A really excellent standard of work was completed on our first fix plumbing and a variety of other jobs in our kitchen diner. Jose (a member of Graham’s team) was clearly very experienced, competent and knowledgeable and worked very hard to complete our job in one day. He was also professional and courteous in his manner. Additionally, another tradesman from another company broke one of the newly fitted plumbing valves a few days later and Graham popped over on a Saturday to replace it at short notice for no extra charge. Our old boiler had been on its last legs for ages so we got in contact with Graeme and another Trusted Trader. Graeme's price was a little cheaper so we went with it, and were glad we did. Jose was prompt, polite and efficient in replacing our old boiler with a Worcester Greenstar. Graeme came round toward the end to double check everything was okay and made sure we got the paperwork and knew how to work the programmable thermostat. Can't fault the service and the house is lovely and warm now.

We needed taps, a shower thermostat and an extractor fan replacing. Graeme initially sent his team to sort this out - when the jobs turned out to be slightly more complicated than expected, he turned up quickly and stayed until one of the jobs was finished then came on a Saturday to fit a piece he had to order and finished that job too. He was very knowledgeable, tidy, friendly and communicative.

Graeme and his colleague Anton replaced my leaking kitchen tap and the working parts in my WC cistern which wasn't flushing. In addition, I had previously had a leak in a joint in the flexible hose under the cistern repaired by another plumber which was unsightly and periodically still leaked. Graeme solved both problems. I am extremely happy with the appearance of Graeme's replacement repair and really appreciate the time he took to solve the mystery of the periodic leak and repair that too. Graham originally fitted a boiler and underfloor heating some time ago when we were extending our house. He completed that work on time and to spec keeping us fully informed on options and decisions. Several years later the boiler was failing intermittently and finally gave up on a Saturday morning. Graham came round within 30mins, isolated the issue and sourced and fitted a new pump with minimum fuss within a couple of hour including properly testing the system before he left. Articulate and well informed Graham is professional in his approach and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Graeme juggled a few appointments around to make it to us in fairly good time, seeing as our boiler was no longer working. He sorted the problem in a few hours, gave some good advice on other services we could use to help our heating system/pipework for the future, and also recommended another firm (third party) to carry out the works. During the whole process, he made things easy and was very communicative - even taking a call in the evening to talk some of our options through and giving some helpful advice, after the works had been completed. Would I use Graeme again? Yes - he's clearly a good man and was reliable. We will now use him as our go-to plumber and will be booking him in for a boiler service in due course.

Our old boiler was coming to the end of its life and needed replacing. Graeme came highly recommended from our street’s WhatsApp group. Being local, he attended within minutes of being contacted- all options were explained to us and a new replacement installed within 4 days. All work was done in an efficient and competent manner right down to him registering us for a 10 year guarantee.

There's a reason this fella has five stars. He has probably saved me the subscription to Which in just the couple of times I've needed him. No - make that definitely. The second call basically went along the lines of Me -" help", Graeme - "be there asap" Result = fixed. The reason there was a second call was due to the competence, common sense and attitude to problem-solving he showed on the first visit. Not to mention the reasonable rates . Only taken me 20 years to find a plumber I trust!

Graeme has been my plumber for many years (it must be about 10 or more by now). The latest job he did for me was to install a new boiler. After diagnosing the issue he gave me various options (e.g. fixes that might mean I could avoid the cost of a new boiler), pros and cons of each and approximate budget. Given the age of the boiler I decided to go ahead with getting it replaced. Graeme then promptly gave me a detailed quote and upon my greenlight quickly went about procuring the new boiler on my behalf. The job was complicated by the fact the existing boiler was housed in an old Ikea cupboard (which was in poor repair and not completely the right size for the new boiler) but rather than take the easy way out and have me buy a new cupboard, Graeme managed to make some adjustments and thus not only save me some cash but also avoid needless waste. He also organised the collection of the old boiler by a specialist disposal company rather than dump it in the refuse skips in the services area of the building. The job was done quickly and efficiently and the new boiler is great. I have to say that over the years Graeme has not only always proved to be extremely professional and knowledgeable, but has been reliable and straightforward to deal with. I trust him completely. He never leaves a job half done when he encounters issues and he never fails to fix whatever the problem is. I can't recommend him enough.

In terms of costs, parts with labour all in still leaves me surprised by the value. Compared to some cowboys I've had round, its was night and day. We have used Graeme for about 8 years doing jobs on our house and flat which we rent out. He has done big jobs and little jobs and has always been very reliable and helpful. He has come out in emergencies at very short notice and been able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. He is also very honest. Graeme came promptly & diagnosed the reason for our cold showers. After the part arrived, he arrived quickly to replace the thermostat - not an easy job as it meant removing a couple of tiles, of which we had no more! Graeme directed me over face time in fixing an issue with my washing machine. It was making a shocking noise when spinning. He knew what the issue was right away when I described it and he guided me to empty the machine of water, release the filter and clean it and put it all back together. It was really easy to sort and no bother doing it virtually. Graeme was really clear and helpful about what to do. I would recommend trying to fix things virtually while we’re in lockdown if you can. It’s saved it turning into a much bigger issue.

The first time I met Graeme was in 2018 when he repaired a couple of taps in a bathroom. He made a good impression and was skilful and professional. He has identified and repaired a faulty gas boiler and provides the annual gas safety check which can only be carried out by authorised and qualified engineers.He has also fitted a wireless programmable thermostat which has been a great help. Our combi boiler kept cutting out and turning itself off - very annoying as it meant the radiators/ hot water wouldn't be hot and you had to manually reset the whole system for it to start again. Graeme came round and quickly diagnosed the problem, removed the offending component (a spent ignition spark thingumabob from what I understand), showed me the damage, suggested a replacement, rang the supplier, went to pick it up, returned with the new component, installed it, tested the system all in the space of a few hours. Excellent service, transparent, quick and reliable and reasonably priced. Nothing to fault.

Graeme replaced our boiler last week after it broke down.
