Having previously used an electrician who was a poor communicator and left a load of litter in my garden, I decided to try someone else for an EICR inspection. Jonathan responded to all my queries, turned up on the agreed date, contacted me when an unexpected issue was discovered and quoted a very fair price to resolve it. The overall price for the inspection was very fair. I will have no hesitation in using Jonathan’s electrical services again.

Jon recently undertook a variety of electrical works for us. I would characterise him as very diligent in his work; polite in his manner, and clearly skilled and committed to providing an excellent standard of service. He communicated thoroughly throughout, giving good advice on best-fit solutions. We appreciated the time he gave to giving clear answers to any queries. Jon Biggs was strongly recommended to me about a year ago by my burglar alarm technician, who was himself an experienced electrician. I have had Jon do several jobs for me over the last few months. They included the renewal of a trip switch box, three external lights and their sensors fitted to my house and a similar item fitted to my barn, and an external 13amp IP rated spur. I also had him replace a timer for an electrical hot water cylinder. All the work was done excellently and by the time Jon had finished all three jobs I had come to the conclusion that I would always ask for Jon's services whenever I needed electrical work. He is simply outstanding in all respects. The recent work done on 31st October was relatively straightforward. It was to fit a new 20amp circuit with an exterior unit for the installation of a heat pump for air conditioning units in two main rooms of the house, which will be installed tomorrow by All Kent Cooling. Jon completed the work in a day. All the boring work was done neatly and the slight plaster damage repaired with filler ready for decorating. The electrical work was accompanied with the appropriate safety certification filled in correctly and with care. Jon is a very tidy worker as as usual left my property as I would wish. He is also very engaging and easy to understand, which of itself is reassuring. He engenders trust and competence, both of which are important for an electrician. I cannot praise him highly enough.

Fitted a new light in conservatory, came to house at the time arranged and completed the job quickly and at a fair price. I rated him highly and will have him again without hesitation.

Jonathan carried out a full electrical survey and resulting remedial work (consumer unit replacement ) plus some helpful advice. He was available within my time frame, punctual and unobtrusive. This house in East Kent is new to me and I certainly hope he will work here when needed.

Jon Biggs responded quickly to my request for various electrical work to be done and provided us promptly with a detailed invoice, which represented good value for money. He arrived promptly when he said he would and completed the job within the estimated time, ensuring power was off for a minimal period. He is very polite and courteous and works in a very clean and tidy fashion. We are very pleased with the results and have recommended Jon to family and neighbors.

First class cannot fault his professionalism or his work. A small job in updating three smoke alarms that are wired into the electrics and sorting out one of our down lighters in the kitchen diner. I would not hesitate in recommending him to friends and neighbours and he will certainly be our go to electrician in the future for any work either small or larger projects. Finally he is friendly and approachable.

We have used J Biggs Electrical for many jobs at our home. He has recently fitted new smoke alarms and fixed a few other issues in the process. Previously we have used Jon to wire up the husbands new workshop and install lighting on the decking. Reliable, trusthworthy and comes highly recommended. Jon recently completely rewired our house. From initial estimate to finishing Jon has been professional, courteous, reliable and hard working, always ready to explain and willing to suggest alternatives where our ideas weren’t optimal. Not in days, but within hours, he came to my home, fixed the issues, and provided my certificates. This level of professionalism is a success for our country. Jonathan installed two centre light fittings, replaced a socket and checked another. He PAT tested and updated a number of lamps and fans/ heaters. He is knowledgeable and communicated well before his visit, checking the suitability of the fittings before I ordered them . In person, he is quiet, pleasant and non intrusive. He was well focussed working quickly and efficiently. I was also very impressed that he was able to instantly find and provide me with certification that an agency had failed to send after work he completed about three years ago.

The trader moved a light switch , installed an additional socket and re-wired a light in a shower (which had defeated a previous electrician). We were really pleased with everything he did - plus he was courteous and very tidy and efficiently issued the necessary paperwork including the Works Certificate .
