We have used HeatCo for a number of years now. They have always been efficient and punctual, with excellent communication. Their customer service is outstanding, as is their standard of workmanship. Nothing is too much bother and you always get honest and reliable advice.

I am blown away by the service provided by Heatco. I was able to go onto their website and book an appointment online. Darren came at the allotted time and I had received my gas certificate by the time he had left. No chasing! It's a revelation!

We use HeatCo's HeatClub service which gives us a plumber / heating engineer on call and free boiler services. Darren did our annual boiler service yesterday and was great, as always. He arrived on time, carried out the service with minimum disruption for us, and sent us the service certificate immediately. A great service that we can rely on. Many thanks, once again!

Replacement of leaking boiler in an old vented system with a Greenstar combi boiler. Heatco we're always on time for each appointment ( note the booking system doesn't send an appointment reminder, so note or screen-shot your time from the booking page ) Joe and Darren worked professionally and efficiently to resolve our heating issues and fit the new system. They were both very pleasant to work with and took time to listen and discuss issues and solutions. When the old boiler gave-up suddenly, changing the urgency of the job, they were able to change plans and complete the job sooner than originally expected.

He was round on time, after checking the boiler I was pleased with the speed that my boiler was fixed and the friendly and reasonably priced service I received.

Shaun fitted the side back on our bath after the Aqualisa engineer had replaced our shower pump. It was an awkward job but he got it done and left everything looking as good as new. Great job!

I called Shaun out through HeatCo's Heat Club scheme, which gives us on-call access to a plumber and heating heating engineer whenever we need it for a monthly fee. It's an excellent deal and meant that when I needed help getting the side panel off the bath, I could book an appointment with HeatCo and Shaun arrived, bang on time, and quickly sorted out our problem. We have used HeatCo many times over the last 4 years from non-urgent plumbing/heating problems e.g. leaky tap to urgent problems such as an over flowing water tank in the loft. Joe and the team have always been responsive, friendly and efficient and dealt with problems, especially emergencies, speedily. They are also helpful at giving advice and don't sell you what you don't need! The HeatClub (paying a monthly subscription) is great and worth having for all the odd plumbing jobs that crop and includes a free boiler service annually. Thanks to Joe, Darren and the team!

I contacted Joe Waller on Sat 20 Jan as every time the boiler came on there was a banging noise - so loud that it woke me up in the middle of the night and I was afraid the whole thing would blow up so was without heating Sat and Sun. Joe was coming to the UK on Sunday and came round at lunchtime as arranged. He tested the boiler - all ok - unfortunately the banging/vibrating didn't happen whilst he was here. He thought it might be a faulty radiator valve as and assured me that the boiler wouldn't blow up - so the heating went back on. The banging occurred 3 times further and I identified which radiator valve was faulty. Job sorted by Tues late morning. Excellent service from a hard working and knowledgable individual

I've used HeatCo for a number of years now and have nothing but praise for them. Recently two of my toilets broke and Joe managed to source the difficult to find replacement parts, have the couriered over and made sure I had functioning loos by the weekend! Very much appreciated. HeatCo staff are always friendly, professional and courteous. They always turn up as expected and I trust the advice they give (the online booking system is great!). To be honest HeatCo have got me out of a plumbing pickle several times, for which I'm very grateful. Over the past few years they have deal with blocked showers, leaking taps and radiators, flush issues, replaced a boiler, shower temperature problems, and much more. It's very reassuring to have their number in my phone.

Engineer arrived promptly. Boiler check carried out and nut tightened on hot water cylinder to stop slight leak. All on schedule and budget. Engineer was polite and left no mess.

Darren messaged us to advise his expected arrival time which was 15mins earlier than booked and helped us prepare. He arrived as promised and without our asking, removed his footwear and greeted us in a friendly manner. There was no delay in starting the work as he went straight to the boiler to carry out the service. When he finished he moved seamlessly to the first fire laying down carpet protection and cleaning up after him. The second fire was similarly handled during which it was pleasing to have conversation while he worked. Unbeknown to us he had also cleared a slow running bathroom sink whilst working on the boiler, which was a welcome bonus. The certificates were emailed to us promptly after he left, and we look forward to receiving HeatCo at the next service.

