Somebody cut and stole the copper piping that provides gas to my flat. Upon speaking with Terry, he was immediately concerned for the safety of me and other residents and made some suggestions on how it should be fixed for the future. Terry was also concerned that the thieves might return as soon as it’s replaced. We agreed a time for it to be fixed and he turned up early and immediately got on with the job. Two hours later I had hot water and heating again and Terry completed all of the gas safety checks both inside and outside the flat. Gas Force Limited is a pleasure to deal with. Terry and his colleagues provide a stellar service, are professional and friendly, and provide excellent value. I absolutely recommend them and have told friends and family. I will continue to use them again.

I took out a cover plan for my gas boiler when the manufacture's guarantee expired about a year ago. Recently when the boiler required attention Terry was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and to my surprise turned up the same day with the necessary replacement part. Now in full working order. Many thanks Nick and Terry for your very prompt and efficient same day service.

I acquired my old boiler when I bought my property last year. It eventually broke down and was in a dreadful rusted and dangerous state. Gas Force Ltd were highly recommended by my neighbour. They came and made the old boiler safe and provided some great guidance on purchasing a new, more suitable and efficient option. I was really reassured by their expertise and knowledge, and had them install my boiler shortly afterwards. The engineers were really considerate, polite and friendly and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I will definitely use their services again and have already recommended them to friends.

So not a complicated visit but nowadays a Hive or a Nest can save lots of money given that you can control the on/off switch from afar. The representative, Terry, sized up the possibilities of using such a remote control and at times it was a ‘yes’. Unfortunately, it then became a permanent no because of the installed ( 6 years ago) boiler controls But that was no fault of Gas Force. Very helpful, explained exactly clearly why it was not possible, and left a tidy utility room. Thank you.

My daughter had just moved into a property where the boiler was on its last legs and needed replacing. I did a bit of homework and narrowed it done to 2 local companies who both gave similar quotes for a new Vaillant Eco tec plus 825 boiler. One of those was Gas Force Limited and I personally met Terry and was impressed by his friendly, professional approach.He gave me a good vibe and chose him to do the job. That was a decision I did not regret. On the day he turned up bang on time and soon had they old boiler out. He worked hard throughout the day and into the evening to complete the new boiler and test the radiators. We were impressed with his cheerful, can do manner and the completed job. My daughter is very satisfied with her new boiler and I would not hesitate to use Terry for my own future plumbing jobs. Louse in the office dealt with Vaillant to register the guarantee and gas safe certificates, both certificates were received a few days later. I would highly recommend Terry and Gas Force Limited to anyone.

Terry and Nick were professional from the outset and initial visit to replace and install a new boiler in my flat. On the first visit to assess the works to be done they went above and beyond to make sure I had the best quality solution for my budget and needs, they explained each step of the work and what they also need to do to meet all regulations very clearly… having done my own research I was instantly put at ease. They came back with a competitive price the very next morning and the work was booked in. On the day of installation they were prompt, organised and courteous, evidently knew exactly what they were doing, competing all the work in good time and to a high standard, I’m very pleased with the new boiler and its a weight off my mind. Honest and personable, professional service. I can highly recommend!

Extremely poor experience
Terrible experience. Initially very slow to reply to job request with lengthy delays and lack of replies to text messages requesting visit time/dates. Had taps replaced in both bathrooms and although was promised the work was satisfactory a further visit was necessary within days to fix leaks in both sinks which were not present before the taps were replaced (they also charged for this additional work). Several weeks later both taps have come loose and they are refusing to take ownership of their shoddy workmanship and are aggressively rescinding their responsibility and blaming “inferior” quality materials which were never mentioned before the work started. I will never use this company again and would advise others not to also. I’ve started appropriate action to hopefully prevent anyone else from having to endure a similar experience. Shockingly unprofessional and irresponsible.

