Colin (and Chloe) are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and lovely. Incredibly quick to respond to our enquiries and moved things around as we had a newborn in the house. Highly recommended as Colin looks at the holistic problem where many just bait traps and hope for the best. Goes above and beyond.

We had a rodent in our loft space which wasn't being caught by our normal traps. Colin came out and did a thorough inspection of the property. He was able to confirm what rodent (rat) we were dealing with and fond the source of entry. Colin was able to recommend methods of stopping the rat from getting in and getting rid of the current occupant. This was successful as the current occupant left the loft and hasn't come back. In the follow up visit further recommendations were made but everyone was happy that their was no rodents in the house. We hope this continues to be the case in the following years. From start to finish the Gooch team were excellent. The surgery had staining on some of the older carpets and the team worked their magic and they all now look fresh and wonderful.

Maggie, Colin and the team provided an excellent service from start to finish. I emailed an enquiry over a weekend and received a quick holding response. Maggie called me the next morning and arranged for Colin to come out to assess the job. A detailed quote was provided and a date agreed for the work (cleaning out a loft, fitting new insulation and repairing holes in the loft wall). The work was completed to a high standard by Colin, Joe and Jack and they cleaned up after themselves.

Called with a rat problem and it was solved that day! Colin had brilliant advice and has a really keen eye for detail. Saw a hole we’d never noticed and blocked that morning! He also popped some traps out as well just incase. Ever since we haven’t had any noises or scratches. Lovely guy with brilliant advice. I’ll be using Gooch again. Fabulous efficient service, I would highly recommend.

The best thing about having squirrels and rats in my loft was getting to meet Colin! As well as having phenomenal experience as an ex builder and evicting all sorts of pests from homes, he’s what I’d call a ‘people person’. This meant he understood exactly what I needed to do, hear and see to move on from a stressful experience and totally sleepless nights from all of them running around in the loft. At one point he was even holding my hand as I very reluctantly, at his insistance, worked my way up the ladder to check out my ‘very lovely loft'! Colin asked me for permission and explained costs during the first survey for all of the actions he wanted to take (including filling two large holes in the loft, and adding a rat flap on my drain). All the noises stopped, I’ve been having great sleeps, and just in time for me starting my new job! At first glance, Gooch looks like a corporate sort of company, but it’s actually a small group of very hard working, friendly and knowledgeable people. On emails I had Chloe keeping me totally up to date and checking in with me to see if all was ok before and after Colin’s visit. Emily always called to keep me up to date with Colin’s ETA for my appointment (he is exceptionally punctual) and spent a long time listening to a sleepless me worry. Everyone took time and care in all of their dealings with me and I would not hesitate at all to recommend them. I can’t fault them on anything. Massive thanks everyone at Gooch!

Needed a pest nest sorted out on a weekend. The phone was answered and they kept in contact with updates and let us know the price up front. Job couldn't be done on the same day due to the weather but they came the next day, explained what they were going to do and why. They gave us warnings of what to expect and when. The job was completed quickly with no fuss. The next day we had a phone call to make sure everything was good. All 3 of the team that we were in contact with were courteous, efficient and great at what they do. They are a family run company with a big honest heart. We will definitely use them again should we require anything that they can help with.

Mr Gooch came to the house to deal with an ant infestation in our kitchen. He very quickly located where the nest was and used the appropriate treatment to get rid of the nest and the ants. The next morning there was not a single ant left. We were so relieved! Thank you for all your help and if we ever get any infestation again we will be sure to use you again!

I rang and spoke to Maggie 30 minutes later Colin arrived and quickly solved the problem. He discovered and removed a dead pigeon from the trap door in the log burner having killed flies. Colin is very personable and friendly.

Gooch were contacted regarding a pigeon stuck in the chimney, immediately understood and was willing to help. Colin arrived sooner than expected and got to work to efficiently extract the bird from the chimney breast and out of the window where after taking stock he flew strongly away. We knew the cost beforehand and are thankful that this service was available for a happy outcome all round. Also welcomed advice to cap chimney and cover holes in floorboards by radiator pipes to prevent mice entering the house.

Gooch Control responded promptly to my enquiries regarding a possible moth infestation. They carried out a survey and confirmed the problem as being carpet moth and gave advice about whether or not to replace the carpet which was already damaged. There was no pressure to book their services as it was not necessary. I appreciated that it is a local family firm with extensive experience of pest control.

I contacted Gooch Group for pest control to deal with signs of a spider infestation. I was impressed with their customer service throughout - they responded quickly to my query and everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Colin attended to carry out the survey and did a thorough and professional job. Highly recommend!

Didn't know who to call in Cheltenham for pest control. Relieved I called the Gooch Group. Colin left no stone unturned in getting to the bottom of our issue. He took on the challenge as if it was his own home and really went the extra mile. He knows everything there is to know about his subject. After care service was excellent and he is genuinely interested in resolving your problem for good. I could recommend his service highly enough.

Matt, the specialist Pest Control expert, came to do 2 sprays of our property as we had found evidence of carpet moths. My husband and I were very impressed with his excellent customer service and impressive knowledge. We were very concerned at the size of a family of rats at the foot of our garden bounding the river Chelt which also extended to neighbours gardens,We had used the Gooch Group before for previous problems with wasps and Rats when Matt came to deal with our latest problem he demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of Rodents and informed us what was required and any affects that there might be especially as we have two dogs.we were very impressed he set in motion his plans and within a short time the problem had gone much to our relief. I called on Friday morning, Matt from Gooch Ltd. was at my property by 14:00 the same day. Inspected the issue and gave me excellent advice, whilst also being very reassuring that the issue of “flying ants” and wood worm can be addressed effectively. Tuesday Matt returned and treated my home for word worm. The service was efficient and reliable. Both Matt and James were very friendly and provided an effective service.

We have just successfully concluded our final visit from Gooch Group Pest Control and I have to say what an excellent service. Colin arrived on time following a call the day before to deal with a Rat problem. I was concerned because after using my very limited knowledge of Rat eradication I had failed to get rid on this occasion. Colin completed a thorough survey of the garden and surrounding neighbours possible drain entrances, exits, etc. He tracked them down to under the patio, which was no mean feat and took quite some effort to find the nest. Bait boxes were set in the main problem areas and following up 10 days later the problem has been eradicated.

Gooch pest control helped us when we had unwanted visitors (we were never sure exactly if it was rats or mice or squirrels) into our house. Colin was very thorough in his initial survey and found some entry holes and filled them in with cement. He also came back and fitted a no entry device to our main drain to stops rats from accessing our drainage. Maggie and Joe respond really quickly to emails and calls. The whole team understands the emotion and anxiety that comes with vermin in your home and I’d definitely recommend them.

I called in Gooch Group after rats were spotted in mum's house. Maggie was brilliant, efficient and friendly. They came quickly and on time and Colin was friendly, funny and professional. He immediately spotted where the rats were coming in and cemented up the holes. He left traps and explained how these worked and what the next steps were. He also said he would quote for clearing the overgrown garden and deal with removal of excess rubbish. He was considerate of my mum's feelings and the fact I was scared witless of rats running out. Excellent service as always. I've used Gooch for many service previously, but this time it was for carpet cleaning. The service was brilliant, the carpets came up looking like new which I was very pleased about. The cleaners arrived 5 minutes early, and were very efficient. The office team were also great. I called up asking for a quote, they came and saw the carpet and used a hand device which tells them the quality of the carpet and fibers so they can decide on the ph level of fluid to use in the machine. I received the quote the next morning and booked the job in straight away. The job was then completed within 48 hours. I would highly recommend this company!!
