I’ve used Illy’s services to remedy a bathroom leak that had leaked unnoticed for a while, which included the need to strengthen floor joists and re-tile. I cannot recommend him highly enough; he is very reliable. Illy and his tradesmen are very professional, very skilled in their trade, they took pride in doing a good job, nothing was done slapdash. Illy communicated clearly to me from the start the timescale, the works needed, and costs involved. He was patient to make sure I understood the phases of what needed to happen (as plumbing is far out of my comfort zone). The standard of works he delivered is very high, the wroks were executed with as minimal disorder as possible, with everything cleared and cleaned perfectly when they were finished. I definitely will use them again.

Illy completed a full bathroom renovation for me, as well as replacing radiators. He was incredibly reliable, kept in constant communication and completed the work to a great standard. I couldn't recommend him and the team more, and I am hugely grateful to him for the work completed.

My boiler stopped working completely during a winter cold snap. I contacted Ilirjan and he quickly responded with a quote and a couple of different boiler options, and then carried out the work and commissioning swiftly over the next couple of days. Ilirjan and Alex were friendly and tidy from the start. They took time and care over the work, and did a neat, professional and thorough job. The boiler and boiler flue were admittedly in a tricky location requiring the removal/reinstallation of part of a cupboard unit, but they were installed neatly with positivity and at no extra cost. Ilirjan also checked and adjusted all of the radiators as part of the job, talked me through thermostat controls and arranged all relevant warranty and safety documents. All costs were as the original quote, no extra charges. I also feel secure that I have a direct contact I would feel comfortable calling back with any questions about the system.

Really happy with our boiler replacement, Ilirjan was very professional and friendly. He was really tidy too and left the flat with no signs work had been done. He even came and had a look at other bits and bobs around the house and gave me some advice. He took his time and made me feel comfortable that it was being done properly.

I was recently let down by a plumber last minute and asked around for recommendations. I was given Illy’s number and contacted him. He responded quickly and managed to fit me in that day. He serviced my boiler on the day and also gave me a quote for replacing all the radiators in my flat. He gave me a lot of helpful advice as to which radiators to choose and has now fitted them all. Great communication, reasonable and detailed quotes and a fantastic job - they look great. I couldn’t be happier and I will almost certainly be calling on him again.

Ilirjan came promptly to help us with a leak from our old water tank which he dealt with very proficiently. In our conversation, he offered some options for improvement without any pressure. First class plumber, gas boiler and central heating engineer. Clearly enjoys and is very proud of his work and thereby delivered a very professional, skilful and friendly job at a fair price. Our old combi boiler needed replacement. He gave an almost immediate quote And fixed date for the work. Not pushy. Very open he attended with a colleague and carried out the work exactly to order and the system now works very well. Very neat work. He came back a few days later at my request to Carry out new work on the Old central heating pipes and radiators. Again all very precise, clear and reasonably priced. A good find. He came to us on the recommendation of neighbours who similarily found this couple of years ago

My central heating and plumbing systems failed at the worst possible time. Just out of hospital with Xmas not so far away, the very old storage tank started to leak. Illy was able to do an immediate fix to keep most of the plumbing system working and then arrange for a complete replacement of the system by 21 December – in time for Xmas, as promised! I am very pleased indeed with the finished work and delighted that I now have an up to date efficient combi boiler which I can operate from my phone. Hot water on demand as well! A lot of tough work but done with a great deal of care and consideration for the household occupants. Illy is a great communicator and very prompt at responding to queries and accommodating additional requests. Good time-keeping too. I would definitely use I & M Plumbing again and happy to recommend them to others.

Ily came to the rescue when our boiler broke down just after new year. He quoted for a replacement one v competitively and was able to fit it within 24 hours. We had a previously badly installed Tado system which he spent time resolving and reconnecting, returning the next day to iron out a small issue we couldn’t figure out. His attitude to fixing a problem is wonderful, and he leaves the house pristine. We have since had him back for a small plumbing job and again we were very pleased with the work he did. I recommend him to all my neighbours.

I chose I&M Plumbing after receiving quotes from 4 companies. A number of trusteed traders listed here didn't reply at all. I&M were not the cheapest, but I am so glad I chose them. Illy and his assistant Eddie did a fantastic job fitting a concealed shower, and various other bathroom works including: • Removing and replacing a bath • Removing wall tiles on one wall • Fitting and plumbing in the shower valves and shower head • Strengthening and then re-tiling the bathroom wall • Fitting a very heavy glass bath screen • Fitting a new sink trap. They were highly skilled and great problem solvers (they needed to be in a Victorian house with tricky walls and awkward angles). Reliable, professional, patient, and good communicators - I can't recommend them highly enough!

My gas boiler broke down for the umpteen time on 28 September 2022. I had been told the previous winter that it was on its last legs and very near the end of its life. I called I & M Plumbers and Illy came out the next day. He confirmed that the 20 year old boiler had had it. Illy managed to get the boiler going for the time being and came to replace it with a new Vaillant a couple of days later. Everything redundant was taken away and left extremely tidily. The work was carried out quickly and very throughly. Illy saw that existing gas pipes needed upgrading to a larger bore and came back the next week to replace those also. He is friendly and responsive and very thorough. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Illy at I & M Plumbing and will be using them in future, for sure.

