New Combi Boiler & Thermostatic Shower

Old original boiler was 30-40 years old. It was getting noisy and less efficient and spare parts hard to get hold of. Gas Monster produced a quotation for us for a new boiler more efficient combination boiler and a new thermostatic shower, to replace our old electric shower, previously installed by Wayne. Boiler was moved from the kitchen to the airing cupboard on the landing, with minimal disruption. Had a new Lyric T6R WiFi thermostat installed. Old flue removed and pipework removed from kitchen and hole in wall bricked up. Tiles were replaced in the bathroom where old shower was. New flue had to be installed through the loft and roof. Straightforward, tidy, efficient and courteous service. Job completed in 5 days on time and as expected. we have used Wayne and his team for years to service our previous boiler. Also replaced our toilet & shower over the years. Highly recommended. Thank you to Wayne and Gas Monster team.

Installation of combi boiler

Excellent service from the initial site survey, easy to understand information (no jargon), the quote was received within the agreed time-scale. A mutually acceptable installation date was agreed. On the allotted date Wayne arrived & introduced me to his team of installation engineers. This was great as he explained to the engineers the exact installation plan. Efficient, fast installation of new boiler. All aspects of installation explained patiently. Very clean worker, put lots of dust sheets down, I really appreciated this. Light fitting got broken, but all successfully resolved. Pleased with new boiler, lovely to have warm house again.

We used Gas Monster to replace an ageing warm air heating system with central heating and radiators throughout the house. Everything about the service was was fantastic, from the initial enquiry, quotation visit, quality of the work itself and aftercare. We needed to replace our existing combi boiler as it was malfunctioning every year. Gas Monster provided us with a quote promptly and even honoured the original price when we finally decided to proceed. They accommodated our needs on dates and completed the work (removal of exisiting machine, replacement, flushing system out and commissioning) in the specified time frame. They showed up on time, worked tidily, and were happy to answer questions. We have used them before and will use them again.

I used Gas Monster to run an annual Gas check on my boiler, central heating and gas appliances. Booking the appointment with them was simple using the on-line tool and they were very responsive to an additional question that I had when I contacted them by phone. The engineer arrived on time and was very polite and efficient fully explaining everything to me and addressing some questions I had about the central heating system. I am very happy with the service they provided and would definitely use them again.
