Customer Review – Greenables My pellet burner installer recommended Greenables to us, and we are so pleased he did. Previously, we had been dealing with a company on the other side of the country that offered no customer service whatsoever. By contrast, Greenables have been nothing short of amazing. It’s fantastic that they are based locally, literally in the next village. The service is second to none: we ordered bags of pellets at the beginning of the week, and they were delivered just three days later. The whole experience has been friendly, personal, and efficient—exactly what you hope for when supporting a local business. We will definitely be returning to them in the future. If you need anything of this nature, I highly recommend getting in touch with Greenables—you’ll be so pleased you did. Plus the wood quality is superb, whole pellets hardly any dust which is no good for the burner.

Having scoured the Internet and failed to find the right person, we found Gary and we were really glad we did. He quickly diagnosed the problem, serviced the thermal panel system and explained how to get the best out of the system. We've already recommended him!

Depressingly for him, Gary almost moved in to our house having to frequently work wonders to keep our old boiler, installed by cowboys, functioning. He has bent over backwards to somehow always find time to come to the rescue. On first seeing our set up, he said the only real solution was a full reinstall. Years of frustration later, he has just done exactly that, installing a new pellet boiler, and comprehensive heating system in the house. Again, he found the time to get this done soon after discussing and quoting. The quality of the work is exceptional. The reliability of the team is superb. The end result has been incredible. We can’t thank Gary enough for all he has done for us both across the last number of years as well as now. I don’t believe it’d be possible for find someone with greater integrity, reliability, quality and honesty.

I can’t sing the praises of Gary and his team at Greenables loud enough. Prior to engaging Greenables to install a Klover thermoaura or our wide beam canal boat we had been let down by another tradesman who let us down at the last minute. Having contacted Gary from the first moment he was nothing but professional accommodating to our needs. He completed a comprehensive site survey of our boat, providing heat loss calculations on the same day to ensure our chooses pellet stove was suitable for its intended environment. He then provided a detailed quote at a competitive price. We were blown away by his customer service and decided to procure his services. Come installation he arrived on time with his team who were polite and professional through out. They went above and beyond to ensure that not only what they installed but also that the central heating and hot water system the boiler was be connecting to was all working and fit for purpose. They were helpful beyond belief. The installation was seamless and the plumbing and pipe work installed by Ross is the neatest I have ever seen, an engineering master piece. When everything was connected up and they tested the pellet boiler I was blown away. We have hit water on demand, a very warm boat and the glow of a very efficient biomass boiler. Gary’s aftercare when the boiler was installed has been exceptional and is always at the end of the phone to assist. Greenables are company that care about their customers. Thank you so much.

I first met Gary a couple of years ago when I asked him to come over to give me his thoughts on my proposal to replace my aging gas fired boiler with a heat pump. I had tried a couple of large companies previously but they weren't interested because of the size of the house. I shared all my data with Gary and he undertook heat loss survey. From the outset I knew that I could work with Gary. He is honest and very straightforward and clearly knows what he is doing. Like a previous feedback article, the teams he used for plumbing (Ross, Luke & Alfie) and electrical (Ryan) work were absolutely fantastic. They were tidy, professional and just an absolute joy to have around the house. The airing cupboard works that they undertook are a work of art ( as Gary said it would be). Truly outstanding work from them all. Albeit with mild weather at the moment the system is performing well with an estimated CoP of close on 5. I have no doubt that the system will cope with winter loadings. We are absolutely delighted and I have no doubt in recommending such a professional set of contractors. Thank you Greenables!

Gary was brilliant from his first arrival for the heat loss survey, was honest and thorough with his work. The teams he used for plumbing (Ross, Luke & Alfie) and electrical (Ryan) work were tidy, professional and just an absolute joy to have around the house. Truly outstanding work from them all. Currently waiting to see how the Air Source Heat Pump handles the winter months but it looks very smart and had no issues with the hot water so far. We're extremely happy.

I have been using Greenables for a number of years and have found Gary and his team to be professional, helpful and quick to respond. They do my annual RHI/HETAS approved service every year and send out replacement parts for next day delivery when required. Highly recommend.