They have an online appointment system and usually I can get one within a week for non urgent stuff, and they come out quickly for urgent things. If you subscribe to their Heat Club you get your boiler serviced yearly AND you can call upon them for all your little plumbing and gas problems. MUCH better than those Home Emergency plans, because nothing is too small with Heatco.- Highly recommended 👍

A fantastic service, I had booked the boiler service online at a time and date that was convenient to me. The engineer turned up on time and knew who I was and what he was there to do. I was impressed with the knowledge and understanding of the boiler, the sharing of details/results regarding the service and his open and honest opinion of the boiler. He was able to give information regarding the efficiency of the boiler and his opinion on how this rates against new boilers and alternative heating and hot water supply systems. I subscribe to Heatco’s Heat Club, which includes an annual boiler service, plus free labour on small plumbing jobs. Darren completed the annual service on my boiler, as in previous years, and provided a certificate. He also cleared the sink blockage and cleaned up tidily. A few years ago I needed a new boiler. quotes were obtained and Heatco came out with the best price. Not unrealistically cheap or price-gougingly expensive. Not only that, but during the initial survey they properly scoped out my requirements and made a suggestion for a more appropriate boiler for our house. I believe that this saved me money on a boiler that was appropriately sized for my home and has saved me money ever since by using less gas. The install was very tidy and I've had fault free operation of my boiler ever since. The team are super polite, friendly and get the job done with no mess. They were so good that I used them again when my parents needed a new boiler recently. Again, they turned up bang on time, installed an appropriate boiler for their needs. They helped get the system balanced and have come back for a post install service. They appear to be trusted enough by the manufacturers that they are able to offer the longest warranty on the boilers. The entire team are great. Polite, on time, efficient, tidy and know what they are doing. Just what you need from a Heating and plumbing company.

I happen to be physically disabled and use a wheelchair. My boiler stopped working at about 4pm one afternoon and since I find it very difficult to keep warm, I was desperate to get the heating fixed as soon as possible. I rang Heatco and they were literally with me in about 30 minutes. In the event it was a simple fault to fix, but I just can't thank the guys at Heatco enough. Very highly recommended!

HeatCo initially installed our Bosch GreenStar boiler 10 years ago in 2013 and their professionalism was such that we have had them back every year since to service it. Their charges are no more or less than other service engineers out there but it is because of the care they take while inside our home and their attention to detail while maintaining our heating system makes us continue to use them to service our boiler.

Firstly, you can book a slot online that suits you, which is a clear time saver. Darren arrived perfectly on time and was extremely professional and efficient. He was able to check our gas lines, complete a full boiler service and fix an issue with our gas fireplace. Darren was also generous with his advice and opinions on other heating matters that we enquired on. Many thanks for the great service and we will be engaging Darren again.

We used HeatCo to service our boiler, which had a fault with the circuit board. They serviced the boiler, then returned a few hours later with a new circuit board and control knobs. They only charged for the parts (above the standard service cost for our boiler). Really reasonable - no extra labour charge for replacing the faulty parts. I have used the company a number of times now and have always found them to be extremely honest and professional. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. They are also easy to get out at short notice. One last thing - they contact you via text when they are on their way. Great communication.

Easy to book an appointment online. Darren phoned to say was running late before the appointment time and checked this would not be a problem for me. Diagnosed problem faulty valve, and got the system working. Provisionally booked an appointment the following day to do the work, subject to acceptance of the quote, which I received half an hour later. Said he would phone if able to come earlier which he did, replaced the faulty part and got the system working. Clean and polite and answered all my questions. Had a brief chat about another issue which I hope they can help with.

After having my old meters changed to smart meters, the gas meter failed the tightness test. Engineer could not find the fault. Gas was switched off. I left a message with Heatco and they quickly replied. Next day before 09.00 Darren arrived. He quickly found the fault and repaired straight away. Joes team are amazing! We needed an emergency boiler replacement which they sorted straight away. Hassle-free and reliable. Really friendly guys and do top-quality work! A previous plumber couldn’t fix what heatco managed to fix in a day! We also had some complications with pipes being blocked and HeatCo came back and spent the whole morning fixing - they didn’t charge us anything for this. HeatCo fitted our Worcester Bosch boiler back in 2013 and have serviced it annually ever since. HeatCo made it clear that the boiler can be serviced by other companies but we found them so good that we decided to stay with the company we trust. On every occasion, be it installation or annual servicing, HeatCo have completed the job thoroughly and I have no problems recommending them as a 5 star choice.

