Our hot water system was on the blink. HeatTech carried out a very detailed investigation, very promptly. It was a very frustrating and intermittent problem. They made several visits and in the end we decided that the boiler was really past help. They installed a new boiler very quickly indeed. Throughout the process they always responded to queries/texts from us very speedily, even out of hours. We have used HeatTech for many years and would thoroughly recommend them

Used Heat Tec over Christmas period as heating was not working. Engineer (Dave) came out on 27 Dec., changed motor. However, problem soon returned, and he made 2 more visits, very promptly after my call. Diagnosed and sorted an elusive fault on 6 Jan. All is in perfect order. Very pleasant, ever ready to help, any time. Fair and reasonable cost. Call handlers also extremely patient and polite. Will be our regular service engineers in future.

James and George had the dubious pleasure of fitting a new toilet pan and bath mixer tap to ancient plumbing (lead pipes) as well as removing some redundant pipework and replacing the monoblock tap in the kitchen. They were polite, friendly, did a great job and were scrupulous in cleaning up and disposing of waste. I'll certainly be using Heat-Tech again when I next need any plumbing or heating work.

Mark was recommended by a friend a few years ago and he has since fitted a number of new and replacement central heating radiators. I had always found Mark and his team to offer a very efficient and reliable service and earlier this year decided to ask him to take over our boiler service as our existing contract had become ridiculously expensive. The service took place last week and it was quite a revelation to see the thoroughness of the work carried out compared to the work carried out previously.

Mark is a revelation. After being mucked around by plumber after plumber, to finally find someone who does such novel things as 'turn up when they agree to' and 'do the job that they said that they will do' is a revolutionary experience for me. Really, he should not be called a plumber but something grander. Maybe a 'Water and gas containment and direction engineer'. Mark was presented with a range of problems ranging from a boiler service that was three years overdue to a shower that had leaked ever since it was installed (causing damp in the room below). In all, he had more than half a dozen problems to attend to over his first two visits and to say that everything went perfectly would not be true. But that just adds to the experience. Things in life go wrong, but it is how we deal with them that is the mark (excuse the pun) of what and who we are. Mark dealt with a problem when one thing didn't go right and instead of making an excuse, said "I have mucked up" and proceeded to put it right. I strongly recommend Heat Tech for anyone who wants not only wants a competent Water and Gas Containment and Direction Engineer but also expects good timekeeping, a responsible attitude towards his work and a fair reasonable price.

When I managed to flood the house at 5.40 on a Sunday afternoon Mark was on the case in minutes. He has done previous work for us and we have always trusted his judgement on all work necessary. I can't praise him highly enough.

Great service from Mark and Heat Tech over the past couple of weeks to fix a faulty combi boiler. I received an immediate response to my initial enquiry and a visit was booked for the same week. Some parts needed to be ordered and these were fitted the following week, completely fixing the issues we'd been experiencing. Mark has also been great at suggesting options for ways to improve our set up and avoid potential issues in the future. We used Heat Tech after putting out a request on Streetlife (as we wanted to use a local company) and we were so pleased we did. Our Hob had been leaking gas which resulted in it being cut off by British Gas, so it was imperative to replace it. The level of service was second to none, Mark was extremely helpful, reliable,efficient and the cost was competitive, I wouldn't hesitate to use the company again and we were able to Keep it Local.

Heat Tech came to us via recommendation, They replaced our OLD boiler system and added a radiator, while we went on holiday. The job was completed before we returned. Have used Heat Tech for several years after being recommended by a friend and have not been disappointed, they are polite courteous and on time. Have just been rescued by him after a switch failure, much to the relief of my wife, just as the cold weather sets in.

Everything about Heat Tech left me feeling pleased that we decided to invite Mark and his team to help us out.
