From the speedy response to our email query through to the completion of the installation of our new central heating system all HEH staff have been friendly, professional and extremely efficient. Installing a new central heating system to replace a 30 year old boiler, and even older piping and radiators, was not without problems but at all times we felt we were in safe, competent and experienced hands. Andy's initial visit provided us with clear information about what was needed, followed swiftly by a quote and an installation date. Dave and George arrived promptly on the Monday morning and worked solidly throughout the week, helped by Dylan on Tuesday, to get the job done. They kept us informed about their plans each day and identified a room which we could use to keep out of the way. Throughout the week they went the extra mile, making sure they kept the house clear and tidy as they did so. When some issues arose in connecting with the Bosch server at the end of the week Richard arrived quickly to resolve them. No mean feat on a Friday afternoon! We are delighted with our new system and are pleased to know we can keep an ongoing relationship with HEH to maintain our central heating through their 10-10-10 Care plan. We had a problem with our thermostat in the lounge, so my husband called HEH to help us sort it out. Apparently, the thermostat cannot communicate to the boiler and control it so it had to be replaced. It would have cost us hundreds of £ as it hasn't been serviced but our contractor managed to have us signed up for the servicing and this reduced the total bill drastically. Gareth did the job efficiently and quickly, and I myself felt very relieved when it was fixed as I know nothing of the sort. Knowing that I can call them anytime we have any issues with the heating gives me such a sense of relief. We are very happy with the service that they have provided us. Gareth deserves a raise!

HEH replaced the boiler in our old house, and were our first port of call when we moved and in need a of new boiler in a new location as part of a full modernisation. Andy (The Boss) did the survey, confirming it could go where we wanted it, recommended a boiler that could fit into a cupboard, whilst satisfying my inner geek offering a smart thermostat. Also including connecting the gas hob, and decommissioned the gas fire at the same time. The quote was delivered promptly, and was competitive. Deposit paid, and the fitters booked, Dave & George turned up on time, smart, polite, friendly, and with a bit of personality that made it quite enjoyable! Rather than just throw the boiler on the wall, they asked our preference for pipe locations, explaining ways they can do it, to ensure we were happy, nothing was too much trouble. The pipework is neat and tidy (something the wife was concerned about), they explained why pipes were run in certain ways to meet regulations, and the boiler is a vast improvement on the the previous one. It was a long day for the lads and not one complaint. A follow up call from Sharon the next day to check everything was OK. It was straightforward from start to finish, and we're delighted with the boiler and installation, the team are a credit to HEH.

Their engineer was very knowledgeable about these 40 year old boilers. Spent nearly 4 hours on site, as planned. He explained what he had done and the options for further work, which was agreed. Courteous, honest and friendly. Explained the paperwork which needed signing. I have great confidence in their future work. A prompt invoice as well.

Annual boiler service at new property, expected some issues but there were none. Talked through some of the common faults, sorted out the key issue to fill the boiler. Even showed me how to sort out the batteries in the thermostat.

Gareth is a credit to the company. Every consideration was taken to be covid compliant. Messaged ahead with ETA and arrived and completed boiler service to agreed schedule. Very informative. Answered all my queries in a way that didn't make me feel stupid and made me feel confident in his advice and expertise. Had a lot of stress recently with a bungled bathroom conversion by another contractor, so was refreshing to deal with someone so competent, with excellent customer service.

