Excellent, professional and friendly service by Tom and his son, left everywhere clean and tidy, also took the time to explain the App based boiler, especially when I’m not tech savvy, would highly recommend.

Griffin replaced our oil fired boiler. Their quotation was clearly set out and fairly priced. They turned-up when they said that they would. They did what they said that they were going to do and resolved any snags as they encountered them, without any drama. No excuses, no bluster. They clearly explained what they were doing and were clean, friendly, polite and efficient in their approach. They respected their workspace and our property. In short, they did a great job and were refreshingly excellent from start to finish. If only more traders were like this! I'd have no hesitation in recommending Griffin to potential customers.

I came home from holiday to find I had no hot water or heating. I phoned Tom the next morning and he came round early that same evening. It was clear that a new boiler was necessary and within 2 days a new one had been fitted. Amazing! Having checked the Which Trusted Trader Griffin Plumbing & Heating was recommended for Air Conditioning Installation. Having decided on my preferred manufacturer Worc/Bosch, Tom from Griffin came to check the installation and equipment requirements. Having provided a written quote and a reasonable timescale I agreed to the quote and to arrange for extra electrical dedicated protected supply as specified by Tom. Where else to find a trusted Electrician than with Which Trusted Trader. I had the that work completed in preparation for Tom to wield his magic. On the agreed day Tom and Sam appeared earlier than agreed and proceeded to carry out the work. I had no hesitation to leave them to get on with the work. All work was carried out accurately, efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. They were friendly, extremely tidy and explained everything as they proceeded to complete the work within the agreed timescale. The following day I had one small query which Tom immediately responded to and arrived promptly to fix a small problem. I can highly them as they provided a 5* service in a friendly and competent manner. The quality of the workmanship and the value for money was exceptional. I shall always use them for any other plumbing or heating installations and servicing.

When Tom first came to look at what was needed to install our new Worcester boiler and to price the job, he discovered we had the wrong size gas pipe and talked through what they were going to have to do, and that they would have to saw through some floorboards to find the gas pipe. He said this might cause some splitting and wanted to know where carpets and rugs were laid so as to cover any potential damage…in fact, on the day, there was none… although much of the pipe turned out to be in concrete under the boards. Tom and Sam arrived promptly on the agreed day for installation. The new boiler and pipework were completed quickly and efficiently. Dealing with the buried pipe was more challenging and messy. But at the end of the day, no one would have known. They left everything spotless, a new boiler that works quietly and brilliantly, and they gave us instructions on how to work the new timer and make adjustments to settings on the new boiler if needed. And we arranged a boiler service in 12months' time. Tom also said he was on call any time if we needed help. We are so impressed with their skill, commitment, perseverance in a challenge, competence, and final clean-up that we would happily recommend them to anyone. Tom and Sam installed a boiler and a partial gas central heating system in our new house, which had previously been reliant on old electric storage heaters. Initial contact was very straightforward, and Tom came out to quote promptly. He understood immediately what we were aiming to achieve, listened to our concerns, and offered practical solutions. The quote was sent the same evening. Not the cheapest we got, but we were impressed with Tom's professionalism and knowledge, and the price was competitive. We were not disappointed - the job was carried out in one day by Tom and Sam working together. Both were diligent, communicated well, and kept disruption and mess to a minimum. We particularly appreciated the attention given to the finish on the outside wall where the boiler was vented, which went well beyond the call of duty. All paperwork certifying the work was compliant was forwarded in a timely fashion once payment had been made and the boiler was registered for its guarantee with the manufacturer, without us having the chase anything, which makes a nice change these days! Contacted Tom, appointment made quickly to assess the job. Sam came to do the assessment, knowledgeable and friendly. Estimate arrived quickly and arrangements to do the job made. Tom and Sam worked quickly and efficiently and new boiler fitted in the morning. They made sure we weren't without water for too long. Lovely clean , tidy job. Good, clear instructions given for boiler and thermostat use and felt comfortable that we could always call should we need further help. Altogether really pleased with the whole process.

We ordered a boiler direct from the manufacturer and were steered to Griffin as an approved installer of their products. We therefore expected a solid service. Tom surpassed our expectations. He arrived bang on time on a Saturday morning despite quite a drive to get to us, and immediately leapt into action. He worked efficiently and tidily and we knew we were in safe hands. Before leaving he made sure we had all the necessary documentation for our new boiler and took time to go over the controls as well as throwing in some anecdotes for good measure. He was an absolute joy and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Impressed with the website I contacted Tom who was on holiday at the time but still found time to respond to my message. The next day we had a provisory quote followed by a full quote a few days later. Tom was friendly and professional from the start. Contacted Griffin Plumbing and Heating Engineers and they came out the next day to give me a quote. Tom new what he was talking about and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He emailed me with a 'Fixed price guarentee' that same night,which I was very happy with. The new boiler and other work was completed within a few weeks to my total satisfaction. Sam who was also part of the Griffin team was also excellent with a friendly profesional attitude and left everywhere very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this company.

