From a phone call at 8.30 am for a non routine problem to testing and sorting the problem by 12.30 whilst I ambled off for a haircut. Brilliant. Price was reasonable. Full explanation prior to the work being done and quote provided. I got a phone call around 12 and thought uh oh what else have they found, only to be told all done and ready to pick up. Old parts kept and shown to me - problem described and what work had been done explained. Some additional checks done at no extra cost. So good I brought me second car in next day to get new tyres as their quote was as good as anything else I had been able to find.

My van has pretty much been in and out of Gary workshop for the last year with various problems due to high mileage and age. Gary has always been very quick to fit me in around my busy work schedule and always finds and fixes the problem/ problems promptly. Gary and his team are all very welcoming and very professional as they are a small family business.

Gary has carried out a number of jobs for me including MOTs and Services and I really trust his judgement. Most recently I used Gary as I had bought a new car that was under warranty. I asked Gary to take a look at it and see if there was anything wrong with it that the showroom should have sorted under warranty. He identified an issue with the wheel bearings and even called the showroom to explain this should have been fixed before I purchased the car. The showroom then did the work saving me money.

Yesterday Gary Pinkard replaced a wheel bearing, the service was very quick and the price was fair. About 6 months ago he replaced a turbocharger for me. A couple of months later the turbo broke down. The unit was faulty. Gary replaced it, no argument, just an apology and new turbo completely free of charge. Gary and his son know what they're doing and I've always found them very reliable. Their prices are good (I have checked now and then). I trust that garage and it's when things go wrong that you appreciate what that's worth. 100% recommended

I had a problem with my vehicle which two Mecanic's couldn't find and said it would be ok to drive, not trusting the outcome I asked Gary to take a look and he went out of his way to get me a slot and found the problem straight away. He then proceeded to fix the vehicle within a day or two when parts had arrived and even saved the damaged/worn parts to show me exactly what had gone wrong and having looked at the parts it was clear had it not been repaired when it was It would of ended up wrecking my engine. Gary and his team are very polite friendly and very trustworthy, would highly recommend them!