The heating system work involved replacing a gas boiler and hot water tank, several radiators and associated pipe work. Plumbing work was also carried out involved replacing 2 toilets and a shower room. In each case Illy arrived on time and his bills were on budget. He carrier the work very professionally to a high standard so I would be pleased for him to undertake any further heating or plumbing work.

I spotted Illy's van several years ago and made a mental note that when I needed a plumber in the future I'd call on him. I have done over the years, just for little things, and has always been really helpful, friendly and efficient. When I needed a new boiler this summer he was the same. He explained things clearly and was completely straight forward about the costs involved. Maybe he isn't the cheapest plumber in the world but then I wanted the very best I could get and you have to pay for the best. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

The immersion heater in my 40 year old hot water cylinder blew so I went on to Trusted Traders and found 5 potential plumbers to have a look. I&M were the first plumbers I contacted based on the reviews. It required me to text quite a lot to pin down the appointment and chasing up. The plumber seemed keen to reiterate before he came, that the visit to diagnose / quote would be chargeable, which was fine by me. I explained that on the day they said they could come that it would need to be at 08:30am as I had a doctor's appointment at 09:40 and had to allow travelling time. On the basis of 08:30, I purchased parking for his van with the local council. He actually got to my front door about 08:55am and up to my flat by 09:00am. He did not apologise or explain why he was late. He seemed annoyed when I had to hurry him with the visit as I needed to leave for the doctor. I told him if he'd not been late, then we would have not had to rush the quotation. He commented negatively on the installation done way back in 1981 ( a tendency of some tradesmen ) and demonstrated how the immersion element was too long to remove and therefore a whole new cylinder was required. He told me again that although he'd only been on site a short time, that the visit was chargeable. That annoyed me because it felt as if my honesty / integrity was being called into question. The invoice came 4 days after the visit and I paid it immediately, but chose to continue with another plumber.

My 9 year old Bosch Worcester Greenstar developed a leak. Illy gave me options to repair it or replace it. He explained that Greenstar boilers are difficult to dismantle and so expensive to repair and advised that replacement was a better option in the long term, since the replacement Valiant came with a ten year guarantee and was also easier to repair, should it be necessary. I found that Which? showed this assessment was correct and that Valiants are a Best Buy because of their serviceability. The quote was reasonable, and Illy was able to carry it out within a few days, while I was away from my house. He kept me in the picture about what he was doing and he undertook all necessary works, including replacing some radiator valves, tidily.

Great Customer service, got straight to work servicing two boilers. Repaired one quickly he had the parts. Offered great advice, friendly, local. I highly recommend this company and Illy.

Illy successfully installed a new combi boiler for me despite my flat being in a challenging location in the building, requiring an extra long flue and hence more work! He gave me a realistic and fair quote then took on the challenge of the work and completed it in record time. He was professional, courteous and communicative throughout all stages of the installation. He did an excellent job and his gas and plumbing skills are exemplar. I was delighted with the result. Oh, and Illy always cleans up after completing a first class installation! I would highly recommend his professional services to all my family and friends without hesitation.

We realised that we had a leak inside our wall and called Illy. He was punctual, friendly and unbelievably efficient! In less than an hour, he had managed to cut into the wall, find the broken pipe and fix it. He made as little mess as possible. His prices were very reasonable. We were very happy with his work and would definitely recommend to friends.

Illy is good. He is fast. He is reliable. He arrives when he says he will. He wore a mask and gloves to minimise the danger of spreading covid-19. He invoices reasonably. As of yesterday he has done two small maintenance jobs. Yesterday's was replacing a leaking bath mixer cartridge. The first was in 2017. He replaced a leaking basin tap mixer cartridge and mended a Geberit dual flush plate that had been wrongly installed by my original builder/plumber. I trust Illy. Without question I will go to him first for any plumbing/heating matter. And I would hope he would always be available. I wish I'd known of him in 2013 when I had to engage a contractor to plumb from scratch two kitchens and 4 bathrooms in two new flats in a house conversion.

Illy has done several jobs for me. He has sorted an under sink emergency leak in a kitchen cupboard. His plumbing work is first class. His communication is great, he comes when he says he will and calls en route. He fixed and relaid my patio decking area exactly to specification He also completed a shower refurbishment where the original tiles were leaking. He removed the tiles and tanked the walls, retiled and fitted new mixer and redecorated. The finish was to a very high standard. He is neat, tidy, punctual and professional. Plus he charges a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend him

I needed a boiler service done and found Illy from I&M Plumbing listed on the fire service website.(London Fire Brigade) I called him up and found him to be helpful and efficient.He turned up at the agreed time and was very thorough.I have since used him to service the boiler yearly and he has also come in to cap off a gas pipe and change bathroom taps.He works quickly , is adaptable(if the work turns out to be bigger than what was originally asked for he just gets on and does it)and always cleans up any debris left from the job.His prices are reasonable and he gives constructive feed back and advise and I would recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and professional service.