Our pellet boiler has been serviced and maintained by Gary for 3 years. We now purchase pellets from Greenables. I have been very impressed with the knowledge and ability to solve inherited problems with the original installation of our biomass boiler which was not installed by Gary. With his assistance the boiler works as it should. Today we had an issue with the flue overheating, after 3 attempts to fix the problem using the manual for guidance I realised it required an engineer. I called Gary at 9am, he was with us at 10.30 ish and a new sensor was fitted tested and the boiler was fine tuned by 12.30. What a fantastic response and proffesional repair. It was fortunate that Gary was finishing a job nearby which helped but even so, impressive. The icing on the cake so to speak, the invoice arrives with a 50% discount for being a loyal customer. I cannot overstate the proffessional service Greenables offer us and have no hesitation in awarding maximum stars. Thank you Gary and the team.

After 18 months battling with an unstable boiler and a useless local company we found Greenables. Gary was mega helpful, always ringing back, and he then traveled out of his patch to sort out our boiler in one day. Top attitude & service.

I’ve had a garden building installed at the bottom of my garden and decided to have a wood burning stove installed. I found the process from start to finish really easy. Starting with dealing with Marie in the office, to installation with the on site team. Greenables provided and installed the stove, hearth and flue system. Gary and Chris worked quickly and efficiently, keeping the work space very clean and tidy. I’m so pleased with the wood burner and can’t waiting for the cold evenings to roll in. I would definitely recommend Greenables.

Contacted the company in January 2023 looking for a repair/replacement of a damaged solar thermal panel. Representatives visited the house, to see the damaged panel on 31st January and asked me to supply further details of the system which I did by email. There then followed a series of email exchanges with me trying to get a quote from them. Trader has never been clear about what would be required including at one stage saying the whole solar system would need to be replace - just because of 1 broken solar thermal panel? This was queried by me and no explanation was really provided by the company - saying ‘the supplier recommended everything was replaced’? Nevertheless in March they said it would take up to 6 weeks to provide a quote. It’s now September and despite several chasers being sent it has not provided a response or quote from the company.

I have now used this company to look after our biomass central heating system for more than seven years. Members of the team have been involved in both routine servicing and emergency work and when an urgent response has been required, action has been impressive. As a recent example, the heat store plumbing developed a leak over the weekend. This was first noticed at 8.00 am on Sunday. I phoned Gary at 9.30 am and the plumber was on site midday on Monday. The faulty valve connection was replaced within the hour. I have no hesitation in recommending Gary and his team.

We have used many times for our biomass boiler. Work has always been done quickly and efficiently. Cannot recommend highly enough.

After six or seven years with another company they ceased offering biomass servicing We were very fortunate to find Greenables as a replacement Gary arrived on Monday for our first annual service of our Biotech boiler by Greenables and immediately impressed He did a very thorough job - including aspects such as emptying the pellet hopper and sweeping the flue, that were not done during our previous services. He also left the site even cleaner and tidier than when he arrived and disposed of the ash onto our flower beds as requested And all for a very reasonable price especially given his personable manner and overall quality of service.

I only leave reviews if I get exceptional service. Gary has looked after our machine for many years and we are very grateful and appreciate his knowledge, professionalism and efficiency.

Initially came to do a full service on my solar panels system and had to come back the following week to replace the expansion vessel. Both were very professional and polite. I was working from my home office during both visits, they were very unobtrusive so I was able to carry on as normal, taking meetings etc. Service was easy to book, I recommend getting them booked in early as they're very busy.

Gary has been looking after our biomass red compact 35 for 6 years His knowledge is both excellent and extensive Our boiler is somewhat sensitive and can be a bit temperamental at times, when it is playing up I've called Gary who invariably knows exactly what the issue is and how to tell me to fix it! His servicing is efficient, tidy and reliable always leaving the boiler & area cleaner than it was! Gary's advice on preventative measures and set up to get the most out of the system is also extensive and spot on I have no hesitation in both continuing to use Greenables and recommend their Services.
