I contacted GravelTech at the start of 2023 to obtain their advice, recommendation and quote for a new driveway. An on-site meeting was arranged promptly by Rhodri who made his suggestions on the most suitable solution. A grass bank, yew hedge and some lawn area was to be removed along with the existing concrete drive and replaced with a resin-bound surface. The total initial area was 145 sq. mt. A detailed spec. was provided and questions answered promptly. I went to view their other completed sites and was impressed with their work. I went ahead and placed a small deposit and said I would be in touch once other building works were completed. Despite a significant delay on my part, the company agreed to install the drive at a date to suit me without increasing their original quote. I asked them to also do some extra works including extending the surfacing to the side of the garage, a new concrete base for a shed and a new sandstone paved area in the front garden. They were very accommodating and provided the additional quotes promptly. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and any minor changes I requested were incorporated. They built a lovely retaining wall and added tiles under the soldier course at the last minute as per my request. The team always attended on time and the work was completed as per their initial estimate. The property was left clean and tidy each day. I would highly recommend GravelTech to anyone considering replacing their drive.

From our initial contact with Graveltech, through to the completion of our new driveway, we were suitably impressed with the care & professionalism demonstrated by every member of staff. When Rhodri Davies visited us to discuss what the company could offer, he listened attentively to our thoughts & ideas but also offered helpful, practical suggestions which could enhance the front aspect of our property. After receiving a detailed quote via email from Rhodri the following day, which we accepted, we were fortunate enough to receive a start date for the following Monday! The project manager, Mike Peacock introduced himself on day one of the operation, & was available for contact throughout the duration of the work. Each member of the construction team was polite and conscientious; the attention given to tidying up the site at the end of each working day was great! We are absolutely delighted with our new driveway, which was completed in an amazing eight working days, and within a month of our initial email to the company! We have had numerous positive comments from neighbours, passers-by and delivery staff since the driveway was completed. Graveltech deserves nothing but praise and acclamation for the attitude & effort of its staff in providing us with our fantastic new driveway!

What can i say, Rhod and his team were brilliant from start to finish. Rhod Came round they did a review giving ideas and planned everything out. when the work began the team did it all from start to finish in a week and a half, even came on a Saturday. I am so pleased we found Graveltech. They have transformed our garden. The whole family have another area we can enjoy. I cannot recommend them enough.

Graveltech provided a detailed proposal to replace an existing driveway with a new design applying a porous resin bound shingle surface, cobbled edging, landing pad for front door and new fencing. We were extremely pleased with the whole process from the consultation and planning through to execution and completion. We were provided with relevant referral sites to assist with the thought process. There was no pressure to make a decision and the focus was all about getting the design right. The project was delivered on plan, on budget and on the dates agreed. Throughout the process we benefitted from great communication with the Graveltech team and we are delighted with our new driveway.

Graveltech were asked to restore a areas of grass that had become damaged by the use of a heavy lifting platform whilst Earthpoints Ltd were carrying out solar PV installation at one of our clients, a secondary school in St Albans. Due to heavy rainfall over several weeks the ground was extremely wet resulting in challenging conditions. We needed the ground restored quickly and the work needed to be carried out within a tight time period during the school holidays. Mike and Rhodri quickly understood our requirements and proposed a solution to exceed our client's expectations. This was implemented on budget and within the agreed timeline. The ground works carried out by Mike and his team left the areas looking better than they had before the area had been damaged. When one area was unfortunately further damaged by another contractor, undoing the excellent work that Graveltech had done, they responded immediately, returning to the site to restore the ground once more to a pristine condition. Overall, the work was first class and the outcome excellent. Graveltech were easy to work with before, during and after the works and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t even get the workers to have a cup of tea. Initially, we required a rotting garden post to be replaced. Then, a chance conversation with Rod about having some work done repairing and extending the pathways and patios improved and extended has led to our fantastic garden layout which all the family love. Both Rod and Mike came up with first-rate suggestions to improve our simplistic ideas at little or no increased cost. It seems to us, that the driving force for the company was improving the quality of the customer experience not maximizing profits for the company. The workers they use are trustworthy and polite with the correct degree of skills to complete the work to a high standard. Good management of their staff meant work went ahead at pace. They said the job would be completed within the week and it was to the day. Ably supported by Verity in the office made contact with all the company's staff professional, helpful, and friendly. We cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I was delighted with the outcome and at every stage of working with the Graveltech team. Rhodri visited very soon after I contacted the company and appreciated the changes required fully and made informed suggestions. The work started soon and was swift and efficient. The construction team arrived early and promptly every morning and worked very hard to construct a very aesthetically pleasing new path for me that is accessible and safe. Several of my neighbours have commented on how nice the transformation looks. All work was carefully overseen by Mike who ensured that my plants were completely unbothered by the work. Extra topsoil was even provided against an altered bank. All the work was tidy and the team were self-sufficient yet they kept me informed at every stage. The finished work has been guaranteed and I have received full after-care instructions. I strongly recommend Graveltech. I have been impressed by their work, they have been a pleasure to interact with and the outcome has been wonderful.

All members of the team at Graveltech have been helpful, pleasant and attentive from the the first enquiry, to the design and throughout the duration and completion of our driveway. Rhod listened to what we asked for and dealt with our initial questions, Mike set up the team of workers on site and Josef kept the work moving, all with Verity back at the office providing back-up. The team worked independently so we could get on with our days. All in all a very smooth procedure from a team we would recommend.
