I have been in the gas industry for 17 years. I started as an apprentice at British Gas, where I progressed to a fully qualified engineer, where I worked for many years. I am able to bring the professionalism of a big company with my personal touch to all my customers. We are able to do boiler repairs, installation and servicing. Unvented hot water cylinder repairs, installations and servicing. We also do Landlord certificates and general plumbing, as well as gas appliance repairs.

They returned my call very quickly and arrived within twenty minutes of our conversation. My central heating had been randomly deciding to not function as it should. They were able to identify the faulty part immediately and replace it with equal speed, restoring my system to normal working order. They are very friendly, reliable and obviously very capable. They provide an essential service at a very reasonable price. I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending IJ Heating and Gas Ltd.

After trying to contact a few heating engineers from word of mouth and being let down I searched Google and IJ Heating was a local engineer with good reviews, called him and he got back to me the next day arranged a date and said he would call half hour before he would be here. sorted the problem with no issues very tidy and concensious and a reasonable price. would definitely recommend. very difficult to find good tradesmen

From the positive reviews in Which? I asked IJ Heating (Ian) to quote for installing an unvented hot water cylinder to replace the old open system, and I am glad I did. Not only was the quote reasonable but all my dealings with Ian turned out to be a refreshing experience and to the high standard one hopes they should be. Ian is a professional, punctual, diligent worker who completes the job to a high standard and as promised. As others have said, his energy and thoroughness is very impressive and comes properly equipped to carry out the task in the most efficient manner and to cause us the minimum of inconvenience.

Ian has completed a few jobs for me now and his work is always exemplary. He is trust worthy, reliable and always cleans up after himself. This time he fitted a hive thermostat, replaced some radiator valves and gave the boiler a service.

The work to replace a central heating boiler and some additional heating controls, plus radiators was completed very efficiently to a very good standard. Some minor technical issues involving pipework alterations were completed as part of the overall task. Site was left clean and tidy, with everything reinstated as necessary.

I have used Ian to fit a new gas boiler and to disconnect gas and reconnect it when I had a new kitchen fitted. In addition Ian sorted out the new plumbing in my kitchen. Today he has given my boiler an annual service. The standard of work is always superb. The work is completed on a timely manor and no mess afterwards. All the necessary paperwork is given. Nothing is too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for any plumbing/ gas work required.