Darren has been called to our property to fix a number of plumbing emergencies due to the age of the property and it’s plumbing. He is an absolutely brilliant and highly skilled trades-person who has quickly identified the root cause and remedied the outstanding issues quickly and cost-effectively. I searched Trusted Traders for a new local gas safe registered plumber after the previous local plumber I had used retired. All I can say is that my experience of HeatCo is absolutely in line with the many other positive reviews. My initial phone call and email to HeatCo was responded to very promptly. Booking online was convenient and easy, and Darren was punctual, courteous and explained the issues with, and proposed solutions to, the two different issues with my central heating very clearly. The issues were then fixed at a follow up appointment at my convenience. Invoice settlement can be done online and is also convenient and easy. I am really impressed with the way this company is run, and the work done by Darren. Going forwards, I am so pleased I know who to turn to for my future boiler servicing and other plumbing needs!

My central heating pump burnt out so a replacement was needed. A call to Heatco resulted in getting an engineer very promptly. Darren came and we discussed the necessity to change the pump. I agreed and fortunately, he had a suitable replacement in his van. Within an hour he had finished the job and got our heating back on again - may I say at this point both my wife and I are pensioners. Darren came over as a very helpful and sympathetic engineer.

I have been using HeatCo's services for a number of years now. I have met three of their people over this time and all of them have provided excellent service and workmanship. Recently I used another firm for a side job and actually realised there was an error in their work but Darren from HeatCo diagnosed it immediately, ordered a part and sorted it out within a few days. He also gave our boiler an annual service which we have done like clockwork by HeatCo. As an aside, HeatCo replaced a boiler for me a few years ago. I was involved in a disastrous process with my former insurance company. They sent out engineers to mend a small problem with our old boiler - they actually ended up making the situation worse due to a lack of understanding about my "commerical" named but domestic rated boiler. HeatCo really saved the day. The firm contracted by the insurers ended up asking HeatCo to intervene as they realised they were making a real mess of the boiler. The situation deteriorated with the insurer and we ended up needing a new boiler fast. We have been without heat and water for a few weeks at this point and Joe had been invaluable in the process with diagnostic checks and advice on the matter. Dene from HeatCo gave up a day of his weekend to come and sort it out for us so we didn't have to wait a day longer to warm up! We have had heat and hot water ever since! They really went above and beyond for us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this team! Thank you from us.

I had a boiler service with HeatCo for the first time on 1st March 2022. I was a little worried as I didn't receive an email confirmation but Mr Dudey arrive promptly and conducted a full service quickly and efficiently. He provided advice at the end on things to keep an eye on and immediately emailed my invoice and service certificate. This was such a refreshing change from my previous experience with other suppliers who kept cancelling or not turning up. I found the work value for money and I will certainly be using HeatCo again. We went through a long list of potential suppliers for this job and got the full range of 'advice' and prices. We eventually contacted someone on Neighbours Next Door who already had asked for recommendations and asked who they had used and she whole-heartedly recommended Heatco. Joe came round and talked through the issues clearly and sensibly and we agreed the work and price. The job was carried out a couple of weeks later. The guys were brilliant. Clean, tidy, knowledgeable, considerate and absolutely professional and completed the installation in the agreed time. They were also happy to return to resolve a couple of issues immediately. Putting in a new boiler system is not a trivial amount of work and disruption and its important that you can trust the people doing the work. We would have absolutely no problem in recommending Heatco for any heating work or plumbing needs.

We were happy with the central heating service carried out by Darren on behalf of Heatco. We received a message in advance of the appointment to confirm when he would be arriving which was the specified time. The job was done efficiently with a problem with the boiler sorted out at the time of the service. Darren was courteous and we would not hesitate to recommend him. The invoice and certificate were e-mailed to us shortly after the service was carried out.

