Gregor Heating

A competitive and clear quotation was left with me to decide in my own time. The office staff I spoke to were helpful and efficient. The installer was polite and obviously knew what he was doing. He arrived earlier than I expected the first day, but explained that it was to avoid commuter traffic, so I knew when to expect him on day 2. The installation was done in a very neat and tidy way and everything was cleaned up afterwards. Three new radiators supplied by me were also installed and the installer checked with me at each stage as to the positioning of each one. The electrician also checked with me as to where the switches should be positioned. Thorough post-installation testing revealed that he had inadvertently crossed the hot and cold pipes, but this was quickly corrected! When subsequently a problem cropped up with the flue, rendering the boiler unusuable in an unseasonably cold and wet June, everyone moved fast to ensure that the problem was corrected as quickly as possible and I also received a follow-up call after that. So all in all I am happy with the service I received.

Following the failure of by elderly boiler I sought competitive tendors for a replacement including Gregor following a recommendation from a neighbour which turned out to be the best in all respects. The proposal for replacement which included the update of the heating and hot water system was expertly assessed and the subsequent work was undertaken in a professional manner with due regard to the upheaval involved. At ll times due regard was paid to cleanliness and protection of floors and carpets and a full test of the revised system undertaken and demonstrated on completion. Unfortunately subsequently to completion the original radiator valves which were retained failed involving a return visit and the further necessary work which was once again undertaken with care and and consideration to my satisfaction. I have no hesitation in recommending Gregor as a first class organisation for excellence in all respects.

This is the second time the church has used this organisation and they maintained their professional standards. The work was to install a replacement boiler in the church hall and this was carried out in a timely manner on the day agreed by us. The work was carried out professionally and the work area left spotless. An excellent job, I would recommend them to anybody looking for this type of work to be carried out.

We replaced an old conventional boiler with a combi boiler in our house. It was a wonderful 'Gregor' experience throughout the installation process --starting from the sales quotation, the survey to the actual installation. Excellent and prompt response to our phone call, for an Engineer to call and sort out the problem we were having with the old back boiler. Adam the Engineer said that the boiler had finally reached the stage where any replacements were costly and hard to obtain, so we decided to go for a combi boiler, and Adam gave us a quote for the installation, which was well below another quote that we had. We accepted the quote, and on the 6th of February, Mark the Engineer arrived early and we were amazed how quickly he had got out the tanks from the attic and also the immersion heater.we had to go out and by the time we got back all the old equipment had been removed from the front garden. Certainly, a hard days work by Mark, who came the next day and by early afternoon had completed the work and said that an Electrician would call shortly to install all the Electrics. Lee arrived and promptly finished off the control system and then explained how the system worked before departing. We struggled a bit with the system for a few days and decided to call Gregor for an Engineer to call and give us further advice with the control settings. A short time later Adam called and gave us more information on how best to use our new system, which we now can control quite easily.
