I had a combi boiler installed by Heat Tech Chorleywood, replacing an older boiler and water tank. An excellent experience from first to last. A very thorough survey, followed by a clear and professional quotation from Mark; responsive and intelligent customer relations; and a team of installers (Sapphire and Edin) who absolutely knew what they were doing, took an obvious pride in the quality of their work, didn't cut any corners, worked their socks off, and did a superb job. On the basis of this experience, Heat Tech Chorleywood gets my enthusiastic recommendation.

I have used Heat Tech since 2006. As always a professional and friendly service, always on time and do first time what was asked for. Excellent value for money.

Boiler broke down, no heating or hot water. Heat Tech reviewed the problem within 48 hours and diagnosed the issue which was fully explained. They then proceeded to book us into the earliest slot a week later when the problem was resolved. They were highly professional, efficient and good value for money. We would definitely recommend Heat Tech and will be booking them for our annual service.

Had a pipe leak in my downstairs ceiling crawl space. Heat Tech responded to my request the next day, located the leak and repaired it. From the time I contacted them (voicemail) to when it was repaired was ~24 hours. They were very reasonably priced and friendly and I would have no concerns recommending them.

My mother had a problem with her heating/water, lives on her own and is elderly. I was told that heat tech was very good and reliable. I phoned Mark and he sorted the problem within two days, as soon as he could. My mother was delighted and his work was excellent and he was polite and tidy. The problem was fixed within 2 hours. We would recommend without doubt.

Mark was recommended to me in 2019 and since then he has carried out a variety of jobs for me, including boiler service and repair, replacement shower and leaking taps. Mark has a very competent team who are easy to deal with and get on with the job - really good value for money.

On Thursday we had the power off all day for our electrician to update our control panel. It was the coldest day of the year so we couldn't wait to switch the boiler back on when the work was complete. Unfortunately, the boiler failed to function. Mark responded to our call that evening but couldn't identify the problem over the phone. At 9.00 the next morning his team arrived and got the boiler working again. They were polite and efficient and adhered to the Covid guidelines. We have a warm house again, for which we are extremely grateful.

We were delighted with the speed and quality of the work, removing hot water cylinder and associated plumbing, fitting new thermostatic valves on all my radiators fitting the new boiler and commissioning the system.

Used Heat Tech for the first time for a boiler service and will certainly use them again. I called Mark Ockenden of Heat Tech Services on the morning of June 1st about a leak from a pipe in the kitchen. He arrived with colleague about two hours later, & solved the problem by repairing the pipe quickly & efficiently. I was very pleased to have the job completed so quickly.

The inspection, testing and maintenance was conducted very professionally and under Covid rules well handled.

I remain grateful to Mark for somehow squeezing me into his busy schedule at short notice when our gas boiler broke down last week. But equally appreciative of the highly efficient, thoroughly professional service received. Would definitely recommend.

We engaged Heat Tech Services to replace our old boiler with a new one. The service provided was exemplary in all respects. In fact, the new boiler was delivered to us on the previous evening, ensuring an early start on the Thursday. Sapphire arrived promptly and her work - with the able assistance of Seb - was first class in all regards. She quickly found solutions to a couple of minor problems and completed the fitting speedily, neatly and efficiently, and left the work area spotless. Moreover, she explained the working of the boiler clearly and patiently and was unfailingly pleasant and polite. I will have no hesitation in engaging this company for future work.

This is the first time I have used this company for my annual boiler service. Sapphire was extremely efficient and carefully explained the work carried out during the service. I was impressed by her attitude.

We contacted Marc at Heat tech to a boiler service at my mothers house through personal recommendation (my mother’s neighbour). Marc was very accommodating in setting up the appointment and the fact that my mother is not comfortable with people in her home. Sapphire, the technician, turned up on time and set to work immediately on servicing the boiler. We hardly noticed she was there and upon completion she explained what she had done and how we should pay. This worked extremely well for us, the boiler is now safe for the winter and my 94 year old mother remained totally unstressed by this process.

Heat Tech installed a new Vaillant boiler for us. Following a site visit, their initial quotation was issued very quickly, was in a clear format with various options available, and was very reasonable. We were able to book in the work very quickly. The young lady who carried out the work was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. My wife, in particular, was mightily impressed that a woman carried out the work! After the installation, we noticed that some air had built up in the radiator system, which we understand is quite normal when a new boiler is installed. Heat Tech returned very quickly to release the air etc. They also registered our guarantee for us directly with Vaillant. All in all, we are very happy indeed with the service offered by Heat Tech.

We needed the hob gas pipe moving to allow a new electric oven to be fitted. Phoned Mark, and he managed to fit us in and send one of his engineers around the next day. She was super efficient, and when she had finished helped us with the new (electric) oven. Thanks for the really quick and helpful service.

I Whatapped Mark on Tuesday and by 10am on Wednesday morning the problem was fixed. A fast and efficient service as ever.

Discover reason for poor water flow from bath and basin taps in main and ensuite bathrooms of a new build development. It emerged the fault was with the taps themselves - wrong specification for hard water area - both blocked with limescale and narrow-gauge Flexi hoses restricting the flow. Removal of diffusers improved flow significantly in one tap but didn't eliminate the problem in the other. Tap judged faulty - needs to be replaced. In the interim plumber used his initiative by switching the better performing tap to main suite and relegating the faulty tap to the less used bathroom pending sourcing of new fitments. The bath tap, due to the position in which it has been installed, is inaccessible for maintenance so was advised to refer back to the construction company for remedial action. The engineer stuck to the brief until he had provided a working solution and a recommendation for future action. Subsequently HeatTech followed up with a phone enquiry to ensure customer was happy with the outcome and to endorse the engineer's recommendations. Full marks for customer service. The cost was very reasonable. I use Heat Tech for annual boiler maintenance and have every confidence in their ability to deal with other issues as evidenced above.

Very professional and on time fir appointment. Explained all that was needed. Boiler serviced and a new water pipe put in. Which was placed neatly. They were very friendly and helpful. Very pleased with their work. Would highly recommend the company.
