It was a small job - extending a kitchen cupboard to fill the space left when we bought a new fridge/freezer. We asked Gerry to use the panelling already there so the new cupboard would look the same as the rest of our 15 year old kitchen units. He did exactly that and came up with some good suggestions. Really pleased with the result - and all for a reasonable sum.

Gerry is good guy. He is a pleasure to deal with, listens well and stays in full contact at all times. His suggestions are very helpful and I appreciated his input at all stages of my project to refurbish and update my entrance hall, stairway and landing. This included a new oak front door and sidelight, an internal door, glass and oak balustrade, replacement loft hatch, architraves and skirting boards; I employed him to do some smaller jobs around the house at the same time and it all looks fab. Gerry was forthcoming with helpful and practical solutions to assist with what was quite a big deal for me. His work is excellent and tidy and he can recommend other excellent trades people if needed. An oversight on his invoice was easily and quickly rectified and I already have Gerry on board for a similar project on my lounge next year which will require built in under stairs storage. So pleased!

Mr. Heron is a reliable, professional accurate and highly skilled man. We are totally satisfied with the completed work in our home which was carried out within the agreed time scale. My choices of bath, showers, taps and vanity units were discussed fully, meeting not only our financial budget, but also the style and measurements of the rooms. The built in cabinet in our living room was designed and constructed to marry the design of the original 19th century wooden window surrounds. Even the smallest details for finishing off the rooms was dealt with willingly. This is not the first time we have benefited from Mr. Heron's expertise, and we know that we will stay in contact for the future. Gerry was recommended to us by a friend and I would happily recommend him to any of my friends. His work was top class and as agreed on the quote. I had new steel installed to correct a sloping floor, which involved removing half of my kitchen and then reinstalling and finishing off back to a plaster level. Every day Gerry tidied up and turned up as promised. I can’t fault the quality of the work from Gerry and his co-workers. He was probably the best trader I have ever had in my house to carry out works and I can safely walk on the floor above without it dipping or creaking anymore! I had to wait a little while for Gerry to fit me in but a good workman will be busy and worth the wait.

Gerry provided a very high quality, professional service throughout his time with us. He was commissioned to build a storage unit and shelves which span the length of our living room, as well as a fire place and chimney feature which house our TV. The job was technically challenging and required a fair amount of problem solving. Gerry successfully delivered both pieces of carpentry work to a very high standard and on time. He clearly understands cabinetry making extremely well. Gerry was easy to work with, he communicated well and co-ordinated the plasterer and decorator we needed himself.
