A never end nightmare installation

Installation took only 3 hours and the result was .... 1. They removed an old pipe and "forgot" to seal it. It took 3 visits for them to fix it ( they should have replaced the pipe but they only applied some silicone). Downstairs neighbour property damaged twice. 2. One month later we noticed a gas leak, they repaired it after saying 'it was only a small one'. 3. They removed all the plaster when removing the old boiler (answer after complaining - check our policy) 4. They broke the back of all my kitchen cabinets to set up the condensate pipe. They did not even ask or mention it while in the flat. 5. Over a year later, we found that this condensate pipe was leaking, we fix it 6. Over 2 year later, we found another condensate pipe leak ....We are still investigating if we need to replace the whole pipe.

What a trouble free experience

I had previously reviewed what boiler would be best for my needs and property. I then got quotes for the best price on line and from local tradesmen. To my suprise Heatable had an extremely competitive price plus I could pick a date that was convenient for me. On the day of installation the guys came around 9 o'clock and was finished around 2 o'clock .Overall the experience was trouble free and really good value. I have now had the boiler for 6 months and still trouble free. I would highly recommend Heatable

Needed a replacement boiler as my 13 boiler was leaking and I decided it was past its usefulness. I researched a more energy efficient boiler and decided the best was a Worcester Bosch. Once I had checked out the price I looked for someone to supply and fit. The most competitive were Heatable who also had some excellent reviews. I went online at 16:00 and looked for a fitting date and lo and behold it was 9:00 the following day! I booked and paid for it and true to their word turned up with the boiler. Magnaclean and in-line water softener and fitted it in a few hours. Total satisfaction and would not hesitate to recommend not just Heatable but the Worcester Bosch boiler.

Appalling Installation and very poor aftercare

Having trusted Which's recommendation I arranged a new boiler installation from Heatable. Absolutely appalling initial installation. Scruffy, messy and significant damage caused by sub-contractors who couldn’t care less. Very slow to begin rectifying problems. Several revisits needed to resolve primary issues. From that point on, emails were ignored. The roof is now leaking from flu installation. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but overall, very poor.

I didn't have a good experience with Heatable. - The engineer was late, and didn't communicate until after the agreed arrival window had passed - The engineer was messy and careless. They left mortar sprayed over the walls and ceiling; were going to leave holes in the external wall until I asked them to fill them; stood on parts of the boiler during installation; did not install the products I had ordered and paid for; installed the thermostat receiver in a place where it wouldn't have worked; let a stranger into my home while I was out for half an hour, and allowed them to wait in my living room until I got back (someone who was looking for a room to rent); and finally asked if they could sign the completion documents on my behalf because their phone had run out of battery. - To their credit, Heatable did agree to refund the products which hadn't been installed and sent another engineer to replace the damaged cover and 'audit' the installation. This engineer told me the boiler should work OK but it had been installed messily with poor soldering. - At no point in a 20-minute conversation did Heatable offer an apology, until I suggested it might be appropriate. Even then, the aftersales agent was quite stroppy when I described the experience as an example of poor service, bizarrely maintaining they had provided a good service. I was attracted to Heatable by the offer of spreading the cost over time. I now wish I had found a local engineer and paid up front.

After researching many boilers and getting various quotes I decided on Heatable to replace my old boiler. They were the most helpful, practical and friendly when I needed advice on which boiler to go for and they were not at all pushy. Their prices were competitive. The information and communication upfront was clear and simple. They put me in touch with the local engineer who was to fit the boiler. He was amazing! He turned up on time, worked all day in a heatwave in my attic, covered his shoes, laid down dust cloths, left the workspace tidy and clean and patiently went through the control system at the end of the day until we understood it. Heatable stayed in touch and have contacted me since to check I am happy. The Worcester Bosch 4000 boiler has a ten year guarantee with the manufacturer but Heatable have told me not to hesitate to contact them first if anything goes wrong or I need advice. From start to finish, I cannot recommend this company enough.

Great service from start to finish, prompt, courteous, communicative, competitively priced and quality choice of boiler brands. Needed a new boiler urgently and usually when you don't have the time to hunt around for competitive prices - especially anything plumbing related - that's when you end up paying a premium. Heatable proved to be an exception not only were their prices really competitive but they didn't hang about, I made the first enquiry online on Sunday and I had a new boiler installed up and running by Tuesday! They kept me informed and checked with me that everything was suitable for the installation on the Monday so that their approved installer could complete the job on the day. Follow up calls ensued to make sure the boiler was working fine and that I had been happy with the service. To boot my boiler came with a 10yr parts warranty and they told me that should there be any issues in terms of boiler repairs to get in touch with them first and they would assist to ensure that the warranty is fulfilled. How good is that!
