I just want to say thank you to all the staff at Richardson for making me feel very welcome as soon as soon as I entered the building, the service and feedback from everyone on what the issues were with my car which had a new coil pack and spark plugs fitted was very professional and made me feel at ease when I new my car was going to be fixed the next day and that I would be able to collect it. Everyone came across as very helpful and couldn’t do enough, which I found very inspiring, I’ve been going to different garages over the years and have never recommend any to anyone, but I definitely will recommend Richardson. First class service done will a smile thank you.

I couldn’t be happier! Unfortunately I was involved in a accident and this company did the repairs on my black mini. Being a young girl I went into a panic about my car however the two ladies I dealt with (Julia and kim) really put me at ease and were so kind to me, felt like they really shared my worry! To the point they went the extra mile & pulled my repairs forward. I was given a lovely clean courtesy car also. As for the repairs, you wouldn’t know my car had ever had a scratch. I really was amazed! Couldn’t recommend this company enough. Kind, fast working, perfectionists. I hope Julia, Kim and their team get to see this to see my appreciation. Thanks again.

My front bumper sustained a deep and long scrape on its near side corner. The repair has made the appearance of my car look as good as new. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The charges were very reasonable. My thanks to Julia for organising a speedy and successful repair.

They say first Impressions count; that being the case, this company has that feel good factor. You are greeted, by the reception staff, two young ladies, with great smiles, and lovely personalities. If you are there for an appointment, a hot drink is offered. I recently, had to have my car repaired, the initial quote was the best, thereafter, an appointment was made for the repair work to be carried out; this was completed on time, the vehicle, was then presented to me, and the worked checked. I found that the standard of the work, was outstanding. The overall message, I wish to pass on is; if you need a car repair, MOT, or any aspect of work done on you car; this company is the most professional place that I have used. Well done to the staff; the welcoming hot chocolate, was the best.

Unfortunately just before Christmas, my car was involved in an accident and I had to have almost the entire front of the car replaced. New bumper, new headlights, new grilles, new bonnet, the whole sha-bang. I work in a school so having the time to deliver and collect was very tough, but Richardsons went the extra mile to ensure that I could obtain the courtesy car as it was vital for getting to work. My car is my baby and I am always very nervous leaving it with others, and I did call regularly for updates, not demanding the car back, but more so asking how everything was going. I modify my car and have spent a lot of money on it, getting various parts of the car wrapped, and having bits and pieces added to the car. Without me knowing, the day before I collected the car, they had gone to a car wrapping company across the road, and restored the parts that were wrapped to their former glory. I was expecting to arrive and see the car back to stock (how it came out the garage), however they went the extra mile and made sure the car was stunning and looking how it did before the accident! The entire time worked tirelessly and there was always a very nice caring atmosphere. The ladies at the desk, no matter when I called or why, they always had a smile on their faces and created a lovely friendly environment. The whole team went the extra mile for me on more than one occasion and for that I can not be thankful enough.

I recently had an accident, and Richardson’s repaired my car. From reporting it to them, to Julia chasing it on a daily basis, and for excellent speedy service I would just like to thank the Richardson’s team and highly recommend them to all drivers of the road. (Especially young drivers like myself).

We first took our Toyota Aygo to this garage in 2011 to have it serviced. Previously had used the local Toyota agent until then as it was under warranty, but not impressed with their customer service. This garage has been in business since 1966 (must be doing something right!) so we thought we would give them a try. Customer service was first class, from when they took the car in, to when it was delivered back to us. All work done to a high standard (I am a fussy ex motor technician) and the car nicely cleaned. Since then the garage has serviced both the Toyota and also our Mercedes C Class. Both cars have had mechanical repairs and the Mercedes has had paintwork and alloy wheel refurbishment. All this has been done with no problems and on their premises. At all times the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, and nothing is too much trouble. So I, as a long-standing Which? member, have no hesitation in recommending this quality business.
