We had Mike and his team fit a new kitchen for us. We were really pleased with the work done and delighted with the end result. Mike was full of good advice from the first consultation and we had confidence in his team of professionals throughout. They communicated well with us and each other so that time on the job was well managed. Their work was of a high standard and the team took pride in their work. They were pleasant and easy to have around and took trouble to minimise disruption when possible. They returned to sort out minor snags very quickly. Mike and his team did an absolutely outstanding job in transforming our home for us. We are really delighted with what he has achieved (it has excelled all our expectations) and we would strongly recommend Mike to anyone. The quality of the finish he produces is exceptional, he is a pleasure to work with and have in your home, and he operates the perfect balance of listening to what you want and delivering it, and also helping steer you in the right direction if you are uncertain about anything or want to hear the options. He is very creative so comes up with some great ideas and options you may not have thought of to get the best out of your space! Ours was quite a major project in our Victorian terrace, including structural works to convert a very run down kitchen and bathroom into a kitchen-diner which flows onto the garden, and then creating a bathroom upstairs in a room previously used as a bedroom. The end results are really stunning - Mike has managed to transform some really quite dark, depressing spaces into light-filled family rooms which are a pleasure to be in. We can't quite believe it is the same house. From the very outset Mike's quote was the most detailed and fairest, and he is completely honest, trustworthy and reliable. His team go above and beyond to deliver the project quickly, looking after your home, and being so respectful in terms of causing the least disruption possible. At the root of it all, beyond Mike's exceptional skill & attention to detail, is the fact that he genuinely cares about delivering something excellent which is just as you want it; he & the team are willing to work tirelessly to give that to you. We have experience of quite a few projects and we believe that is something a bit special which is quite rare to find. We will definitely be calling on Mike for phase 2 in the house. We couldn't really entrust the job to anyone else now we know what Inspired Projects can achieve!

We chose Mike to build our kitchen extension on the strength of positive comments on this website, and now it's finished we're glad we did. Mike has been a pleasure to work with. Nothing is too much trouble and we have enjoyed our regular discussions with him about managing the project. We have always been confident that he wanted to ensure we were happy with the end result. This was quite an ambitious project for us, requiring co-ordination of inputs of labour and materials from a number of sources, but Mike has kept it under control and seen it through to a successful conclusion. Ammi and his team did a great job on the main build and their bricklaying and pointing in particular has been much admired. In terms of value for money, I don't think we could have done better than engage Mike and his team at Inspired Projects.

Mike and his team (mainly Dave and Steve) recently fitted a new kitchen for us. Not only were they a pleasure to have in the house, but they clearly care about doing a good job and the quality of the work was excellent. We had no qualms about honesty, trustworthiness or professionalism and will call upon Mike in the future when another project arises.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike and his team to anyone undertaking a major home refurbishment project. Having decided to reconfigure the ground floor space in our 1930's semi, we found an architect and then shared the plans with three builders. We found it easy to relate to Mike from the outset, and after seeing a similar project on which he was working, deciding to use his talents was an easy choice. Between our first meeting in November 2013 and the start date on 1st April 2014, Mike introduced to the members of his team. With them we were able to discuss our requirements and refine our choices, using their considerable expertise and it was obvious that they were engaged in the aim for us to achieve the best solutions for our project. This involved converting the integral garage into a shower room and utility area with access from the hallway; removing the wall separating the old lounge from the kitchen at the rear of the house to create a spacious kitchen dining area, with bifold doors opening on to the back garden; and the installation of underfloor heating, zoned, to the whole of the ground floor. Upstairs we completely refurbished our four bedrooms, which included replacing a ceiling, replastering throughout, and refitting and modernising our bathroom. The whole house was rewired, with extra power and lighting circuits in the garden, and the plumbing was renewed throughout using a megaflow high pressure system. Because of the scale of the work, my husband and I moved out and were only able to visit once a week to review progress. This is when we came to fully appreciate Mike's skill as a communicator. We received e-mails, phone calls and texts whenever decisions had to be made or to update us on progress, accompanied by photos. He kept track of payments on a spread sheet, which was extremely useful. He was very flexible when we changed our minds, were a bit slow with some decisions, and brought in an interior designer with exacting standards - fortunately she found no fault with Mike's workmanship and wants to use him again! Although there were a few hiccups with the supply of bathroom and kitchen fittings, Mike coped with any problem with good humour and always came up with a solution. He was 100% reliable, honest, hard working and a great project manager.

Mike fitted a new bathroom for us earlier this year (March 2014) and we were delighted with the result, and the way in which he and Rob went about the job. As others have mentioned, Mike was incredibly helpful from the outset - taking the time to understand what we wanted on his initial and follow-up visit, and answering the many questions we had before work could commence. He gave us many tips on where to source materials and what things we needed to look out for, and is always looking to keep the budget down where possible. Once underway, Mike and Rob got on with the job swiftly, tidily and professionally, and always sought our input where any clarification was needed. Ever when we were probably driving them mad with requests, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was finished to a very high standard, and when we discovered one of the tiles was unfortunately permanently marked (not their fault), Mike and Rob came back to remove it and install a replacement - this was quite a tricky job, but they did it with good grace. It's this kind of attention to customer satisfaction that goes such a long way. In terms of price, I found Mike to be cheaper than some quotes I received, and provided a clearer quote, too - very fair value for money I would say.

Mike and his team have just completed a series of projects for us and we would recommend his services without hesitation. Our initial discussions with Mike took place last April when we were in two minds as to how to achieve our goal of a new family space; build an extension or knock through two rooms. Mike came along one evening and was very engaging from the start and was happy to quote us for two projects. We did get another three quotes, but we got on with Mike from the ÔøΩget goÔøΩ as he is such a very nice guy and decided to engage his services for our project, which began in September. Mike knocked through our back reception to our kitchen, sourced the Fabricator for out steel work, unified the space to a plaster finish, blocked up the existing kitchen door, arranged for some new lighting to be installed, installed our new kitchen and helped with some general finishing off. Along the way he is always happy to offer his advice and shares his resources readily. We are so very glad we engaged the services of Mike, nothing is too much trouble, and he is very good with communications, also a nice person to have in your home. We did stumble upon a few problems along the way but Mike is never one to get flustered and offers solutions quickly, he really does like to please his customer and his work is of a high standard, furthermore any snags you may have are quickly sorted out. He does have a number of other people working with him all of whom are easy to get along with, in particular Ami and his crew - very, very hard working team who just want to get the job done, no shirking goes on with this lot ! Our work was completed just before Christmas and Mike was as keen as us to get the work completed, providing excellent client satisfaction is a non-negotiable for Mike and he does take great pride in his work which is very reassuring. If we ever need any other home improvements done in the future Mike is now on our speed dial!

Mike did some really complex bathroom renovation work for us in our period Victorian house. A largish bathroom was converted to a slightly smaller bathroom and separate toilet. We were so pleased with the work that we added on a job to renovate our very small en suite shower room. All three are immaculate and the two bathrooms look larger than the ever did before (despite the fact that one of them actually reduced in size!). Mike was excellent throughout: communicative and responsive. He also stuck to the budgets and quotes he gave us. Highly receommended.
