Harrison Heating have been managing our central heating needs for over 20 years. Once a small business and now part of a bigger company, Harrison Heating continues to provide excellent and reliable service. They have nursed us through the changes and repairs of an old system with upgrades and improvements where necessary. Following another unreliable winter with radiators not working and pump breaking we decided to follow their advice to replace the microbore pipes that fed the radiators. This involved removing and replacing all the pipes to each radiator, lifting floor boards, carpets and lino in addition, replacement of the hot water tank. We went away on holiday and left the team to complete the work. When we came home we opened our front door and were astounded to find that the only reason we knew they had been in the house were the lovely copper pipes and new valves attached to each radiator. We switched on the heating and within a short while it all started to heat up in a whisper. Do not hesitate to use this company. You can trust them to respect you and your home and to advise you with your best interests in mind. From the amazing staff in the office to all of the engineers who visit, I cannot fault them.

My details were lost/entered incorrectly in the system and I therefore had to call on three separate days to prove that their company had indeed visited my home and receive a quote. I was told that after the first diagnostics, the oil engineer was subsequently on annual leave for two weeks and they would need to outsource to another engineer they sometimes use/see if someone could be available within the next week. I was told that the report that was made by the initial diagnostics could not be found initially however they would get back to me. Upon finding my details, I was sent a quote via post - despite them having both my email and telephone number available. I then called again and received a quote via email five working days after the initial visit. Currently this company is quoting £128+VAT per hour of labour. Whilst it is fair for companies to charge as they wish, it is only upon questioning a quote that I received a breakdown of costs and therefore was made aware of it being significantly higher than that of several other engineers in the area. My receipt did not have the correct name listed despite me being the only homeowner.

We had our Combi boiler and thermostats replaced this week. The work has been carried out to a very high standard, our home was kept clean and tidy during the installation and the installers were polite, professional and helpful.

My boiler needed replacing. When called, my extenuating circumstances have been taken into account and an engineer was booked quickly, relevant checks have been done and the work has started and completed in good time. The engineer was courteous, provided good explanations and left the work area very clean and tidy. Very happy.

Installed new boiler. Very efficient and courteous service from start to finish. When I had a query about my thermostat timer they immediately sent an engineer. How refreshing for this to happen. Would recommend this firm to anyone.

I was very pleased with this company. The original quote was given to replace the hot tank but I changed my mind and decided to replace it with a combi-boiler and have the hot tank removed. The company was very helpful with changing the quotation and answering all the questions I asked. They were very clear with answering questions about the work involved and timelines and they kept to the schedule. The workmen laid down floor protection from the boiler to the front door, explained what work was involved and did it efficiently and cleanly. They turned up punctually on both days and finished the work ahead of schedule cleaning up very well after themselves. I would recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Our boiler went on the blink - no hot water or heating on a weekend. The error message on the boiler indicated a new control unit was needed. John was responsive by phone and arranged for Lukas to come first thing Tuesday, once the part had been ordered Monday. Lukas was professional and completed the work well. Unfortunately, the problem rose again the following weekend. Again, John was responsive by phone and this time came himself to do further testing and to replace the control unit (again). Really appreciated his expertise and we are happy with a working system again.
