Shaun Pridden, the electrician, was prompt, pleasant, proficient. I should not hesitate to use Glenfield Electric for larger jobs.

I contacted GlenfieId Electrical Ltd to test and certify the electrical circuits of the house I am selling. The engineer was punctual, polite and completed the work on schedule. The testing identified the need for some remedial work that would be required before certification. Glenfield explained the nature of the remedial work, listed the actions that were essential, ordered the necessary materials and scheduled a revisit to complete the remedial work. The remedial work was completed on time and the certificate is being prepared. At all times Glenfield kept me informed on the task and progress and were always courteous and helpful. I am delighted with the work carried out and would use Glenfield again any time I needed electrical engineering work done. It is an enormous relief to be able to trust a company to clearly explain what has to be done, provide a fair, competitive quote and complete the work on time to a high quality.

We had a full electrical rewire carried out with a consumer unit change and a new alarm system fitted, all whilst living in the home. We couldn't be happier with the service. When we asked Glenfield Electrical for a quote, Shaun arrived at the front door, wearing a mask, and had a conversation with us about what we wanted and how we wanted it done. He was very courteous and thorough and provided us with a quote with a full breakdown of the work and items. It was slightly more expensive than other quotes we received, but we were confident that the work carried out would be well done and exactly how we wanted. Rhys and Will carried out the work and were just as friendly, courteous and professional as Shaun, and carried out the work as we had planned, working around us as we lived in the house. Over the course of the nine days of work, they both worked hard and continuously, cleaned up as they finished chasing sections of wall and were able to leave us with lighting and power at the end of each day. The products they installed were fit for purpose and high quality. Rhys explained exactly what still needed to be done after each day, checking if we were happy with the work so far and answering any of our questions. Any issues that we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. We'll certainly be using Glenfield Electrical for our next projects in the future!

Easy to organise, date time and provisional cost discussed and agreed, company phoned to confirm the appointment. And again on the day phoned when on way to address. Good local company, good service prompt and professional.

Putting up a shelf I thought was a 5 minute job, until I drilled through a live wire and all the upstairs sockets went off. I contacted Glenfield and they put me at ease, empathised with my situation and ensured that I was safe and that there was no risk to me. An electrician was sent, who turned up, on time, was smart and professional. Followed Covid guidance to ensure we were all safe. They explained what they were going to do, and kept me informed as they did the work, with a summary at the end, and confirmation that all electrics were working. They cleaned up, I was amazed, the floor has not looked that clean in years. Fantastic service, worth the money, and will definitely be using Glenfield Electrical for all my electrical requirements moving forward.

Again they exceeded all expectations i was desperate to get an EICR completed for one of my rental properties so that my new tenant could move in before Christmas although the parts to do the job were scarce Phil managed to source them from a trusted supplier with only a day left before they closed for a well-earned break for them all the team then got into gear to complete the job on time. Brilliant again Phil and also to Dave for all his efforts. Amazing result again don’t know why anyone should want to use anyone else I won’t Stay Safe all of you I need you.

I required a EICR report for one of my rental properties I cannot believe that I came across such a honest professional and efficient company I have a condition called OCD and many a trader have ran for the hills when I tell them what I expect of them I feared that this job would be a license to print money although they were unfortunately running late to get to my job I was kept fully updated by Jess in the office who was on the ball answering the phone calls I made also RAM on his eta to complete the job he was very polite professional and smart and explained everything to me Thanks to PHIL for not giving me any jargon as to what may be required to conform You should all be proud to be ambassadors of such a great local company I will definitely put my trust in them in the future Stay Safe and thank you all Regards John.

I had 2 light switches with wiring issues. Ethan quickly spotted the problems, fixed them and explained what he had done. This is the third time I have used Glenfield Electrical. Each time they have been tidy, polite and good value. I will use them again if I have an electrical problem.

We were delighted with the lights installed. The service was first class and efficient. The installer turned up at the time arranged and was a very pleasant man.

Carried out a variety of works in my home with a minimum of fuss and disruption. The team were pleasant and efficient and completed the work to high standard within the agreed timescale.

I needed some extra sockets fitted in my house. I received an itemised quotation two days after the survey was done and the work was carried out a couple of weeks later. Paul arrived on time and was very efficient and careful and cleaned up as he went along. I am totally satisfied with the work carried out and will use Glenfield Electrical again should the need arise.