We have just had our boiler serviced by Tom, who did an excellent job. We had debated whether to replace our old boiler, but are so glad we did as it is so much more efficient and therefore money saving. We feel that it has paid for itself already and of course, has several year’s warranty left. As before Tom was polite, friendly and thorough with his tests to check its competence. We were very pleased with the way Griffin Plumbers created a wc out of our old airing cupboard. Therefore we engaged them for a second time when we wanted our bathroom completely refurbished. The help and advice we got regarding layout and product options was very useful. The work commenced on the day we expected them and despite some supply issues the work was completed on schedule due to the diligence of the firm. We were kept informed of progress on a daily basis. All of the work was completed to a high standard and with an eye for detail. This includes the re-plastering which was done by an associate of the firm. All works were completed within the budget initially quoted. Once again, we are very pleased with the result and feel fortunate that we engaged them in the first place. We have no hesitation in recommending this firm who go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction.

For phase 1 we had a new boiler fitted as well as two new radiators and some additional thermostatic radiator valves. Phase two was the conversion of our old airing cupboard to well appointed wc. Tom sourced all the items required himself at no extra cost to ourselves. He also undertook and completed aspects that I had expected to have to do myself. He didn't charge any extra for this. At the end of each working day he took the time to make sure that we were completely satisfied with each stage. We are very pleased with everything that has been done. We will be employing the firm again as we also need to completely refurbish our bathroom. On the basis of our experience we have no hesitation in recommending Griffin Plumbing.

I contacted Tom at Griffin Plumbing as I had an old oil system boiler that needed replacing. After much discussion we decided that converting to a combi system would be best and Tom quoted for the work that needed doing. The price was right given the amount of work needed and Tom was also able to arrange interest free credit at no extra charge to cover the work. The job was carried out on time and my property was left spotlessly clean after the work. I would highly recommend Griffin Plumbing for any future work, not only for their quality and professionalism, but they are also a decent team and very easy to get on with. 10/10.

Tom came out immediately to fix an old problem with our boiler and seemed a very nice chap, he wore a mask and took his shoes off and did a great job, so we decided to have him fit our new boiler. We found his quote to be very competitive. It was an external oil boiler which was fitted in one day with minimum mess. We felt he was very trustworthy so left him and his colleague and went out for the day. When we got back the job was finished and he explained how to use the wireless thermostat. It's very difficult when your 15 year old boiler breaks down and you realise to fix it would cost @ £400. This is what happened to me. I'm a retired engineer and understand heating systems, but for those that don't and their boiler breaks down unexpectedly it can be a daunting decision to make. I decided it to make more sense to get a new boiler. I researched the web to choose the best boiler for my needs and found that Worcester Bosch are probably the best make. So I had made my decision on the make of boiler, now the really hard part, finding a Trustworthy engineer to supply and fit the boiler. I'm fairly new to the area so couldn't really go by word of mouth. So it was back to the trusted web to trawl through all of my options. I am very comprehensive in my research and by the fact of reading so many excellent reviews I opted to try Griffin plumbing and heating. I rang in the morning explaining the situation and was amazed that he could come and see me that afternoon. Thomas Griffin arrived at the agreed time ( With mask on ). He spent about an hour with me thoroughly explaining which type of Worcester Bosch boiler and associated controls I needed. I live in a park home so it had to be LPG. I was very impressed when told the boiler came with a 10 year guarantee. Thomas gave me a quote to supply and fit. It was a fair quote, I had seen cheaper quotes and some more expensive, but I like to go "middle way". He came a week later with his mate, Sam. Fast, clean, tidy, super job

We have used Griffin plumbing several times both at home and at our village institute. Tom is always punctual and courteous his work is excellent. This time they excelled themselves. Our central heating boiler failed and on Tuesday morning I called. He came around at midday. He diagnosed it as beyond economic repair as it probable need a new circuit board, was corroded internally and 13 1/2 years old. He gave me a quote that evening which I accepted immediately. Sam & Tom fitted our new boiler on Friday. They are both friendly professional and very diligent. e.g. Sam would not go home until he had thoroughly bled the system and cleaned up. Called Tom this morning after a neighbour recommended him. Boiler not working when we got up so no heating no hot water on a very cold morning. Tom answered promptly very friendly and professional and I told him the problem. He came round within the hour, he was very professional from the start felt very covid safe and he explained the problem so I could understand. He replaced a part and came back later in the day to make sure it was working OK. Am so happy to now have heating and hot water the same day and from a very professional and friendly and honest young man. Will definitely be using Griffin plumbing again and will be having a new boiler installed in the near future. Tom came out late on a Saturday afternoon to our old and ailing boiler- no heating or hot water. He very clearly explained all the considerations around repair and replacement. We chose to replace the 12-year-old boiler and by teatime, on Monday we had a new boiler in place and every last bit of mess had been cleared up and taken away. We've never been so warm and we have loads of hot water. Very happy.
