I've used Hertford Glass a few times now. A set of Origin French doors and a sliding patio door. The service is always of the highest standard. Dan Ginesi is very helpful and responsive and is the person I always ask for. The products and workmanship are first class. A great local company who I am always happy to support and recommend using.

Very good window replacement and installation of additional window/bifold doors which we are very pleased with. A very easy company to deal with - Sean, Jake and Michael came up with creative solutions for the odd issues over the job.

At the beginning of summer, Hertford Glass renewed our soffits, fascias and gutters. They were cheerful, professional and extremely competent. I felt very confident, knowing full well that they would do a first class job and would certainly recommend them to anybody.

Hertford Glass were extremely efficient from beginning to end. The receptionist was friendly and always did what she said. Kevin who came to see property and take initial measurements was prepared to answer my questions fully. Once the structural engineer had done his job, we were able to proceed . The installers were polite and did an excellent job. They cleared away all the debris. The windows look amazing and was shown how to work sash opening and closing. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Heard about Hertford Glass from a neighbour. I found Hertford Glass to be friendly, efficient, patient and professional to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble with regards to me choosing and changing my mind on design of door and style of glass! Fitting was done efficiently, no mess to clear up and no damage. Am absolutely delighted with my new door. Do not think it was expensive, given the customer service and quality of the product. Have already recommended Hertford Glass to a friend, she has since contacted them and her order is being dealt with as I write. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others in the future.

I highly recommend Hertford Glass. Our rear, single story extension has just been completed and the whole process from beginning to end has been faultless. From the first visit to scope out the project with Bryan to reaching the finished product under the guidance of Sean - it has been a positive experience. The budget agreed remained, with no escalating prices. We encountered a couple of small issues along the way but both were rectified by Hertford Glass. The build is of a very high standard and exceeded our expectations.

Both the Office staff Inc Sales and their Field staff are excellent, efficient, courteous and friendly. Field staff, very professional, leaving premise clean and tidy after work. Definitely recommend.

Despite a long process obtaining permissions from Listed Buildings and Heritage Foundation, it was reassuring, in the long run, that Hertford Glass would only proceed with these in place. This indicated to me, the company's integrity. I am very pleased with the finished product and the whole customer service experience. The installation (by Reece) was efficient, clean and stress free. He was friendly , obliging and very kindly fitted a key-safe box for me as well! I would definitely use Hertford Glass again and would not feel the need to shop around first.

My new windows were fitted today and I am absolutely delighted. The fitters were polite and helpful and tidied up to the point where you couldn't tell they had even been at my home. Their finishing off was incredibly neat and tidy and no repainting needed around the windows. It really is wonderful to receive such exemplary service, thank you Hertford Glass.

This is the 3rd time we have used Hertford Glass and we would use them again. Very happy with the quality of their service.

We used Hertford Glass to supply and install new windows to approximately 75% of our house, including a new front door unit with sidelights. From start to finish, the service has been excellent. They supported the design phase brilliantly, guiding us to the right selections and finishes based on the style of our home. There was a bit of a lag between ordering and installation, but this was expected due to known supply issues and our expectations were fully managed in this regard. The fitters were incredibly professional and polite. They were also tidy workers throughout the installation, ensuring to make good accordingly. Overall, we cannot fault the quality of the product that has been supplied to us and the service we have received. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had my patio doors replaced by Hertford Glass and I am very happy with the service and results. It took a long time (over 4 months) between ordering and installation but I expected there would be a delay as everything seems to be slow at the moment. The product is high quality and the installation was excellent with everything finished really nicely. There was a slight problem as I ordered chrome handles but the doors were delivered with white. This was rectified swiftly via email with no hassles at all, and a service engineer came and swapped over for the chrome handles a couple of weeks later. In summary, I am very satisfied and will be ordering additional replacement windows from Hertford Glass. The only negative was the long lead time between order and installation.

Hertford Glass took a deposit for a window in August 2021. Received one update call in November but nothing more. Sought an update in March only to told that due to various issues (communication breakdown between departments, IT problems, missing records), the order had not been processed until just recently, and that I would still be facing a two month wait for the window. I cancelled and have now received back my deposit.