Our boiler stopped working completely about 2 weeks ago, we could not get a repair through our British Gas policy due to strike. We then were partly scammed by an unreliable company, we were giving up hope until we came across this company through Which? Webpage. They responded immediately and resolved the issue within a few days! Every member of the staff were courteous and helpful throughout. Spoke to ladies immediately who managed to get us appointments quickly, excellent communication and service throughout. Special thanks to our engineer Darren who went above and beyond to explain the issue and provided sound advice and most importantly a working boiler! It was lovely to work with a small company that made you feel important as a customer and restored our faith in repair companies. We will use again without a doubt and recommend to anyone who wants what felt like 'old school' respectful service. We are now thinking about replacing our boiler with them which I would do with ultimate confidence! Plus with only a £30 callout/first 1/2hour fee gives confidence. We had a new boiler installed this week. We agreed the quotation three months ago and given a start date of the 10th May (our choice). The fitters arrived on that date and completed the work within the given three days. All the work was done with almost no disruption. The fitters were pleasant and courteous and cleaned up at the finish. I would definitely recommend this company and have done so to family and friends. I have also found this company very approachable when speaking to the office.

I was told to expect someone between 10:00 and 12:00 and the engineer was at the door by 10:00. He was smartly dressed in a uniform with the company logo showing. The vehicle he arrived in reassured me that he wasn't just a man with a van because the livery on his vehicle made it clear what company he was from so there was no ambiguity. He came into my house ran checks on my boiler fixed the problem very quickly and also provided some information about it so I learned something too! After fixing my boiler he tidied up and left no mess whatsoever. He was cheerful and friendly and a pleasure to meet and charged a reasonable price for the work he had done. I received an invoice electronically and paid by card. Very smooth from start to finish and I have no problem recommending this company to my family and friends - I will definitely use High Efficiency Heating UK Ltd again! :o)

Tradesmen were professional and friendly. Work carried out to excellent standards. From booking a new boiler to them completing the work has been timely and carried no problems or issues. I will definitely use again....highly recommend.

I called at 5 pm with a problem relating to my radiator valves installed by HEH. I was put on to the engineer who said batteries needed changing and said he would come the following day. He did and he brought new batteries, changed them, showed me how to do next time, sent me a U Tube link to help me next time and left. No charge, not even for the batteries. Just excellent, immediate, high-quality service as usual.

Installed new Combi Boiler, work kept to schedule and budget. Care was taken in the home to create minimum mess and work finished off neatly, taking into consideration the look of the house. Eg, replacement bricks, pipes, etc match existing colours. Everything was explained to me, the engineers were very friendly and helpful. Very happy with the service. 👍

My house is 180 years old and I was anxious about possible problems when my gas boiler needed to be replaced. Especially as there was an ancient tank in the loft (which had started to leak!) I thought it would be a huge job to remove. A friend highly recommended this company to me so I duly booked an appointment for Richard, their Tech Support Manager to visit and quote for the job. I accepted their fair quotation and the work was booked to take 2 1/2 days. On the first day Dave and Chevy arrived and were so calm and competent any fears I had about the scale of the job immediately disappeared. The job was duly completed on time. They left the house clean and tidy and looking as though the job had been a doddle though I think it was quite complicated and needed experienced people to complete the work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs replacement boilers or maintenance to their heating systems.. Well done Dave and Chevy and thank you.

High Efficiency Heating came recommended by a work colleague and I am so glad we chose them to replace our 13 year old Combi boiler with a new one. The quote was detailed and received the same day by email. Once we gave them the go ahead we were given a date for fitting for the following weekend which was brilliant as our old boiler was leaking. The two guys arrived on time and were really nice and very polite. They did a great job and explained everything they had done in detail and made sure we understood how the controls worked before they left. Its always a bit nerve racking using a new company but we were so pleased we had chosen High Efficiency Heating and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Our little home was treated with the respect it deserves and my faith has been restored.

One of the radiators was leaking which happened on a Sunday morning. My call was answered straight away, I received a text message when the engineer was on his way and he arrived within 50min after the call. He fixed the issue, checked the other radiators and answered all of my questions. He also communicated clearly what information he would feed back to the letting agent. I'm very happy with HEH and their level of service.

