Richardson's was established in 1966 and is the complete solution for all your vehicle requirements. We are a BSI and RAC approved repair centre as well as a AA approved service centre. We pride ourselves in undertaking work to a very high standard and we are always aware of the need to keep the costs competitive.

We carry our servicing at very competitive prices and follow the exact schedule as stipulated by the vehicle manufacturer and this does not effect the warranty of the vehicle. Our repair centre is fully equipped and can undertake Air conditioning, Wheel alignment, reversing sensors and tyre fitting.

We also have 2 of the latest generation spray booth and undertake all bodywork from large insurance repairs to smart repairs at affordable prices. Our skills also include repairs to Caravans and Motor-homes.

Unfortunately just before Christmas, my car was involved in an accident and I had to have almost the entire front of the car replaced. New bumper, new headlights, new grilles, new bonnet, the whole sha-bang. I work in a school so having the time to deliver and collect was very tough, but Richardsons went the extra mile to ensure that I could obtain the courtesy car as it was vital for getting to work. My car is my baby and I am always very nervous leaving it with others, and I did call regularly for updates, not demanding the car back, but more so asking how everything was going. I modify my car and have spent a lot of money on it, getting various parts of the car wrapped, and having bits and pieces added to the car. Without me knowing, the day before I collected the car, they had gone to a car wrapping company across the road, and restored the parts that were wrapped to their former glory. I was expecting to arrive and see the car back to stock (how it came out the garage), however they went the extra mile and made sure the car was stunning and looking how it did before the accident! The entire time worked tirelessly and there was always a very nice caring atmosphere. The ladies at the desk, no matter when I called or why, they always had a smile on their faces and created a lovely friendly environment. The whole team went the extra mile for me on more than one occasion and for that I can not be thankful enough.

I recently had an accident, and Richardson’s repaired my car. From reporting it to them, to Julia chasing it on a daily basis, and for excellent speedy service I would just like to thank the Richardson’s team and highly recommend them to all drivers of the road. (Especially young drivers like myself).

We first took our Toyota Aygo to this garage in 2011 to have it serviced. Previously had used the local Toyota agent until then as it was under warranty, but not impressed with their customer service. This garage has been in business since 1966 (must be doing something right!) so we thought we would give them a try. Customer service was first class, from when they took the car in, to when it was delivered back to us. All work done to a high standard (I am a fussy ex motor technician) and the car nicely cleaned. Since then the garage has serviced both the Toyota and also our Mercedes C Class. Both cars have had mechanical repairs and the Mercedes has had paintwork and alloy wheel refurbishment. All this has been done with no problems and on their premises. At all times the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, and nothing is too much trouble. So I, as a long-standing Which? member, have no hesitation in recommending this quality business.
