In August 2023 we decided to get our roof redone (having already had two quotes during the Pandemic) : new roof, gutters, facias, soffits. We picked Harrow Roofing as Ryan Harry was very responsive and straightforward. He was keen that everything was done by the book, Building Regs, etc. He checked our loft and was very patient with all our questions. Because we had already done most of our homework with the two earlier quotes, we felt confident about proceeding quickly. The work started late August with Darren and Chris. There was a heatwave at the time but they both worked fantastically hard throughout, and Darren also was very patient with our queries. We could see the leadwork was beautifully done compared to our neighbour’s recent reroof. We wanted clay tiles rather than concrete, and the roof now looks lovely, like it would have done when first built. They also refixed the original ridge tiles and obtained some extra ones from a nearby house which was discarding theirs. Unfortunately part of our chimney stack broke off during the work as it was leaning away at the top. Ryan had joined the other 2 on the roof that day and he was able to deal with the issue straightaway, putting up a temporary support, and arranging for a bricksmith, extra scaffolding & platform. The problem was dealt with most impressively. It delayed the roof work by about a week which must have affected Ryan’s own work schedule. We are extremely pleased with the quality of work.

The work carried out on my roof was done to a very high standard and done by highly experienced roofers with over 30 years of experience. The roofers were methodical and trims were neatly tidied up. Brilliant job finished to a very high standard.

Harrow Roofing came out on-site to inspect a suspected leaking gutter. We had a damp patch on the second-floor internal wall not on the ceiling. Harrow Roofing used a drone and showed a damaged roof on a smartphone, showing the roof needed replacing, which had been in situ for 30 years. We suggested fiberglass replacement, and we were advised by Harrow Roofing that they replace a fiberglass roof nearly every week. because they crack and there is no flexibility in this material. Harrow Roofing recommended replacing it with a felt roof., if it lasts another 30 years we will be happy. We agreed on the quotation including scaffolding, the work was carried out on time and we are very happy with the service. We will definitely recommend it to others. The work was very pleasant and professional.

A large flat roof with GRP had failed so Harrow Roofing did a complete change of decking and flat roof to three layer felt. Ryan gave good advice and a fair estimate for the work with the option of a 10 year insurance backed guarantee. His team completed the work efficiently, left the site tidy and the roof looks great. The work was done to the original estimate. They acted in a professional manner with good communication at all times.