We've been with HEH for a number of years and have recommended them to several friends. Their annual contract is very reasonable and includes 24/7 breakdown and annual service. Their engineers are always polite and reliable. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

If you want a good job doing, then this is for you. We needed a new boiler and everything, from start to finish, went exactly as requested and planned. We knew Andy Baxter from a previous contact when he had impressed with his professionalism, refusing to charge for several home visits because he had been unable to complete the work. Again, this time his prompt advice enabled us to chose the right boiler, have it fitted at our convenience and call on the company as we needed for further advice. Above and beyond was mending our kitchen tap which had responded to the new boiler by misbehaving. We are pretty sure this was not in the job description but Andy could not have been more helpful in offering to mend it. Aftercare has been minimal as everything is working well but when I did contact with a query, again the response was prompt, extremely helpful and immediately resolved. A word too about the two workers, Dylan and Ryan, who fitted the boiler: spot on time, helpful, pleasant, highly efficient and very, very clean and tidy! How reassuring it is to have such an efficient and helpful company in charge of such a vital part of the house’s fittings. We have left the erstwhile British Gas servicing and signed up with HEH, half the price and several times more efficient.

This is the first time this company have serviced our gas central heating and has we had been experiencing some problems was relieved to see the young man who quickly fixed the problem and he also checked our leaky radiator and explained why we had the problem in very polite reference to said problem we will be having them service our boiler every year now .waiting for the bill to arrive now and will be paying them the same quote they give us happily

We have used High Efficiency Heating for quite a few years and they have never let us down. They are in fact, highly efficient. We had a problem with the boiler a few years ago on Boxing Day on the weather was atrocious, but we have been waiting for a part which they got in. The engineer came to fit it so that we wouldn’t be cold with the weather being so bad. Yesterday, our old boiler finally give up and we have no alternative but to replace it but instead of having to wait with the weather again being cold High Efficiency Heating came to our rescue yet again, and today we got a new boiler and your engineer was most polite and considerate. Your staff and engineers are always, helpful, friendly, and most accommodating. It’s a pleasure to do business with you. Have used this company on a couple of occasions and would highly recommend. They noticed a mark on two of new radiators (I couldn’t see it) and so fitted them, then come back to replace. Also refitted eco home system we had bought from old property. Couldn’t be happier

Boiler service efficient as always (installed boiler originally 12 years ago). Text before arrival, knowledgeable engineer arrived promptly, good future advice given but thankfully not with a sales pitch manner. Cleaned up and i was able to pay contactless immediately. Good service.

We've been using this company for 30 years & have always found them to be very responsive in an emergency, Plus they always turn up on time for planned works & boiler services. 13 years ago a new radiator they'd installed for us failed because it's an old house & the pipes were corroded. They identified the problem straight away. They dug up the concrete flooring, re-laid the pipes & floor, and supplied us with a much better quality radiator than we had before!

Got my boiler serviced, fast polite service. Came, serviced at the boiler, checked the gas, wrote up the service on the log book. Payment by card was much easier too.

Once again, another perfect service was completed by H.E.H. The engineer was professional and very courteous. Had an ageing central heating system replaced with an up-to-date Worcester Bosch combi. What a difference! Like walking into a different home! Reasonably-priced and fitted to the highest standards by friendly, professional engineers. I simply cannot praise them highly enough!

Arrived same day as breakdown call out. Very pleasant engineers who were polite and friendly and got on with work immediately. Problem was initially puzzling but they sought telephone backup and system was running again within about 30 minutes of their arrival. Great service in difficult circumstances due to inclement weather conditions.

We have used HEH for over 20years. Just had our annual service done a couple of weeks ago, we were adviced we need a warranty part fitted and engineer has been and completed work today. As always HEH engineer was polite and completed the installation efficiently and left no mess. Can't recommend HEH high enough. Brilliant service.

We asked HEH to install a heated towel rail after the bathroom had been renovated a couple of years previously. They found the hidden pipes and fitted the rail without leaving any sign of disturbance (we had expected to have to redecorate). Very pleased with the service, price and the care taken to clear everything up. Would highly recommend..