Hertford Glass installed all new windows for us. Throughout the whole process they have been incredible, going over and above to give us the best customer service. From admin to assessment to installation, they have really made this such a positive experience. It was a pleasure to have the team in our house. Not only did they work incredibly hard in freezing weather, they made sure everything was clean and tidy at the end of each day. The windows look great, the price was excellent and we're delighted. Can't praise them highly enough.

We have just had leaded windows installed to our property, and are thrilled They look great, the works were carried out cleanly and efficiently by Rob and Niall and may I say their work and attitude is exemplary , they are a credit to your company. The price was very competitive and the quality excellent. We would highly recommend this company, and this is the second time my family have used them and they were also delighted with the work. Disappointingly we have to leave a negative review. In mid-December 2020 we commissioned a replacement purpose built Victorian style conservatory in hardwood at a cost of nearly £29,000 and paid a deposit of £7,160 on the basis of it being fitted in around 10 – 12 weeks at the end of March. The terms and conditions provided by Hertford Glass included our approval of manufacturing drawings prior to commencement of manufacture. After 3 or 4 visits from 2 different people we became anxious as the drawings weren’t forthcoming and time was marching on, even though we anticipated some delay due to Covid. There were many verbal apologies and excuses for the delay in producing the drawings and we started to lose confidence. We tried to speak to Managing Director David Bailey but he did not return our calls. Eventually, some 15 weeks after placing the order we received a drawing of a standard rectangular casement window which did not represent the conservatory that we had ordered. On 28th March we emailed to re-confirm our request to see proper manufacturing drawings and the following day received a rather curt reply saying they were cancelling the order as their supplier was unable to provide detailed drawings. They have subsequently refunded the deposit having held it for 15 weeks. If we had known at the beginning they would not comply with the terms of the agreement we would not have placed the order.

This was not the first time we have used Hertford Glass they installed replacement windows and doors in our previous property and also installed windows for an extension we had built. We have had 2 bedroom windows replaced in our new property one of which is a bay window, lovely looking windows with integrated blinds. We are extending into the loft space of the property and will definitely use Hertford Glass for the new windows and also to replace the rest of the existing windows and doors at the same time. Work was done within agreed schedule and budget. The installation was carried out professionally, efficiently and in a friendly manner. Old windows were taken away and in both bedrooms the area being worked in was tidied before leaving.

Quick and efficient, priced was very reasonable and the product was of a very good standard. Would recommend to anyone.

We obtained 3 quotes for the replacement of all windows in our ground floor flat which included a large bay window. We had to comply with the overall look of our development in respect of sight lines etc. & Management consent had to be obtained. We chose Hertford Glass, although not the cheapest quote, but they offered the most professional approach & we could look at the products in their local Hertford showrooms & discuss options with staff there. All visits for measuring & quotes were done in a timely manner & options discussed on site. Job done in two stages. Excellent & considerate workmanship by the fitters. Site left neat & tidy at all times. Delighted with the product fitted. Bay window, in particular, is a treat. The fitted windows are much more secure & robust than the original ones fitted by Barretts, the builders, 16 years ago. A replacement door was also fitted in the bay window, which is very secure. All the old windows were removed from site by the fitters. I have no hesitation in recommending Hertford Glass to anyone, especially our neighbours on this development in SG13. A job well done. Hertford Glass completed our lovely conservatory on time, and far exceeded our expectations: was on budget and any minor issues were resolved without issue. Great company and staff would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the future.

Hertford Glass replaced all our windows and doors over 11 years ago and they still look as good as new.Recently had a minor problem with the front door.Despite being outside the 10 year guarantee the company sent a surveyor round quickly who diagnosed the problem and proposed a cost effective solution.An appointment was made for a service engineer to call who was an absolute gem. He carried out the required work and left the job site spotless.

They have undertaken couple of small repairs on my property. Job was completed to high standards with a professional service. Price wise very fair and clean job. Thank you Hertford Glass.

Hertford glass replaced the windows that were installed by the supposedly UK's best "Everjest" new sash type windows installed front and back of our property, superb quality and service from this excellent local business . I highly recommend the company !
