We ordered a boiler direct from the manufacturer and were steered to Griffin as an approved installer of their products. We therefore expected a solid service. Tom surpassed our expectations. He arrived bang on time on a Saturday morning despite quite a drive to get to us, and immediately leapt into action. He worked efficiently and tidily and we knew we were in safe hands. Before leaving he made sure we had all the necessary documentation for our new boiler and took time to go over the controls as well as throwing in some anecdotes for good measure. He was an absolute joy and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

After researching heating boilers Griffin came up as a registered fitter for the one we had decided on. Impressed with the website I contacted Tom who was on holiday at the time but still found time to respond to my message. The next day we had a provisory quote followed by a full quote a few days later. Tom was friendly and professional from the start. He showed respect for our property, he was neat and thorough and tidied up after himself. He was happy to discuss a problem with our system and check it out for us, fixing it before he left. Tom is obviously knowledgeable about his trade and experienced and gave us useful knowledge and advice. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and would definitely be happy using his service again.

Contacted Griffin Plumbing and Heating Engineers and they came out the next day to give me a quote. Tom new what he was talking about and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He emailed me with a 'Fixed price guarentee' that same night,which I was very happy with. The new boiler and other work was completed within a few weeks to my total satisfaction. Sam who was also part of the Griffin team was also excellent with a friendly profesional attitude and left everywhere very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this company.

We have just had our boiler serviced by Tom, who did an excellent job. We had debated whether to replace our old boiler, but are so glad we did as it is so much more efficient and therefore money saving. We feel that it has paid for itself already and of course, has several year’s warranty left. As before Tom was polite, friendly and thorough with his tests to check its competence. We were very pleased with the way Griffin Plumbers created a wc out of our old airing cupboard. Therefore we engaged them for a second time when we wanted our bathroom completely refurbished. The help and advice we got regarding layout and product options was very useful. The work commenced on the day we expected them and despite some supply issues the work was completed on schedule due to the diligence of the firm. We were kept informed of progress on a daily basis. All of the work was completed to a high standard and with an eye for detail. This includes the re-plastering which was done by an associate of the firm. All works were completed within the budget initially quoted. Once again, we are very pleased with the result and feel fortunate that we engaged them in the first place. We have no hesitation in recommending this firm who go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction.

For phase 1 we had a new boiler fitted as well as two new radiators and some additional thermostatic radiator valves. Phase two was the conversion of our old airing cupboard to well appointed wc. Tom sourced all the items required himself at no extra cost to ourselves. He also undertook and completed aspects that I had expected to have to do myself. He didn't charge any extra for this. At the end of each working day he took the time to make sure that we were completely satisfied with each stage. We are very pleased with everything that has been done. We will be employing the firm again as we also need to completely refurbish our bathroom. On the basis of our experience we have no hesitation in recommending Griffin Plumbing.

I contacted Tom at Griffin Plumbing as I had an old oil system boiler that needed replacing. After much discussion we decided that converting to a combi system would be best and Tom quoted for the work that needed doing. The price was right given the amount of work needed and Tom was also able to arrange interest free credit at no extra charge to cover the work. The job was carried out on time and my property was left spotlessly clean after the work. I would highly recommend Griffin Plumbing for any future work, not only for their quality and professionalism, but they are also a decent team and very easy to get on with. 10/10.

Tom came out immediately to fix an old problem with our boiler and seemed a very nice chap, he wore a mask and took his shoes off and did a great job, so we decided to have him fit our new boiler. We found his quote to be very competitive. It was an external oil boiler which was fitted in one day with minimum mess. We felt he was very trustworthy so left him and his colleague and went out for the day. When we got back the job was finished and he explained how to use the wireless thermostat. It's very difficult when your 15 year old boiler breaks down and you realise to fix it would cost @ £400. This is what happened to me. I'm a retired engineer and understand heating systems, but for those that don't and their boiler breaks down unexpectedly it can be a daunting decision to make. I decided it to make more sense to get a new boiler. I researched the web to choose the best boiler for my needs and found that Worcester Bosch are probably the best make. So I had made my decision on the make of boiler, now the really hard part, finding a Trustworthy engineer to supply and fit the boiler. I'm fairly new to the area so couldn't really go by word of mouth. So it was back to the trusted web to trawl through all of my options. I am very comprehensive in my research and by the fact of reading so many excellent reviews I opted to try Griffin plumbing and heating. I rang in the morning explaining the situation and was amazed that he could come and see me that afternoon. Thomas Griffin arrived at the agreed time ( With mask on ). He spent about an hour with me thoroughly explaining which type of Worcester Bosch boiler and associated controls I needed. I live in a park home so it had to be LPG. I was very impressed when told the boiler came with a 10 year guarantee. Thomas gave me a quote to supply and fit. It was a fair quote, I had seen cheaper quotes and some more expensive, but I like to go "middle way". He came a week later with his mate, Sam. Fast, clean, tidy, super job

