We are a Gas Safe™ Registered company based in Chorleywood Hertfordshire providing domestic heating and plumbing services to clients throughout Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Amersham, the Chalfont’s and surrounding local areas in Herts, Middlesex and Bucks.

I have used HeatTech for several years now and they always arrive as agreed, perform an excellent and efficient job and clear up properly when they have finished. The most recent work was to fit Thermostats to 7 Radiators. Sapphire and her excellent Team arrived on time, used freezing equipment to avoid draining the system and risk of airlocks, fitted the Thermostats, checked the system and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I have no hesitation in recommending this Company for any Heating and Plumbing work large or small. In an Industry with "Cowboys" it is reassuring to find a trader of this quality.

Very easy booking on the phone. Engineer arrived on time and explained what was work was being carried out. We had a boiler and hot water cylinder replacement, eight radiators replaced and various other central heating bits and bobs sorted out. All this work was completed in four days by Mark and his excellent HeatTech team. I have had work done by Mark’s company before, so I was confident that this job would be done professionally to the highest standard, and so it was. Mark Ockendon’s encyclopaedic knowledge of central heating systems and problem solving came in very useful, in diagnosing and explaining the existing faults that became evident during this installation. I highly recommend HeatTech heating engineers. Well worth the money.

I have used a number of different plumbing companies and individuals over the years and I have to say that Mark at Heat Tech is a clear cut above everyone we have ever used before. I have been using Heat-Tech for installation and servicing of my central heating boiler since 2013. Also general plumbing. We noticed we have a leaking valve and unsure how long it had been like that, also unsure what to do in this Covid situation we called Mark and thankfully said he could come and fix it. Mark on a Saturday evening talked us through a leaking boiler issue we had. Via WhatsApp pictures and over the phone he gave us clear and concise instructions. Heating system was losing pressure in 2-3 hours, and Mark tried to seal the leak, which was believed to be in the concrete screed below wooden tiled flooring. This, in spite of 2 attempts, did not work, so we asked for the cheapest alternative, which was to have new piping to the 4 radiators affected. Because of the time of year we were anticipating it to be done in 4 weeks but, in fact, it was started within a week and completed in under 2 days. Mark was on a short holiday and his staff did the work very swiftly and we felt were efficient, tidy and charming. Mark came and checked the work done on his return. Finally, the cost of the work was good value for the time involved.

We have been using Heat Tech for many years now for servicing and repairs and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Mark and his team have always been completely dependable and very professional. My last issue was that our heating system broke down on Christmas Eve (just gone). Whilst I knew that this would be an awkward time to expect anyone from Heat Tech to do anything, Mark came round on his way back from Christmas shopping to have a look at the problem, which wasn't an easy one to diagnose or repair. Nonetheless, across three visits that day, Mark managed to solve the problem, replaced a faulty valve and get us up and running with a fully working heating system again over Christmas! Needless to say, we were delighted and relieved, and despite the time of year, the bill was very reasonable too. I would have no hesitation (and frequently do) to recommend Heat Tech to anyone that like us, truly values a reliable, professional and totally trustworthy service from any contractor.

My central heating failed. Mark, of Heat Tech Services Ltd., quickly identified what the problem was. Pipe blockage and pump failure. Replaced the guilty pipework, replaced the pump, and had me back up and running in less than two hours. Everything was left clean and tidy. A truly professional plumber.

Mark and his apprentice came to do the annual service of our boiler. They did a clean, professional job as usual and identified that the hot water thermostat wasn't working. Mark came two weeks later and fitted a new thermostat, meanwhile we used the immersion heater. Mark also cured a noisy vibration in the boiler cabinet. Once again we were completely satisfied with the service provided.

Mark attended my property with his assistant Ethan. The work was carried out efficiently and cleanly on the agreed day at the agreed time.