This person is not our paying customer. He is a tenant in a property in which we have worked numerous times, where his landlord is our satisfied paying customer. We have texts to prove we have never refused to take ownership of the work, nor have we said we would not return to investigate the tap issue, although the consumer did make our engineer feel extremely uncomfortable. We have taken steps to contact the reviewer's landlord to discuss his unacceptable behaviour. We are awaiting a response from the landlord but in the meantime the reviewer seems to have left a review about a previous issue that was fully completed to the landlord's satisfaction. We are baffled by this outburst from the reviewer and we would suggest he rethink his attitude and behaviour towards tradespeople. We believe we can demonstrate that we acted professionally and diligently in this matter

The engineer arrived on time with a smile. He immediately got to work while being friendly and chatty, he didn't waste any time. What impressed me was his efficiency with a smile. He got straight to work, finished on time, to budge and has very good communication skills. He has worked for me before on larger jobs and he has always had this good work ethic.

I had a carbon monoxide alarm that got triggered, and admit I didn't have the boiler serviced in a while. The gas was disconnected whilst I contacted local firms to check my appliances. I called Gas Force and spoke with Nick. He said he would ring me back to arrange a visit (I had heard this from 2 other firms, and they didn't). True to his word he called, the next day arranged the visit, serviced the boiler, reassured on the safety and invoice as quoted. Efficient service, diligent, friendly, professional. He said to raise if any concerns. Heating back on now, no issues. I would be happy to recommend.

I had had a very nasty experience with a another company who wanted to charge me an exorbitant price, three times what Gas Force have charged us. The first company on examining the problem (a dripping filling pipe to a toilet cistern) made the problem worse, leaving me with water spraying everywhere, which I did not discover until they had left my home as they had shut the valve off. I had to pay them a call out fee for visiting, wanting to charge me a ridiculous price (which I refused) & made the problem worse, in that we were left with a toilet that we could not flush. Nick from Gas Force visited & sorted the problem out very quickly. He has a lovely friendly manner, is professional & did an excellent job. Good honest business.

Had Nick round from Gas Force to quote for a boiler after my 20 year old one packed up for good. I found him down to earth, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. He explained everything very clearly and in detail. Settled on a Worcester Bosch 25 Greenstar and had a competitive quote so went ahead. Nick and his colleague Terry did a great job, worked all day and tidied up too. The new boiler with condensing unit, a filter with new flue and thermostat is amazing and the house is now red hot! Thanks guys.

Gas Force Ltd were already retained by me for the servicing of my boiler etc. When it ceased to work every effort was made to repair it, until it became apparent one initial part was no longer available. A new boiler was essential as a 78 year old lady, on my own and experiencing quite serious health problems. I needed immediate assistance. The guys replaced the boiler within days, promptly and efficiently. Well done.

After using them for my annual boiler service a year ago (which I was happy with) I tried to arrange them for this year. Contacted them via their website form, then both contact telephone numbers left on the sticker on my boiler, then finally the mobile number of the engineer we had last time. No response to any of these, Are they still in business, or maybe they have so much work they don't care?

Our boiler soon became unreliable again after the Gas Force visit. Which? suggested using Which? Local instead but we decided to have the boiler tested by the manufacturer. The engineer found a leak that hadn't been diagnosed and a faulty part we had told had been replaced. It gives us no pleasure to leave bad news but we now have a fully functioning boiler which is a relief. Others have had a better experience but we must have chosen a bad day...

In reply to this review, this job was completed by Gas Force Limited on 19 May 2016, over 15 months ago. It is being suggested that the boiler was still unreliable and leaking after our visit, can I ask all our customers to contact us as soon as possible if a boiler still has a problem after we have completed the job. Please do not wait 15 months to report a defective part and a leak. Can we please assure the writer of this review and all our customers, we will be seeking a report from the manufacturer’s engineer (Worcester Bosch) about the accusation of charging for parts which have not allegedly been installed. We have dated receipts for these items to prove they were purchased on the day of the job. The items in question are a hot water flow sensor charged at £19.04 and a hot water flow sensor rear housing charged at £7.00 (both parts where subject to VAT) We will post the manufacturer’s report on this review once we receive it. We welcome all reviews which are fair, however we find making allegations 15 months after the work has been completed, extremely unfair

First fitted my entire new heating system in 2012. Then he moved my boiler for me mid refurbishment. He has maintained the system since. Today he had overhauled my mothers boiler and heating system. I simply would not use anyone else. Highly recommend this professional.
