Go Plumbers Ltd is a small independent company focusing on quality workmanship and a personal service. We specialise in domestic plumbing, heating and gas work and are Gas Safe registered. Whether it’s a dripping tap, problematic central heating, hot water issue, boiler service or full boiler installation, we can help.
Established in 2011, after completing a time served apprenticeship and 10 years working with firms in Central London, we have gone from strength to strength. Our priority is to ensure that the customer receives the best solution for their particular gas or plumbing issue, implemented in a clean, tidy & efficient manner, to a schedule to fit the customer’s particular needs. We have built up an outstanding reputation with our customers as a result, which can be seen in our reviews below.

Bentley is a friendly reliable plumber who does what he says he is going to do when he says he is going to do it. This sort of reliability in tradesmen is becoming increasingly rare and probably for this reason Bentley is a very busy man. So you may have to wait a bit for a routine service but it is worth the wait.

Go Plumbers have undertaken annual servicing of our old central heating for several years. This year I asked them to install a new, repositioned, gas boiler for us. The job ran smoothly on the agreed dates and for the expected time. I was impressed by the standard of work - and the amount of careful thought that Bentley put into details of the new installation. My central heating packed up one afternoon during a cold spell in January so I phoned Bentley, who fitted me in at 8.00am the following day, before his first appointment. He determined that the problem was the electrical supply to the pump and that a new relay was required. He got the heating working there and then by bypassing the relay and undertook to revert to me (now non-urgent) with a new relay as soon as he was able. I couldn't be happier with his work and with his friendly and supportive approach.

Bentley disconnected and removed an old, unusable gas fire. The booking process took a few days, but once the appointment was fixed the service was excellent. He arrived on time, on a Saturday afternoon, and did a remarkable cleanup of a large accumulation of old ash and debris from the chimney, as well as removing the fire and sealing off the gas line. He worked rapidly and efficiently. Would use him again.

We booked Bentley to relocate a new boiler to the loft from the kitchen. He and his colleague did an exceptional job and we couldn't have been happier. They were both, friendly, professional, courteous and a pleasure to have working in our home. I have very high expectations but these were exceeded in the attention to detail and some of the finishing touches. No mess was left and the installation works perfectly. The hinge to the boiler control panel door was damaged during the installation but Bentley ordered a new one straight away and within a couple of days, he popped back and fixed this. We were that impressed, we have booked Bentley to come back for another job that needs doing. The price quoted was what we paid. No hidden extras. We couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Bentley did a fantastic job fixing our boiler as we suddenly didn't have heating or hot water which with 2 year old at home in December is not great. He was very kind to come in on Sunday and fixed it very promptly. Had all the things needed for repair in his very well equipped van, which meant he didn't have to come back another time to complete the job! He is very professional and cleans up beautifully after what can be a very messy job. Would highly recommend his services and will definitely use Bentley again!

Bentley replaced the boiler in our house and also fitted a new underfloor heating manifold, thermostats and new piping. Bentley was very knowledgable on the options available when quoting for the work. When it came to working he was always on time, professional, tidy and courteous. Bentley came to the house promptly to assess the work, was friendly and businesslike. It was a small job, disconnecting an old gas fire, capping off the gas supply and making good the balanced flue hole. He arrived on the appointed day, on time and smiling. The work was done quickly and efficiently, with dust sheets and vacuum cleaner. He tidied up and left the property in clean state, taking the old fire for disposal as agreed. I would have no hesitation in using his services again.

We’ve used bentleys services this past year to firstly maintain, and then replace our boiler. He serviced our existing boiler, but never pushed us to replace it (even though it was a very old micron). In the end when we determined we had the cash for it, we used his services again to replace the boiler with a valiant eco, and replace a couple of rads and thermostat. His workmanship and attention to detail was second to none. He also communicated with us every step of the way. We were away when Bentley did the replacement, so he kept us updated with video clips at the end of each day which was excellent. He went over and above keeping the condensing pipe from the new boiler hidden inside the kitchen cupboards when I requested it. We’ll certainly use Bentley again, he’s become our go-to man for home heating.

The cistern on our toilet broke. I took pictures of the problem and sent them to Go Plumbers, who I have used on a previous occasion. They managed to fit the work in the same day. Bentley arrived with all the necessary replacement equipment and completed the work speedily. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They have always turned up on the date agreed and will text when they are on route. if they get delayed for any reason they will text you and let you know the reason why. Go Plumbers provided a first class service right from the very comprehensive survey and sizing of the requirements for complete replacement of a very old free standing Potterton Boiler in our 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house over 3 floors. The work was carried out by Bentley and his assistant on time and on budget and very efficiently and tidily from the start. The installation involved removal of the old boiler and flue and the replacement of controls, thermostats and pumps which was quite complex because of the age of some of the Potterton configurations which also involved some electrical investigations. Very impressed and will use Bentley / Go Plumbers again.

We cannot have been more happy with GoPlumbers. From the start Bentley was very helpful, accommodating and incredibly knowledgeable. Our job was quite challenging (a very tight space for a boiler and water tank) and he managed to get it all done within 48 hours and at a very reasonable price. Their quote was the most competitive of three to replace our aged central heating boiler. The work required was well thought out with modifications made to the gas and condensation outlets. Go Plumbers first supplied and fitted a new boiler for us just over 12 months ago and have more recently come to service it a year on. They also plumbed in a new shower and fitted a new radiator. Communication is good and they arrived as expected. Work done in the schedule outlined and no hidden costs. We had shopped around and their quote was the most competitive (and they had come recommended by friends too). We would have no hesitation at recommending them.

We had a buzzing noise from our 12 year old Glow Worm boiler that 3 BG engineers were unable to fix and had suggested a £900 powerflush to see if it worked! I asked Bentley to come and take a look. We were given an accurate quote before he came and although his first visit didn't solve the problem the second visit and a new pump proved the successful solution. He also checked a couple of radiators for me that weren't heating correctly. Bentley was punctual, texting me when he was on his way, tidy and very polite. I would recommend him to anyone needing a plumber.

Bentley has been servicing my (very) old Gloworm boiler for about the last 3-4 years. I have always found him very knowledgable, honest and reliable. I recently made the decision to invest in a new boiler, and Bentley recommended an Atag unit with a nest thermostat controller. I hadn't heard of Atag as a brand, but with a bit of research, discovered they were a highly respected Dutch manufacturer, very well-known in larger commercial installations. They also offer a !0 year warranty on their domestic units, which was good enough for me. Installation happened over 2 days and was carried out on time and very thoroughly. The new system is fantastic, on a different planet to the old Glow-worm boiler (which, by the way, Bentley had managed to keep running way beyond its 'sell by' date). I have no hesitation at all in recommending Go Plumbers, and will be continuing to use them for future annual servicing. Thanks for doing a fantastic job!

My bath taps, locked in along a tiled wall and inaccessible, started to leak. Bentley suggested locking off the taps and searching for replacement cartridges. On his recommendation, I sourced these items, and he came back and fitted them. Brilliant as I now do not have to rip out my complete bathroom in order to solve the problem. Bentley helped with 2 jobs in 2 bathrooms. The first jobs was to replace a set of taps in a complex bath configuration and the second was to fix a weeping shower unit and then regrout the shower. Job completed in 90 minutes. Impressive speed, ease and creative with the way the job was approached. Good explanations throughout and provided a great overview of the work completed. Very tidy and cleaned up afterwards. Great aftercare service. Would 100% recommend.

We needed a water supply for the plants and trees on our 1st floor terrace. Go Plumbers suggested a water butt system as an alternative to a mains supply which would have involved quite a bit of disruptive building work.
