Contact was easily & tech arrived on time, but the tracking of the Tech on the app doesn't work. Got me home & parked up my vehicle perfectly on my rather tight driveway Had the tracking worked it would have been all 5*

Whilst working in Scarborough, my vehicle suffered a breakdown, this was approximately 9.30am, I contacted Direct Line (Green Flag) via the number on the website, they verified my details etc. took my position and said that they would contact me. By 10.30 a technician had visited and assessed my vehicle and decided I needed recovery. By 12.30 I was on the back of a lorry heading for Essex. Driver was excellent, I was kept informed by phone and text, service could not have been better!

Whilst we had to wait two hours for the recovery vehicle to get to us, in the overall scheme of things that want too bad. The person who answered the call suggested a wait of 69 to 90 minutes. The App then showed 60 minutes but was revised after 60 minutes to two hours. It would have been helpful if the extra hour could have been notified before the initial estimated time expired. But again, overall OK

Whilst driving north on the A34 at 8.30pm a tyre on my caravan burst. Green Flag were notified. It took until 1.30pm (16 hours) the following day before the caravan was rescued. Throughout the night around 24 calls were made with Green Flag, it took 3 abortive attempts by Green Flag to arrange a suitable breakdown vehicle before a 4th truck was able to uplift the caravan. In the meantime my wife and I were left in a lay-by with limited food and drink. We had been advised by one of the breakdown company drivers not to leave the vehicle unattended. After an investigation lasting approximately 3 weeks Green Flag accepted their service "was below an acceptable standard". I would been able to tell them that at the time.
