I wanted to share what a positive experience I had with Jamvans on a recent move. I was so impressed with the crew’s attitude and their efforts to get the job done efficiently. A big thank you to Harvey, Rio, Aaron, Ed, and Robbie for all their hard work. I also wanted to thank Jake and Owen for their support, communication and organisation. They were both incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. I will definitely be recommending Jamvans to friends and family and definitely will be using them again!

I used Jamvans to move to London. Prior to and throughout the move I was well informed of the expected service and plan by Kirsty and Shane. I would like to give thanks to Alex and Nathan for their work moving my stuff from a second floor flat with no lift and delivery to my London flat!

Matt was a star in helping to organise a last minute move. JamVans went above and beyond to help with the move for my grandparents, from the start of the initial phone call, to the survey, to the move, they ensured everything is a smooth process taking the stress off from the move. Shane was very friendly and clearly explained how to do the survey and Josh was excellent at helping to do any heavy lifting and assembling furniture. They packaged up all their belongings and safely moved them into the new property. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, highly recommend using.

JamVans were brilliant in a complex and delicate situation. Only 75% of the house contents were being moved so this entailed care and patience when doing the full pre-move packing, and then to only take the correct items on the days of the move. JV's customer service was absolutely excellent. Every office member was responsive and attentive, and the 3 guys (Nick, Alex & Brad) doing the packing and move were cheerful, helpful and went out of their way to ensure a successful move with minimal stress, including an unexpected late finish. Thank you!

Jamvans moved me from London to North West Derbyshire recently, including packing and storage for a week. Shane the surveyor, Annette in the office& the removal guys that I met (Ben, Dan x2 & James) were all so friendly and helpful. They made the move feel as relaxed as it could be. Everything went according to plan and to the times scheduled. The removal guys worked so hard & were just lovely. Thank you to everyone and I’d definitely recommend Jamvans!

Used JamVans recently for the second time. Super experience both times. This latest move we decided to use the full packing service - very glad that we did, it saved us a lot of hassle... everything was packed professionally and carefully and arrived in tact. Any small issues were taken care of immediately and satisfactorily by the moving team as well as the office team. Highly recommend and would use again.

I am so pleased I used JamVans for my move. I have just had my move completed by the JamVans team and they were absolutely fantastic. I felt so looked after by the back office right from the outset with my survey from Shane. The movers were so friendly and actually made my move enjoyable whilst remaining professional. Everything was moved with such care, I am so glad I chose JamVans to do my move for me and my family and will definitely be recommending.

I can't comment on how well this company can carry out the work, but their approach to securing work is really objectionable. I initially obtained a quotation from their website that was very reasonable and competitive. But to take this forward I then had to schedule a Zoom call with them (for which I had to wait a week), after which they sent me a revised quotation that was more than 50% higher. I did not provide any additional information during the Zoom call, except to confirm that the volume needed for the move was less than that allowed for in the online quotation - so I had to conclude that they never intended to provide the service for the price quoted online. Also just to note that they recorded the Zoom call inside my house without (as far as I remember) asking my permission for this.

The team made what can be a stressful experience really great and somewhat fun, though still tiring. They were fast and efficient and friendly at all stages. We got a brilliant price and because we were moving to the company's hometown, the crew they sent us was from Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrels. Only points for improvement would be giving extra crew and tools for furniture dismantling and re-assembly and more carpet coverings. Apart from that was excellent and would be very happy to use them again.

This is the ultimate storage and removal company. Allow me to explain how they absolutely saved me from true disaster: We were packing up and storing all our stuff to go abroad on an extended trip abroad for a few months. The team comes on Friday and without fuss quickly gathers our stuff. So smooth, and worthy of a stellar review itself. The next afternoon, a day before we were fixing to leave I realized to My horror that I had left my passport in one of the drawers I stored with Jamvans. Panicked and feeling like an idiot, and aware they were closing soon I frantically Facebooked Jam Vans explaining the situation. Matt answered calmly and reassured me it would be Ok. He personally located the “pod” recovering my passports. He then arranged to meet me personally to give me the passports. We had a complex nonrefundable itinerary booked for the next day and I would’ve been out thousands of pounds, not to mention without a place to stay as I was ending my lease! I later learned that Matt was the CEO of Jamvans - amazing! Some companies truly strive towards more than just profit, but truly have empathy for others. This is one of them. The reviews are real. Don’t look elsewhere for transporting, moving or storing your stuff. Thanks again!

