We are a local, family run business based in Ashton Under Lyne, Lancashire. All our engineers are Gas Safe registered which means they have been certificated by the official regulatory body to make sure they are competent and qualified to work safely and legally with gas related appliances in your home.
HEH are Level 2 Worcester Accredited Partners. Our engineers have received training by Worcester Bosch to install and maintain their products. Because of this partnership we are able to provide you with their industry leading parts and labor guarantee.

Once again Gareth did an excellent job on the annual service of my gas boiler, he found that there was a problem with the circuit board which had worried me for a while and advised me of how to cope with the problem so that I would not have to spend money unnecessarily on remedial work. This has saved me a lot of money. Should the problem become serious, I would certainly have Gareth back to do the work.

Gas pipe filter

The manufacturer of our central heating boiler recommended that we fit a filter in the gas supply pipe, to prevent a build-up of dirt in the boiler. HEH provided a quote within a day then arranged a convenient time for the filter to be fitted. The engineer arrived at the appointed time and completed the work very efficiently. He was friendly and pleasant, and took the trouble to explain exactly what had been done as well as how the filter would be cleaned during the annual service.

I used HEH LTD 12 months ago to come and install a new boiler in my home- the fitters were very friendly and courteous- made no mess whatsoever and were a pleasure to deal with. I can honestly say, hand on heart we are so happy with our new Combi boiler and Central Heating system. I wasn't home when the surveyor came to review our property but my husband tells me it was the owner of the company, Andy who conducted a thorough inspection and answered all the questions he raised. Andy was very professional and knowledgeable, fully explaining what the job would entail. There was no sales push or any urgency to agree to anything and my husband felt totally relaxed. The quote was sent via email the following day. The date was set for the following week and right on time, Adam and Chris turned up to complete the work. These 2 gentlemen were outstanding. So efficient, hard working and spotlessly clean. I cannot express how thrilled we are, not only with the work they carried out but with the speed in which it was completed in. We had a fire & back boiler removed from the living room. A hot water tank removed from the bedroom, a cold water tank removed from the loft. We then had a combi boiler fitted in the kitchen and all new radiators fitted throughout the house - all completed within 2 days. Fantastic !!! we couldn't have asked for a better service. Even their office staff are so helpful and attentive, maintaining contact either by email or by telephone to ensure everything was being completed to our requirements. What a pleasure to deal with such a fabulous company and I would eagerly recommend High Efficiency Heating - Exceptional workmanship.

Ours was a big, three-day job. To remove a Baxi back boiler and pump from the living room and water tanks from the loft and airing cupboard, and replace these with a combi boiler in the garage, new radiators and pipework. The new system works wonderfully. It was installed by Dylan Taylor and his colleague Dylan without fuss or mess and when we returned home after the work was completed there was no sign that they had been here except for the lovely new heating system! They were thoroughly professional in every aspect of their work including customer care. Dylan Taylor spent a good hour setting up and clearly explaining how the electronic controls worked. On hearing that a decorator was about to paint our dining room, they even came back the next day to remove a radiator until the painting had been completed. This is a terrific company which has impressed us at every stage with the quality of their work and customer care. We would highly recommend them.

From the speedy response to our email query through to the completion of the installation of our new central heating system all HEH staff have been friendly, professional and extremely efficient. Installing a new central heating system to replace a 30 year old boiler, and even older piping and radiators, was not without problems but at all times we felt we were in safe, competent and experienced hands. Andy's initial visit provided us with clear information about what was needed, followed swiftly by a quote and an installation date. Dave and George arrived promptly on the Monday morning and worked solidly throughout the week, helped by Dylan on Tuesday, to get the job done. They kept us informed about their plans each day and identified a room which we could use to keep out of the way. Throughout the week they went the extra mile, making sure they kept the house clear and tidy as they did so. When some issues arose in connecting with the Bosch server at the end of the week Richard arrived quickly to resolve them. No mean feat on a Friday afternoon! We are delighted with our new system and are pleased to know we can keep an ongoing relationship with HEH to maintain our central heating through their 10-10-10 Care plan. Earlier this year had a problem with our gas meter could not find any one to get in touch with at British Gas got in touch with Heh they came straight away confirmed the problem and they got through to to British Gas for us. Today after spending over an hour trying to reprogram the central heating controller I phoned them they arrived with an hour and showed me what I was doing wrong. We can’t recommend this company highly enough from the moment you phone them they are ready to help no matter how big or small your problem is.