It was easy to book an appointment online for a boiler service with early availability and the engineer Darren was early rather than late (with a text to say they would be early and checking that was OK). Darren was very pleasant and when I queried a TVR on a radiator he immediately looked at it and fixed a sticking pin. Took his shoes off at the door too! Verbally gave information after service and then was sent certificate and invoice (for quoted price on the website) immediately afterwards.

I have been using Heatco services for many years now and will carry on for years to come. Daren knows what he is doing and has been looking after my old boiler years after years so that I made the most of it. When I had building works done, I asked Heatco for advice, and although they didn't do the job (as they don't work with builders), they were very helpful in understanding what we needed. Since we have had a new boiler installed they are happy to come and help, as well as service it for a very decent price. Excellent service, very nice people to deal with!

Looked to be an easy fill in job but as we had HeatCo cover we decided to leave it to the experts to fit it. I am glad we did. Unbeknown to us, the old tap had completely rusted in to the sink unit solidly locking it into place. Of course, HeatCo's engineer had all the tools to hand and the experience to persuade the fitting to move before cutting it out and fitting the new unit. Excellent job well done.

I am on a retainer with Heatco, providing an annual boiler service, on-call emergency plumbing, and basic general plumbing services - although they can provide a full service, including boiler changes, flushing, etc. On this occasion I had a partially blocked sink and a mal-functioning radiator, which were promptly fixed. The plumbers are pleasant, polite and helpful folk.

A very professional team who understood what was needed and delivered as promised. We have used HeatCo on a number of occasions and they have always solved problems with a can do approach. Most recently they got hold of a difficult to find part and had it couriered over at their expense so we had heating for the weekend.

At the recommendation of several neighbours I arranged for a boiler service with Heatco and was able to get a very quick appointment. I am a HeatCo Energy Club member, and they have an easy to navigate booking system on line for servicing and call-outs, and confirm the booking by return email. Their friendly engineer was early for our recent service and the work was carried out diligently. He removed his shoes without being asked, and dust sheets were used when working on the fires. Having the comfort of knowing that the Heat Club membership also allows for labour free repair visits is very reassuring.

Needed replacement boiler. After trying several unreliable plumbers for quotes, I searched the internet, and came across St. Albans based “HeatCo”…. They let you book a consultation date on their website and within a couple of days the Ingenieur Deene turned up (who is very professional and very pleasant) to inspect my CH system. I had done some research and knew that I wanted the Worcester Greenstar 32CDI Boiler to replace my current 20 yr. old Worcester, and Deene was reassuring me that my boiler choice would be a perfect replacement for the old…. Later that afternoon he emailed me the quote, and to my surprise this was the only company that I had previously contacted , who had actually bothered to itemise the quote, breaking down the price for every item needed to install the new boiler…. Including a filter, flue, thermostat etc…AND a lot more cost effective than any of the other quotes… let alone British Gas …or SSE HeatCo also keeps you updated with messages, telling you exactly when the Ingenieur is on its way. Darren arrived right on time and quickly carried out the annual boiler service, including freeing a stuck motorised valve (no extra charge). The cost of the service was exactly the price quoted in advance. Excellent service!

I chose Heatco to install my new boiler on the recommendation of my daughter. I was certainly not disappointed, the work was quite complex as I wanted the boiler installed in the loft instead of the old boiler location in the kitchen. The estimate was provided speedily and the work was carried out in a reasonable timescale. Dean the installer worked so hard and was neat, tidy and very respectful. He ensured I still had hot water available overnight before he left. The quote for the work was accurate and fair. I will certainly use Heatco for further work in my home.

I had my hall, landing and stairs re-decorated, and had taken the carpet up, as a new one was being fitted the following morning. My wife swept and washed the floor, but found a couple of tiny, proud nails. I banged these down and we went to bed. Seven am. the following morning I went downstairs to find water pouring down from the ceiling - it would appear that water pipes were just below the floorboards, i.e. a channel cut in the top of the rafters, rather than drilled through them lower down! I immediately called Heatco and left a message, which was replied to promptly, and Joe and Dean arrived just after 8am. The leak was fixed quickly and damage minimised. We were so grateful to have, what was a horrible experience, resolved do quickly - and quicker than my insurance. Company could have achieved.