JamVans helped us make our big move from London to Scotland. Things then got postponed due to Covid-19. Nine weeks of lockdown later, we finally got underway. Communications with Gemma and Annette were clear throughout. Dean and Alex were brilliant during the 2 days of our pack up and move. Positive, polite and helpful, they got to work in a speedy and efficient manner. Professional at all times, they helpfully suggested we might need extra guys to complete everything and get us packed up in time (at additional cost, which was our fault and we had no problem with) Unloading at the other end in Scotland the next day was quickly and methodical, we couldn't have been happier. Now for the blip - we originally paid approx 3K (in full) back in March and as mentioned required extra help to finish packing and loading which represented about 10% extra on our bill. Having never questioned the amount or refusing to pay, we were phoned 3 times on the actual move day to settle the account. Once whilst travelling in the car up to Scotland, and twice more not long after we'd arrived and were still unloading the vans. The insistence by members of staff that we settle the account before the rest of the unload was completed seemed unnecessary and high-handed. It put us in a difficult position with stuff left to be unloaded and soured what was otherwise an excellent experience. Lack of empathy at a stressful and busy time, could have been handled in a totally different way. It's not all about the money!

From the initial call from Gemma in customer service JamVans put me at ease about the upcoming move. Nikki who carried out the survey was really helpful and friendly. On the day of the move we had Dean and Jack as our removers and I really can’t praise these two enough, they turned up bang on time, were both really friendly and so very helpful on the day. The van was packed quickly and efficiently and they made the move such an easy stress-free process. At the other end they were equally amazing! They are both such a credit to JamVans and made my life so much easier! Thanks guys! Would 100% recommend them to anyone!

Loved using them, have had many troubles in the past with movers and as we use them so much it's great to finally find a company we can rely on and use again and again! They were all very pleasant and super helpful, very strong too!

I used JamVans when moving my house and they were fantastic. I had been very nervous about the move and the logistics of it but from the minute they arrived, I could see they had everything under control and that made me relax. I strongly recommend JamVans if you are looking for a reliable service.

I used Jam vans when moving from my house to my boat. They were so reliable and professional. As you can imagine it isn’t easy moving to a boat on the canal, but they managed to move everything and we were moved in very easily with little hassle. There was no job to big, and they were always happy to help. I would use Jam Vans again and again. I have also purchased boxes and wrapping equipment off them which was very well priced and excellent quality.

i had an urgent move this week and JamVans stepped up above and beyond. nothing was to much for them and they helped me and my daughter move from my mum's house to our new place. what wonderful people. Customer service was great with Gemma and the move with Adrian was perfect. very helpful and i highly recommend them. thank you JamVans i will use you again.

I received a courtesy call the day before and a call to advise when the movers were almost there. The men were friendly and efficient. These guys were the best value for money I could find but price did go up when we ran over estimated time. It was still competitive.

It was little late to over run on another job. However, we were kept informed of the delay. The move it self was fast and efficient. Everything was carefully handled.

Moving crew nice guys. Very diligently reimbursed and dealt with minor broken items professionally via insurance. Have used them three times.

We have just completed a move with JamVans and have been very impressed with the service we received. Nikki in the office was very diligent in taking us through the process of moving home. We have not moved for over 10 years so we were a little apprehensive about the process but we are so glad we found JamVans. There were 4 chaps on our move each of which worked so well all day and took great care of our furniture. I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

I can not recommend JamVans or thank them enough they were by far the best removal company I have ever used. Gemma in the office was amazing, so kind and accommodating helping me sort out my move and being able to achieve it in a very tight time frame of 2 weeks! She really went above and beyond. The two removal lads were fantastic, they arrived on time and moved me in in the allocated time frame. I can’t praise them enough too, particularly as my house was a bit shambolic to say the least, more of a building site to be honest. JamVans were a real pleasure to deal with and it was the least stressful experience of the whole moving process. They are the only removal company that I will use.

My opinion is that Jam Vans are devious and dishonest. They are very friendly and helpful initially claiming to take the stress out of your move, but they are not transparent about their charges. They say they offer a fixed fee and don't mention anything about additional charges for delays. Similarly their quote does not mention timings on the day. There is something hidden in the terms and conditions, which talks about extra charges for delays, but again, no timings are mentioned. They then specify that your move starts at 8:30 am and if the completion is delayed for any reason, they start charging by the hour. In addition, when it got to 4:05 pm and I was still waiting for confirmation of completion, they turned the van around and threatened to either return my possessions to my original address, or store them and charge me for the privilege. They then finally agreed to return the van , but only if I paid the additional charges in full (essentially holding my possessions hostage unless I paid). They are also blatantly dishonest , as when I complained ,they promised they would consider refunding me some money as they didn't like customers to be unhappy and said they would get back to me in the next 24 hours, but didn't. I then went through their complaints procedure, but they insisted that they were fully clear and transparent about their charges and that felt that they had no obligation to inform me. I would urge you not to use them!

Thanks to the Jamvans team for the pain free packing and removal from our four bed house. The team worked very efficiently throughout the two days to complete the work, with much care and attention taken to wrap up our contents. We are very grateful that the move went so well. Thank you.

Even though the temperature was so high that day, they came and moved my stuff so quickly. We also had an issue with the lettings agent not giving us a key to get into the property in time and our movers waited patiently for us to sort everything out and then moved everything in with no complaints! Would definitely use them again!
