Another great job by Jon. I needed 2 additional sockets fitted to a bedroom. He did the usual great job to a high standard. I would not entertain anyone else.

I cannot recommend Jon highly enough. He was recommended by our neighbours. Jon is always quick to respond to enquiries, keeps in contact and attends promptly when he says he will (sadly such good communication is a rare thing these days). Jon gives great advice and I completely trust his judgement. Over and above that he is courteous, polite and friendly. His work is tidy and of the highest quality, and his rates are very reasonable. I have full confidence in Jon to carry out any electrical works, inside or out, and would not consider using anyone else.

Jon came highly recommended by my parents, for whom he fitted downlights. Jon provided an electrical survey on our first home before we purchased it. He was thorough and communicated everything clearly so we understood it all. Since buying our property, Jon has installed downlights in every room and moved and added multiple plug sockets. He was available to chat on the phone and through WhatsApp throughout the project. The house looks amazing with the new lights. We agreed on a schedule and he communicated clearly when he was available to do the work. He was flexible in the sense we added more work to the job while he was doing it (as we forgot about wanting downlights in the hall and landing when we initially spoke). Very helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. (He worked very late on his last day to get everything done.) He was able to think of solutions to any potential problems quickly and without fuss/drama. He even gave us advice on other things around the house (which was great because as first-time buyers we are very new to all this and need all the help we can get!) We'll be asking Jon to replace our consumer unit soon and we will 100% go back to Jon in the future for any electrical needs. Thanks Jon!

Struggled to find a recommended electrician so I took a chance sourcing an electrician online. I felt confident to use a Which recommended trader and was impressed with Jon’s communication before, during and after the job. Jon turned up exactly as planned and worked very hard throughout the day. He was very polite at all times and I wouldn’t hesitate to employ him again or recommend him to others!

Jon responded really quickly to my emails, he arranged a time which suited me and came to my house to complete the equipment testing. Jon helped resolve a longstanding problem with our lights. Communication with him was easy and clear. He is a polite, pleasant and trustworthy individual. Jon spent a lot of time sorting out the installation of our new oven which required both a new circuit board and a new isolation switch! Very friendly and very good workmanship... he was in that cupboard under the stairs for quite a while and I'm sure his knees were grateful when he surfaced! Would thoroughly recommend him.

This is the second job done by Jon. He carried out: Electrical Installation Testing, providing a detailed written report of findings; replaced a single socket with a double socket; replaced a dimmer switch with an ordinary light switch; corrected a fault in a bathroom pull switch. The job was done to the agreed date and costing. Jon works diligently; there were no mobile phone interruptions or drinks breaks. He makes himself freely available to answer any questions put to him by the customer. His replies revealing a comprehensive knowledge of his trade.

Jonathan was scheduled to do a small job of fitting a dimmer switch and a new light fitting and, once again, did a very neat job and was totally trustworthy. When I was unable to be at home at the time of the appointment he carried out the work and left everything clean and tidy. Very easy to deal with in making plans for work to be done and gives helpful advice. Would definitely recommend.

I contacted Jon about a few issues with our lighting. He arrived when he said he would, having communicated clearly. He assessed the problems and gave good advice on how to resolve the issues economically. He returned exactly when he said he would and carried out the work. For two days on 28th and 29th August 2025 Jon worked on three separate electrical items, replacing my trip switch box, replacing four external lights and their sensors and installing an external weatherproof socket for a heat pump. Over the past fifty years I have used 5 different electricians, all of whom have been competent and safe but not entirely satisfactory. When Jon arrived, from the moment I started to speak to him of my various problems, I realised I was in the company of an electrician who is in a class apart. He listened carefully and intelligently, immediately grasped the specific problems I had and what I wanted him to achieve, and he did so in a manner which cave me full confidence in his professionalism and his competence. He turned up on time exactly as arranged, was careful and tidy in all three tasks and when the work was completed, he had achieved what I wanted. The precise arrangement and interconnectivity of my external lights and sensors had never been quite as I wanted from two previous competent electricians, so I was delighted when Jon managed to achieve exactly what I wanted. The day after he had completed the work, he sent me an invoice which was the same as his estimate. He also sent me a highly detailed 6-page installation certificate. Moreover, Jon is very engaging and a good communicator and listener, and I am sure sure extremely conscientious and very safe. I award him the strongest recommendation.