An intermittent, loud noise and vibration from the water tank in the loft on running the hot taps from anywhere in the house was investigated by High Efficiency Heating UK Ltd who diagnosed it as a probable faulty ball-cock. It was agreed that a new one would be fitted at a subsequent date. However, a week after the initial investigation there had not been so much as a murmur from the water tank. I spoke to the chap who had come and he explained he had tweaked the ball-cock whilst he was here, and said that so long as the problem does not return there was no need to replace the part. I was not even charged for the initial call-out. I will certainly use this company again no matter how big or small the job. Highly recommended.

I had a radiator fitted in my bathroom. The two people who carried out the job arrived at the specified time and were very professional and friendly. Everything l needed to know was explained to me and all my questions were answered. They cleaned the area when the job was completed and removed all the packaging/rubbish. All radiators were checked to ensure they were working properly. I have used High Efficiency Heating in the past and would definitely use them again in the future.

Contacted High Efficiency with regards to a broken boiler. Due to the emergency of the situation they arranged for the replacement boiler to be fitted the next day. We were really impressed with the initial communication, giving us lots of clear notice of when the job would be done. Text messages to advise when the engineers were en route. The 2 engineers who carried out the work were friendly, smartly presented, wore face masks and laid dust sheets prior to starting the work. The work was carried out efficiently in a smart and tidy manner. Once the work was finished we were given a thorough explanation of the new system including help with setting up the apps on our phones. We can highly recommend HEH if anyone is considering similar work!

Was pleasant & efficiently carried out our service & advised a new pressure gauge was required but was covered under our plan. The two gentlemen Dilan and George who carried the job were professional during the whole day when they were working. They were very courteous and polite and pleasant. They left the place clean and tidy after finishing the job. We were very impressed with their workmanship. Dilan was very patient when setting the system on the mobile phone, which was causing a lot of issues in allowing to download the apps. He fixed the problem patiently and never showed any disgruntling. We are very satisfied and would recommend High-Efficiency heating to our friends and family without any hesitation

From start to finish the servicing of our boiler and open fire was done to excellent standard by Dave. We were also informed by text when the engineer was on the way. Dave explained what I require for my open fire and possible options. Another appointment was arranged for me to see Andy who will assess my open fire requirement personally for possible options. After servicing, Dave tidied up and kept my front room clean. Also the cost was reasonable too. I will definitely use HEH for my future servicing.

Brilliant. We had a dead boiler and needed a new one urgently. The price was better than “the large national competitor,” the installation date was much sooner, and this came with a 10+ year guarantee which is just brilliant. End-to-end service was fantastic, they now have our business for good.

They provide a comprehensive and very caring service from beginning to end. The initial visit was to advise and quote on the removal of my original ancient gas fire and fireplace. They also were there to discuss my requirements for the replacement fire and recommend options. After removal, there was a follow up visit to confirm my chosen replacement was suitable. Further visits were to prepare the opening for the new fire and the final visit was to fit the fire. They've recently provided remote control for my central heating and serviced the boiler. Their customer service is excellent and prices are reasonable.

Excellent customer service throughout from the breakdown of our old boiler to the installation of a replacement. They dropped off a couple of heaters to see us through until replacement boiler was fitted which were most welcome and valuable during a very cold spell. New boiler fitted in one day, carried out by two engineers who treated ourselves and our property with respect and kept everything clean and tidy before leaving. They worked very hard and did a great job.

I've been putting off looking at a new boiler for many years, my old Worcester 24SI II was on its last legs. Found HEH through Worcester recommended installers. Turned up to quote on time, quoted quickly, price was good. Turned up to install on time, fitted a new Greenstar 4000 in a day, and replaced two radiators and did a stealthy condensate pipe route leaving only minimal pipe exposed to the outdoors. Guys were great, clean and tidy, and they went the extra mile on super neat routing of the new copper pipes. They were also very fast to respond to my initial queries and post-install queries. Ten out of ten. Great follow-up calls from the office too. Very impressed would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks again.

Just had our boiler service with a local company High Efficiency Heating. The young man who carried out the service was very polite and helpful asking if we had any problems with our boiler. After carrying out the service, leaving no mess and replacing everything back as it was, we are very impressed with this excellent company.

I called Andy Baxter office at 10 -15 to explain the boiler was not working. I was asked if there would be somebody in the house today and they'll send an engineer round but could not give an exact time which was not a problem to me. Less than 1 hour later an engineer arrived and 2o minutes later boiler fixed and working . First class service.

The work was fitting two radiators. Booking was easy and following an assessment the work was done efficiently. The plumbers were here on time and the work was done to a high standard. They were so polite too and took care around the house e.g. clearing up packaging, taking old radiators, putting sheets down where they were working. I do not have one negative thing to say - absolute perfection. Thank you so much. HEH will always be our first port of call for help now.