We instructed Heatco as they are a Worcester Bosch recommended central heating company. Joe called round very promptly to check the required work and give us a quote. First impressions were a professional friendly company and we immediately felt confident to instruct them. Our estimate was e-mailed through the same day and a date arranged for the work to be carried out. Dean and Ryan carried out the work and they too were very pleasant and professional. The work involved correcting unsatisfactory work carried out by another central heating company so we were very pleased to have found a company we could trust and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

This is the second time I have had a new boiler from Heatco. Never had any problems with the first boiler which I had for 5 years before moving house. I asked Joe and his team to put a new boiler in my new house, which they did along with radiators and nearly all the pipes when it turned out the old pipes were leaking and falling apart. Job got done within budget and time despite the unexpected issue with the pipes. Friendly, helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend this firm.

Joe installed a new WC for us which proved far more challenging than anticipated due to the configuration of the pre-existing loo. Despite this Joe did a fantastic job and figured out how to complete the installation, which would have defeated many others! The HeatCo team knew what they were doing. The new boiler and cylinder have been installed very neatly. The job was done in good time and to a very reasonable price. The team were friendly and asked questions when there were choices to be made such as the placement of the condensate pipe so that it would not be too conspicuous. Joe was able to respond really quickly to an SOS and solve the problems when the electricity supply to my boiler was not functioning properly. He's also serviced the boiler several times since it was installed a few years ago and so as the call-out was an easily fixed problem there was no charge. However, my house guest will be told not to play with switches in the airing cupboard if they come to stay again. Many, many thanks Joe - you are a superstar!

I'm not one to leave reviews, but Joe and Dean deserve a few words to back up our fabulous experience using HeatCo. From the outset they were both friendly; from arranging the quote to responding to queries. Dean carried out the work - it was a long 5 day complete heating system installation. His attention to detail on the installation was exceptional - he carried out the work like it was his own home, tidying up after himself and ensuring the pipe runs and boiler fitting was neat and tidy. The heating was up and running first time after day 4. He unpicked the plumbing mess that we inherited and we now have a toasty home! We arranged a few quotes and visits from various heating engineers and in the end were very happy to have chosen HeatCo.

Joe Walley of HeatCo came out to estimate for replacing our failed Combi boiler and within a week his team, Dean (and latterly a second Dean) were on site, stripping out the old equipment and installing a different system which Joe recommended - a Condenser Boiler. Although I had misgivings about switching methods, Joe assured me it would be the best to deliver ample heat and hot water. The work was challenging, due to the very confined location of the old system's flu. It was accomplished with great care and professionalism and works perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Our boiler started to play up and we knew it was time to get a new one. Joe came out at least twice to review our concerns (without charging). HeatCo installed our boiler and recently we had our first year service. The booking system was easy to use and everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Heatco did a conventional to combi boiler replacement and move, including roof flue, with several complexities in the work. I'd recommend Joe and Dean highly, for a number of reasons. 1) Sent a quotation the same day (unlike a few traders who never responded, or took weeks), *and* which was fully itemised; 2) cost was extremely competitive, c) Dean was extremely competent, helpful and put up with my numerous questions, and was diligent and made sure hot water was restored asap, 3) quality of work was great and were accommodating with a few extra requests, 4) tidy and respectful of my house, 5) the actual cost came in slightly under the estimate, which was reflected in an actual bill of costs and speaks to their honesty. Again, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heatco.

I used Heatco to replace a boiler that had stopped working. We moved the boiler from an airing cupboard to the loft. This enabled us to knock the wall down between the bathroom and airing cupboard so that we could make the bathroom bigger. Joe and his team were professional throughout at a very reasonable cost. Always very tidy and courteous he also did an extra couple of jobs at a reasonable price. We had other gas engineers who came round some of which never bothered to come back to me with a quote, others took 2 or 3 weeks to send me a quote. Joe produced a quote the same day. I would highly recommend Heatco, they also did a job for a neighbour and she was equally impressed. Well done!
