I was unable to open up my green flag app due to poor internet connection. I used the green flag phone number and was answered and my breakdown dealt with within minutes. I was contacted and kept updated by text and phone call by the technician. He was quick and efficient to diagnose the problem with my car. He was able to get my car started and gave me clear advice to the work that needed to be carried out ASAP. I was very grateful of the reassurance and professionalism I received throughout my breakdown.

Great communications. Swift response, diagnoses and recovery. Under 1 hour each, believe both were 0.5 hours. Fault diagnosed accurately, allowing me to have the correcy specialist engaged to have car repaired later in the day. Would not be possible to do better.

No hassle, Easy to use
After the clutch on my car just died out, I was in a bit of astress, but remembered I had green flag cover with my car insurance. I had no details, but after downloading the app and following a 2 minute on boarding process, everything was ready to go and I had recovery on the way. Only downside was the wait time, but not much can be done about that. Turned what was an incredibly stressful moment in to one that was quick and easy to deal with. Highly recommend!

Oops moment!
When i accidentally left my ONLY key for my car in a shop that was closed for the day. I had to call Green Flag to recover my car from a shop car park that only had a two hour stay time. Gary made sure that my car was safely collected and dropped off on my drive at home, and was friendly and reassuring despite it heavy raining at the time. Stuart on the phone was also very helpful and professional and kept me updated through the whole process. Over all very happy with the service.

Hero’s at a very vulnerable and scary momment moment
Breaking down on the motorway is just so scary. Greenflag and the recovery service were incredible. From start to finish the communication was calm, kind and professional. After my engine gave up, I had to get rescued. Using the app it was easy and gave them my exact location. Recovery arrived well within the alloted 1 hour. Guy was friendly efficient and went above and beyond to help me out in very difficult circumstances.

Green Flag Rescue.
I was attending a conference and had left my lights on, as a result the following afternoon my car battery was completely flat. I used the all to contact green flag, I had an immediate response for about an hour which I thought was reasonable as it was my fault. I had a call about 15 mins later from the engineer to say we was on his way. The engineer, quickly and efficiently explained to me the alternator was in good health and the battery required replacement & explained the options to me. I was away in good time and overall the whole process to about 50mins so I got to me next appointment in good time. Overall the engineer was polite and very helpful so very happy.

Tricky problem fixed
I suffered a puncture which led to a total loss of air in the tyre. So the car was undrivable. I had a spacesaver spare wheel,, so attempted to change the wheel. Unfortunately the socket for the security nut had been damaged and would not grip the nut properly so I could not undo it. The Green Flag technician was determined not to be defeated by this situation. After trying several strategies, some of which might have damaged he alloy wheel (he warned me and got my permission before trying) he succeeded in holding the socket onto the nut sufficiently firmly that he could release the nut. He was then able to complete the wheel change so I could continue driving home. He was careful, throughout the rescue, to inform me about what he was doing. At the end, he checked that I understood the limitations of driving safely on the spacesaver wheel.

Great service.
My car wouldn't start. I contacted Green Flag via the app. I received a reply straight away. Arraned time for mechanic to come. There was a choice of day and time. Selected within next hour. Steve, the mechanic , arrived a bit before the time. He checked to see what was wrong. A flat battery. He gave me options of what to do. I chose buying a battery from his van. Seemed a little expensive, but I have no idea of battery prices. He said they were good quality. He fitted battery and took old one away. This was easiest option for me, as didn't want too finding a garage, etc. I am very pleased with everything, ease of app, response time, service. I recommend GF highly, and using the app to contact them, as phone calls can take ages, and that's something you don't want when you have car problems.

Green Flag is a Great service
I made a silly mistake with my car when I parked it at the door after reversing the car. I left the hazard lights on. A few hours later the battery was almost dead. Green Flag provided a helpful, friendly and understanding technician very quickly and in fifteen minutes the battery had had a boost, the engine was running smoothly and I was able, as soon as the technician left, to take the car for a short run to charge the battery which is working well. AND, when I now back the car up to my door I ALWAYS switch the hazard lights OFF.

Green Flag-fantastic service
This is the first time I have had to call out Green Flag. I was worried because I had always used the big companies before and usually had to wait ages for them to come out but Green Flag got a technician to me really quickly. I broke down at almost midnight and was on my own in the car so this was a huge relief. The technician got me going again in about 10 minutes. Fantastic service. Can’t praise Green Flag highly enough.

I broke down on bank holiday Monday on my way home from Pembrokeshire at 8.45 with alternator problems phoned green flag and was recovered by 9.45 loaded on the truck and was home by 12.30 best service I have ever had and I have dealt with RAC and AA in my time my granddaughter who is a social worker signed up to green flag that afternoon on my advice thank you

Drama free help just when you need it most!
After blowing a tyre on the caravan at 60mph on a very busy motorway an efficient, calm and speedy service is what you want the most and that was exactly what we received. It’s difficult to explain just how noisy it is on the hard shoulder behind the barrier and far too dangerous with vehicles rocking the caravan and car to change something as simple a wheel but the call was handled with patience and professionalism to get the help we needed. Technician was very helpful and a strategically placed van makes a big difference to your perception of safety and he went over and above the job description to get us off safely. I have renewed sympathy when passing those in a similar situation and can only hope they too are with Green Flag.

Green Flag doing things very well
I’ve had to call out Roadside Recovery from Green Flag twice within a month. Each time was a different fault, in different parts of the country. Both times the Green Flag technicians were excellent. Not only did they get us mobile on each occasion, they patiently explained what had happened, then fixed it and gave all the necessary assurances. If only my car was as dependable as the service from Green Flag. Spoiler: it does take quite a while for them to arrive - but it’s worth the wait!!

Broke down on a busy dual carriageway at traffic lights in live lane, absolutely no power. Green flag turned out Macadams who were there in 20 mins and had my battery terminal problems sorted in about 10 mins. Very friendly and helpful throughout, overall very impressed.

Very happy with the Green Flag service
I got home and could lock hybrid car door. When I got out of my car a continuous noise alert when I closed the door but if I stayed in the car with the doors closed the noise stopped. Luckiky my car was in my drive. In panic I called Green Flag and I explained my problem to a young lady. Within a technician called me and asked me to explain the problem that's I looked down and realised I had my gear stick on neutral of parking. I put the gear stick in my automatic car in parking and the problem was resolved. I was relieved but also grateful for the prompt help I received from Green Flag.