We had electricity installed to an outbuilding. It took approximately half a days work. It cost us 431 roughly. Good points. Quick to arrange a survey. Survey was free. Quite was reasonable. Office staff are friendly and helpful. Quick turnaround from quite to work carried out. Elecrricians friendly. Bad points Electrician decided to used shelving as ladders and broke our shelving. A dreadful mess was left after they had finished work and said they had tidied up. The cable running to the outbuilding looks like it has just smashed through the wall and no rubber gromit was put in place to make the finish neat. Electrician made an extra hole because they weren't mindful of where other things were. Electrician did not have correct tools and had to leave job half way through to go to the wholesaler and when they came back complained they had no hole saw. Conclusion Not the best job ever done but not the worst. I have had electricians over before who refuse to do any tidy up. These ones at least did some tidy up. Just piles of brick dust left everywhere, not ideal in a house where people have asthma. They also asked if they could use my vacuume. They had their own but said it was useless. I would recommend if your on a budget and don't mind tidying up after they leave, it them using what is to hand in your house as ladders. For people requiring a more professional job I would only use if you specify before quote you want them to clean up their mess and finish neatly.

We needed a wall charger for an electric car. I was recommended to Glenfield Electrical and I was delighted by the way things turned out. From the first contact to completion they were thoroughly professional, easy to deal with and always ready to answer any queries. They also completed the job very quickly. Special thanks to Shaun who oversaw the project and to Rhys & Dave who carried out the installation. Now all i've got to do is learn how to use it.

This was the second time we had used Glenfield Electrical and both times they have executed a first class job. The first time they did major work on a bungalow we had just moved into, and this time a much smaller job. Both times, they were professional, experienced, and really nice people to have in the house. I cannot praise them enough. We waited until they were back in action after covid, rather than having anyone else.

Repair wiring to garden water feature, fix new light in utility room and fix new security light to front of bungalow. All work carried satisfactorily and promptly.

We could not fault the service we received, from the first phone call to Glenfield Electrical to arrange the fitting of an outside power source to the completion of the work. An appointment was made almost immediately to look at the job and provide us with an estimate. This arrived the same day by email and having accepted the quote the work was completed within three days. Rhys and Ethan were delayed on their way to us, but we were called to let us know, and the work was completed very efficiently when they arrived. We would definitely recommend and will use them again for any future work.

I had some lighting installed and Amy came and did most of the work. Her tenacity and rigour was extremely impressive. She arrived early (very unusal for trades people), and wouldn't leave until she was satisfied that I was happy with her work. Dave and his assistant came on another day to complete the work. They too arrived early, and only departed when the job met my specifications. Amy came to my Father in Law's house a few days later, and again demonstrated the same level of professionalism. She located and fixed the main fault, and identified an additional fault, which in the future would need addressing. Glenfield Electrical Ltd are an extremely professional Company, and I would recommend them to anyone. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I would say to you the reader that I don't award high marks easily, so take this as praise indeed.

The quality of customer care and service was outstanding. They went over and above in understanding my situation and repairing my electrical problems. They arrived quickly, kept me informed every step of the way. Work was carried out professionally and quickly and to a high standard. Dave, the electrician was such a lovely person and was very respectful throughout the repair of my electrics, and made me feel at ease. It is extremely hard to find a company that ticks all the boxes in terms of customer service, quality of workmanship, trustworthiness and fair, honest prices but this company ticks all those boxes! I am so happy to have found them and I will be using them for all my future electrical jobs. Excellent Service throughout, from making the initial contact with the call taker, the member who visited us to assess what was required and prepared the quote for the work internally and externally, both being friendly, polite and knowledgeable. However the two electricians, Rhys and Max were outstanding working so efficiently from 7-30am to 5-00pm and completed an excellent job, even working in the rain, these two were brilliant, so skilful and every aspect of the work was professionally completed. First time I used Glenfield Electrical & was very impressed by the efficiency. Shaun came out to discuss/price up the job, I received a quote via email. I telephoned the office to book the work in & the job was completed. All members of staff pleasant & helpful. Will definitely use again.

I asked for a number of small electrical jobs - additional sockets, outside lighting etc. The quote was efficient and the price fair. I noticed that Shaun took note of the make of the existing sockets so the new ones matched (even though they were in the garage). Ashley did a great job, and was keen to ensure that he did it to meet my requirements rather than just the quickest / easiest from his perspective. I would use them again without hesitation.
