laundry cupboard plus pocket doors to match the victorian doors already in our 1850s property). Neal is lovely. No hard sell, he really listens and absorbs what you're saying before sharing 3D drawings which were super helpful in conveying the impact of the furniture on the rooms (which we had never lived in). He had no issue with making changes to the drawings as the design evolved a bit. He contributes his ideas in a gentle way. As the review title makes clear, we are really pleased with the service throughout and with the final product. The quality of the furniture is top notch. The details on the cabinets are really beautiful. We are now discussing library shelving, more wardrobes and no doubt the shopping list will grow. Yet again, Neal is listening to what we would like and making helpful suggestions to come up with something that works for us and the period of the house.

We spent months looking for the perfect Bedroom furniture for our new home with no avail. We knew we wanted a shaker style chest or drawers and bedside tables with soft close drawers and the timeless cornice edges. Nothing we looked came close to our vision until we found Furnish & Co. Neal and his team are excellent, truly excellent. From our initial enquiry, to site survey, design and fitting - everything was seamless and to the highest of standards. We had a few iterations or design until we were both happy, and Neal was incredibly patient with our indecisiveness of colours! It took a few weeks (as expected) for our pieces to be built it was 100% worth the wait. The quality of the furniture is unmatched by anything else in our home. Neal and his team are the best in their game.

Furnish & Co has been the best recommendation I have ever received. Neal far exceeded my expectations; I am still in awe of his craftsmanship. He understood exactly the style of alcove cabinets that I wanted and created the perfect design for the space. I now have the alcove cabinets of my dreams. The quality and perfection of the cabinets is breathtaking. If only everyone paid attention to detail the way Neal does. Neal and his team kept in regular touch as the project progressed. They responded to all my queries and requests quickly and efficiently. The designs, quotes and company literature were all very clear and professionally presented. When I asked where I could view a selection of door knobs for the cabinets, Neal ordered in the ones I was interested in and I was invited to his workshop to choose. Nothing was too much trouble. He personally returned to make sure I was 100% happy with the installation after the cabinets had been hand painted having ensured the whole process from beginning to end was as stress free as possible for me. Neal is a true gentleman, a master craftsman who delivers on his promises and is a genuinely nice guy. What more could you ask for.

Very pleased with Neal and his team. The prep work leading up to installation was excellent. We were kept well informed throughout. Neal invited us to see his workshop which was interesting and appreciated by us. Neal and his team arrived on site on time. They were remarkably tidy and left the bedrooms tidier than they found them! The quality of their work was excellent. Neal and his team cleverly fitted our wardrobes snugly into oddly shaped alcoves and old, imperfect walls, which was a feat in itself. After being let down on numerous occasions for fitted wardrobes in our old style cottage, Neal was recommended to us by a good friend. When we met Neal, he informed us that he wanted to make the experience of having our new wardrobes designed and fitted as 'pleasurable as possible'. Neal has absolutely stood by his word. We have never enjoyed so much Neal (and his team) coming to work in our home. Neal made the whole process a wonderful experience. He never said 'no' he always came back with suggestions and guidance, which we followed and appreciated. We had downsized from 5 bedrooms to a new build with vaulted ceiling’s and no loft space. Having moved into a new build with no inbuilt storage and with two attic rooms, Neal measured up and provided plans for bespoke storage using a bifold door system to give easy access to those awkward to reach places. The plans were excellent with Neal taking account of all my requirements. I had the opportunity to change any of the design but this was not needed. I was given choices on the finished look and found Neal's suggestions invaluable. The aesthetics fitted perfectly with the new house and the quality of the materials and craftmanship was exceptional. I was absolutely delighted with the finished product. Neal completed the work to schedule and left the room ready for use.

I had long wanted to reinstate a pair of bi-fold doors that had been ripped out when the original reception room was sub-divided into two smaller rooms, so I was very pleased to have found Neal Lewer of Furnish & Co. The initial confidence that I felt when we first spoke about the project was not misplaced: Neal studied the brief closely and it was reassuring that he questioned aspects of it and the visual references supplied to ensure that there was no misunderstanding the intended design or execution. Not only did Neal show great attention to detail, he also took the time and trouble to explain why things were done in a certain way and made sure that I understood the process. The pride that he takes in his work is obvious, as is his perfectionism. One incident stands out: having spent the best part of a day installing the doors, we noticed that the beading did not quite match those on the adjacent, original doors in the room! The new doors were removed and returned to the workshop; new cutters made and the beading retooled. And all without drama. It has been a great pleasure working with Neal and his team, and I have no hesitation in commissioning future work from him.

This is the second time we have used the company. We were very happy with the wardrobes Neal put in first. The under stairs storage Neal put in was a tricky job involving cupboards and drawers on two fronts. Neal was very helpful in discussion at the design stage and It was a precision job excellently executed. We are very happy customers.

Neil from Furnish & Co is a master-carpenter, a master-craftsman. He offered a trusted-trader masterclass in designing and delivering our fitted bedroom wardrobes. We had a concept idea of what we wanted. Neil was able, through his skill experience, to coach and coax preferred detailing from us. Neil offered a range of woods, veneers, paints and finishes. We started off getting to know Neal and how he works, we had no plan as to design or wood so after a few meetings we knew Neal was ready to start on our projects. Little did we know/envisage that when the 2 sideboards and a pod for between our chairs were delivered the satisfaction and appreciation we felt for all the hours of planning, craftsmanship & expertise that had been invested in the pieces. Dealing with Neal and Helen at Furnish & Co has been a pleasure from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and they actually called me to advise that they would be a day late in starting as they were waiting for some doors to arrive. We were amazed at the quality of workmanship on some remakes of old warped kitchen doors and drawer fronts. we have since had some doors that needed remoulding, what a great service, we were kept informed of time scale, cost, materials used ect, Very happy with every aspect of these jobs completed.

We have been really pleased with Neal’s craftsmanship. He previously Made a dressing room for us, so we didn’t hesitate to ask him to do more work for us. He has an eye for detail & seems to understand exactly what we want. He has a good team of electricians, plumbers & painters. From initial contact with Helen and then Neal the whole experience was impeccable. I wanted some fitted wardrobes and had had visits from 3 of the large chains with various degrees of interest or hard sell from the salespersons. I commissioned Neal at Furnish & Co to make a large bespoke coffee table for my son, who had just moved into his first property. This table was based on a coffee table I owned. The end result was more than we could ever have hoped for... This table was truly a work of art, my son and I were 'blown away' by the attention to detail, which was wholly impressive and the dedication that was instilled in this table, one could tell,was made with love. I was so impressed by this table I asked Neal to make me three bookcases. Two for my living room and one for my bedroom, yet again, I was overwhelmed by the look of the bookcases, the work that has gone into making them and the beauty of the bookcases, they fitted into their respective places and looked incredible... The furniture that Neal and his team make could NEVER ever be bettered. That not withstanding, Neal and his team were patient when taking these commissions and made quite a few visits to make sure they were getting everything right. This is the second time Neal has delivered a great result for us. Following on from fitting wardrobes, Neal designed and fitted two floating-style bedside cabinets in the same room which complemented their style and colour. Brilliant, helpful advice and contact throughout. Neal was able to shape the cabinets supports so that they fitted around our skirting boards beautifully.
