GR Landscapes are a local business, a major installer of driveways, patios and landscape projects in the Bearsden, Milngavie and Greater Glasgow areas since our formation in 1985. We are a privately owned business and unlike many companies we do not rely upon commission salesmen and installation squads.
All our installation teams are highly motivated, professional craftsmen and are employed directly by the company. Every project is overseen by the proprietor and managed by our installation team leader. No contract is too big or too small and, when required, we can use our heavy plant machinery which ensures a fast, efficient and professional installation.

Sandy, Peter and Jack did an exceptional job with my hard landscaping. It was a complicated job as the garden slopes, and there are a number of manholes, but nothing was too much bother for them. They worked closely with me throughout to ensure I was happy as things progressed. They were extremely professional, diligent, and client focused. They worked full time on my job and spent time at the end to ensure everything was finished perfectly rather than rushing to the next job. They worked seamlessly with planting providers and materials suppliers to ensure everything progressed without delay. There were no surprise additional costs. A highly experienced team and a pleasure to work with .

Sandy, Peter and Jack did a great job by transforming narrow tarmac driveway and overgrown garden into a light modern drive finished off with contrasting edging and decorative stones. Sandy was there each day to oversee the work and offer advice. Work was completed within agreed timescale. Very pleased with the result.

Sandy and his team have excelled in producing a quality job with great attention to detail based on many years of experience. From start to finish we were told exactly what to expect from the products which were used and the finished job has already had many admirers. The current job was based on a relatively small front garden area which included areas of mono blocking and artificial grass. I will shortly be looking for a contractor to install a new monoblock driveway to compliment the works completed so far, so I think it will be safe to say that I will go no further than GR Landscapes, next time.

We'd seen Sandy and his team at work along the road and having been given his name by the architect we used for work to our house asked for a quote. Friendly knowledgeable and helpful before we'd agreed a price. Never too much trouble to discuss. His team were first-rate, worked hard and finished much faster than we expected. Crucially, Sandy and the team, came when they said they would, finished when they said they would and charged what they said they would. The driveway and paths are fantastic. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Having been impressed by local examples of their work and then meeting with Sandy, it was an easy decision to employ GR Landscapes to transform our driveway. We have absolutely no regrets on so doing. As befits a company of their standing, there is no hard sell but lots of patient discussions to ensure an outcome suitable to both sides, all of this backed up by a wealth of practical experience and an impressive portfolio of successful projects. We appreciated Sandy being on-site every day, keeping us abreast of all that was happening and responding to any questions we had. Peter and Jack are both very professional, personable and approachable and take obvious pride in what they do. Everything was done with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of consideration and the various challenges presented by an older property such as ours were dealt with calmly and caringly. We are delighted with a driveway which has exceeded our expectations and has no hesitation in giving this recommendation.

Sandy and his team recently completed redesign of our front garden and driveways. This was a major piece of work to widen drive for 2 cars and needed significant amount of material to be removed due to slope on garden. Sandy was on site each day throughout the design and build so any decisions on details as they arose could easily be discussed with us and quickly progressed by him and his excellent team. It would be no exaggeration to say that Sandy, Peter and Jack did an absolutely fantastic job in installing our new driveway. This was a much tougher job than was first anticipated yet the job was tackled with the utmost professionalism and good humour. Sandy was onsite throughout the whole process to oversee all works, discuss and resolve any unforeseen problems of which we had a few. We cannot recommend GR Landscapes highly enough, they were an absolute pleasure to work with completed the job to a very high standard.

New driveway and steps
Sandy and his team have just completed installing a new driveway and creating a set of steps up to my front door. The work was not without its challenges as on excavation a cracked sewer pipe was discovered and there were several tree roots to remove. The team took all this in their stride, fitted a new pipe and tested it all before progressing with the work. Sandy was on site every day to discuss any issues and coordinate the deliveries of supplies. Peter, Jack and Daryl were very hard working and nothing was too much trouble. They tidied all their tools away at the end of each working day. The design of the steps complimented the driveway and I have had several people admiring the finished job. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Sandy and his team terraced our steeply sloping garden, and block paved it, giving us also and attractinve planting area. The paved the pathway from the garden and into the driveway. Our driveway had sunk in places, and had a rash of drain covers over it. These have all been disguised by the block work covers, so have almost disappeared. They worked so hard, and went to pains to realise our designs, leaving us with a garden that will be a delight when the sun returns in the spring, and a driveway, that as well as looking good, we can use too. At all times they were friendly and helpful. Sandy was with us every day overseeing the work. They were all great, and we cannot reccomend them highly enough.

Sandy was first on site every day keeping us informed of deliveries and progress. They mono blocked our front drive - this has been much admired by neighbours and passers by and paved a patio in our back garden. They were helpful with suggestions and happy to accommodate any requests we had. They worked as a team with an obvious pride in their work and they were a pleasure to have on site. I have no problem recommending them highly - a job well done!

I cannot praise Sandy and his team highly enough. Our large and overgrown driveway was removed on day one using a combination of digger,dumper truck and a lot of hard manual labour; a chunk of lawn was removed and a path removed and turfed over. After a seemingly immense quantity of hardcore and sand had been consolidated they laid a beautifully paved driveway which has been attracting admiring comments from neighbours and passers by. Sandy was on site everyday and kept us informed, made helpful suggestions and took account of our preferences. Despite unforeseen difficulties with our unusual manhole arrangement Sandy stuck to his price and finished on time. Peter, Jack and Darryl have been with Sandy for many years and have a great working relationship. The lads were polite, helpful, respectful, extremely hard working and professional; what more can we say except very many thanks to all at G.R. Landscapes.

Sandy provided an excellent service in transforming a driveway desperately in need of a make over. Previously,the driveway was flooding and had become an eyesore. The Tobermore Shannon design is uplifting and has created a safer walking surface and allows good vehicle parking. I had my drive way monoblocked. Don't normally like monoblock but after Sandy from GR showed me some of their previous work, I changed my mind. I'd highly recommended this company. They came when they said they'd be here. They were very pleasant and efficient. I'm very happy with the job. Open communication all the way and a reasonable price.

This firm made an excellent job of relying my driveway with modern paving blocks. I aslo feel assured that it is built to last.
