The 2 guys from Slades Garage in Chard were great in our hour of news. They assessed the car and towed it off the road to a say area as I was in a live lane. From there he arranged recovery who came and loaded the car and caravan. Once they got me home he helped to put my van back into storage. They were both very polite and helpful and a great credit to themselves and their employer. Thanks guys

Excellent service from green flag, Gary was amazing, recovered my car and took us home, so helpful and efficient, I had my 11 year old girl with me so needed to get Home in good time, it was very hot outside so to not have to wait long was a bonus

Locked out my car with the keys inside. Kids and weekly shop stuck inside and on show still in the ignition. If left overnight there was potential for the locals to steal the car. Speed call out and keys retrieved in the day. Well done Green Flag and especially Clair on the help desk putting my mind at ease. A1 service.

Second time had to use Green Flag different cars but service was very good each time. Within 30/40 mins. Glad I switched from RAC. Last time I used them they gave me a time of six hours to arrive!. I class myself as unfortunate to need rescue twice but glad I had Green Flag to back me up.

Poor and misleading communications and false promises!

Unfortunately this was the first time I needed to use mayday (green flag) and it wasn’t a nice experience. We were separated from our car and caravan after 13hrs of waiting for assistance and travelling home. The communications from green flag were misleading, inaccurate and unreliable, the text messages were also totally pointless as they never related to my breakdown, and the updates from staff kept telling me my vehicles were in Rotherham when all along they were in Leicester! They didn’t even know where they were. It took 4 days before I got my vehicles back. Not impressed.

I called on Sunday but in view of the fact that my local garage wouldn’t be open, I asked for the technician to attend on Monday. I was given a time slot of 9.00am - 11.00am. Technician messaged at 8.40 and was here by 9.00. Got the car going and emailed his report. Excellent, no nonsense service

After breaking down in my father's car on the M18/M1 slip road, with a trailer on, I was relieved to hear my dad had breakdown insurance with Green Flag. I called and spoke to lady who was calm and collected. She took all the details and said someone would be with me within the hour. They were actually there with me in much less than an hour and loaded the vehicle straight away to get off the motorway to safety. Once parked at a safe point, the recovery driver ascertained that the vehicle wasn't fixable at the tissue and father's authorisation to recover to my final destination from the control centre. 5 minutes later we were en- route back to Manchester where my dad had arranged for it to be fixed and for me to get back home. The driver of the recovery truck was courteous, friendly and professional throughout and in General, Green Flag made what was a really stressful event into a manageable one. Very pleased with the service I received and will ensure I renew my own breakdown insurance with Green Flag.
