We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

Our central heating had stopped working. We called Mark and after answering a few questions he said he would come round that afternoon and bring with him the parts he felt would be needed. He arrived promptly and after investigation replaced our timer control which resolved the problem. Mark was polite, knowledgeable and we would not hesitate to call him again if we had a boiler or plumbing problem

I've known Heat Tech for several years and both Mark and Andy have done work at my house - in particular servicing the boiler, fixing a leaking valve on the Megaflow and replacing the in-line scale inhibitor. At the flat, apart from regular boiler service, they have also fixed the bedroom radiator by unclogging the pipework. They are both knowledgeable and professional in their attitude. I would recommend them highly - they definitely always do a good quality job and leave the place neat and tidy.

We are SO relieved to find a heating engineer that is honest and professional. Just before Christmas, we very nearly fell victim to an unscrupulous plumber who insisted that a new boiler was our only option when ours failed. The hard sell made us very uncomfortable so friends recommended we call Mark. Thank goodness we did! Mark was able to identify the problem immediately - and very kindly took the time to explain how he was going to fix it. Thanks to his knowledge and skill, our boiler is now up and running and there was no question we needed a new one! I'm so grateful for Mark's honesty and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Mark and his team fitted a new boiler and hot water tank in four days. They were prompt, tidy, and explained all the work they were doing. Prior to the work, mark had explained the alternative solutions. Whilst at the top end of the estimates I had, I would not hesitate to recommend them as the result has given me an excellent system.

Would recommend using Mark and his team. Mark came and discussed options on new heating system explaining to this "old lady " in great understandable detail. The work was done while I was away and I came back to a very warm clean house. Thank you George. Mark again explained the running of the boiler. Mark is a very pleasant person to deal with. Mark was recommended to us a few years ago by another of his clients and we've been contacting him for all our plumbing needs since then. From fitting new boilers, to repairing redundant (but still live) mains supply pipes leaking into our kitchen, to replacing troublesome toilet seats, his service is always completely satisfactory, perfectly prompt in an emergency and very pleasant. I found Mark on the Which Trusted Traders' site and rang him for help. I had been left without hot water for a week after the company I have insurance with for maintenance on our central heating, supposedly serviced our boiler. Their engineer returned to my house four times and each time failed to remedy the problem. Mark spotted what was wrong almost immediately and the hot water was back within the hour. He even fixed a problem with my outside tap while he was here. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Needless to say I have cancelled the contract with the heating insurance company and I will be using HeatTech for all future maintenance. Megan S.

Clean and efficient job well done. The problem was a mysterious leak which will need on going monitoring. Mark identified the possible cause and we will see what happens. He fitted in two visits around his busy schedule and repaired toilet cistern whilst he was here. I would definitely recommend him for all plumbing and heating work.

I had Mark round to service the boiler, repair a radiator valve and improve the condensate pipe run. He and his team arrived on time, completed the work thoroughly and with care and were very polite. A leaking hot water storage tank left us without any hot water on the last weekend before Christmas. After calling Mark (whom has done work for us before) on a Saturday afternoon he was with us early evening same day and sorted the problem quickly. With a new valve fitted we were up and running again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark - hugely knowledgeable and gets the job done without fuss.

This job was a bit of a nightmare for Mark as the original extensive wiring was shambolic and had to be replaced . In addition one of the new thermostats proved to be faulty and an existing valve had seized. Nevertheless Mark soldiered on and finished the job to his usual high standard.

I have been using Heat-Tech for installation and servicing of my central heating boiler since 2013. Also general plumbing. We had a boiler and hot water cylinder replacement, eight radiators replaced and various other central heating bits and bobs sorted out. All this work was completed in four days by Mark and his excellent HeatTech team. I have had work done by Mark’s company before, so I was confident that this job would be done professionally to the highest standard, and so it was. Mark Ockendon’s encyclopaedic knowledge of central heating systems and problem solving came in very useful, in diagnosing and explaining the existing faults that became evident during this installation. I highly recommend HeatTech heating engineers. Well worth the money.

Heat Tech quoted for a new central heating radiator and delivered the requested one a couple of days before the installation. I did not like to size and style of it. Mark Ockenden collected it without quibbling and fitted a much better one on the scheduled date. The work was neat and furthermore his invoice was less than his quotation to account for the alternative radiator. He has done several other heating & plumbing jobs for me in a proper, professional way. I recommend Heat Tech.

I have used HeatTech for several years now and they always arrive as agreed, perform an excellent and efficient job and clear up properly when they have finished. The most recent work was to fit Thermostats to 7 Radiators. Sapphire and her excellent Team arrived on time, used freezing equipment to avoid draining the system and risk of airlocks, fitted the Thermostats, checked the system and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I have no hesitation in recommending this Company for any Heating and Plumbing work large or small. In an Industry with "Cowboys" it is reassuring to find a trader of this quality.

Heat Tech have visited my home twice. On 9th December they serviced my Combi boiler. A problem was identified, which was explained to me. Heat tech ordered a new part for the boiler and contacted me as soon as they had received it. They returned on 14th to fit the new part. Their engineers were punctual, efficient and courteous. They were clean workers and left no mess. I can highly recommend this company. Both the engineers on site and office management and administration was faultless.

I had an issue with my boiler/heating system that my UW engineer could fix and he advised an expensive power flush. 5 minutes on the phone to Heat Tech Service and they had the issue pin pointed to a pump. They gave me great confidence if I cant resolve this through my insurance I will willingly use them.

We had a leak somewhere under the kitchen floor but did not know what it was. We were unable to turn the water off. Mark arrived when he said he would and found the problem. We were delighted that he managed to fix the leak without taking up the floor despite the fact that this meant he had to work in a small and uncomfortable space. He cleaned up thoroughly, including taking out some broken concrete rubble left by a previous contractor. Clearly, we are very pleased!