We have used Griffin plumbing several times both at home and at our village institute. Tom is always punctual and courteous his work is excellent. This time they excelled themselves. Our central heating boiler failed and on Tuesday morning I called. He came around at midday. He diagnosed it as beyond economic repair as it probable need a new circuit board, was corroded internally and 13 1/2 years old. He gave me a quote that evening which I accepted immediately. Sam & Tom fitted our new boiler on Friday. They are both friendly professional and very diligent. e.g. Sam would not go home until he had thoroughly bled the system and cleaned up. Called Tom this morning after a neighbour recommended him. Boiler not working when we got up so no heating no hot water on a very cold morning. Tom answered promptly very friendly and professional and I told him the problem. He came round within the hour, he was very professional from the start felt very covid safe and he explained the problem so I could understand. He replaced a part and came back later in the day to make sure it was working OK. Am so happy to now have heating and hot water the same day and from a very professional and friendly and honest young man. Tom came out late on a Saturday afternoon to our old and ailing boiler- no heating or hot water. He very clearly explained all the considerations around repair and replacement. We chose to replace the 12-year-old boiler and by teatime, on Monday we had a new boiler in place and every last bit of mess had been cleared up and taken away. We've never been so warm and we have loads of hot water. Very happy.

Griffin Plumbing fitted a new shower for us recently. Tom Griffin spent some time outlining our options before installing the shower and gave us advice, in advance of the installation date, regarding the type of shower that would best meet our needs. On the day the whole process was very slick. We were shown the new shower prior to installation to make sure we liked it as Covid had prevented us actually going to a showroom. The old shower was removed, the new pipes were installed without even a chip to the existing tiles and the shower unit fastened to the wall. We were then given a quick lesson on using the shower including advice on how to clean it. The bathroom was left immaculate. We were both very impressed by the job that Griffin Plumbing did not only the professional and technical side of things but the pride shown in the work undertaken & an obvious commitment to top quality customer service. Will never use any other plumber from now on.

After our oil supplier let us down, we were left with an oil boiler that had run dry. Tom at Griffin Plumbing and Heating responded to my call early on a Saturday morning and was here in the space of a few hours. He was professional, courteous and respectful of COVID roles (wearing PPE etc). He fixed the boiler with little fuss and even spotted another error we were not aware of. Absolutely exceptional service and I would have paid twice the price he charged. I cannot recommend it enough!

From the first phone call, Tom gave me confidence we were getting quality professional service. When Dad's boiler packed in during the recent cold spell (Dad is 85) Tom made time to call round the same day to test and try a quick fix, and gave us an open and honest assessment of options for repair or replacement. We had contacted Worcester for their yearly servicing but we were told that due to the pandemic the company would not be able to send an engineer unless the boiler is within warranty but asked us to contact the local Worcester engineer and provided us with a link. The first on the list was Griffin plumbing. I contacted the company on 13th January and we were given a date for the 5th of February at 4 pm. I was told rightly, due to the ongoing pandemic and lockdown he would not be able to attend any earlier. I texted them few days before to remind them of the pre-scheduled appointment for boiler servicing. I did not receive a reply so thought someone will attend. Unfortunately no one attended and no message was conveyed that they would not be able to attend.

An exceptional service from first contact to finished job. Professional but friendly; sound advice, very prompt service, installed replacement boiler in half a day, with no mess. What more could you want? Our lodge is warm, boiler beautifully quiet, and I've even cracked the fiendish programmer... Only problem is that our home is 100 miles south of here, but Tom would even consider coming down to install another boiler there, providing he isn't too busy - which, given the quality of service is hardly surprising! I had the pleasure of finding Tom online, we had numerous quotations from other tradesman and all were roughly the same. Being that people are now watching their pennies, we decided to see if anyone could give us a better quote. The quote Tom gave us was great and wondered if because of the lower quotation, that the workmanship wouldn't be up to the standard the others gave. Right off the bat, he came across very very pleasant, professional and you could tell he knew his stuff. He advised us accordingly and we booked him in. Nothing was too much trouble, he gave a demonstration of the boiler and how the system worked, also said that if we had any problems to contact him at any time and if he wasn't available, he would contact us back. Needless to say, we have used Tom on more than one occasion and cannot stress enough how genuine and nice his manner is but also the workmanship he does. If you need a one stop shop for your plumbing needs, you don't need to look further than Tom (Griffin Plumbing). I would advise booking him in advance as others are getting to know how good of a job he does and he seems to be constantly busy, which can only be a great sign. I have used the services a number of times now, from fitting a new boiler through fitting new radiators, a new shower and even a new kitchen. I am so relieved that I found this firm to install a new boiler after my very old one died just before Christmas . Tom and Sam are friendly, approachable and efficient. They worked amazingly hard to complete the job in one day which included removing the old water tank from the loft and fitting new pipes under the floorboards. Tom and his team completely refurbished 4 bathrooms for us in our self catering cottage. He was helpful from the start, advising on the design and following through to a very high standard.
