I've used these guys twice now as we're moving from studio flat to house. They've given me outstanding service both times. Friendly, polite, professional and fast They cleared out five years worth of accumulated stuff from my studio flat in about 20 minutes as I'd already packed into crates. They are genuinely respectful of, and careful with, my belongings. I've used people before who forget that they're handling someone else's property. The Jamvans guys didn't. They asked about the best way to handle certain things and made sure the van was packed carefully. At the self-storage unit they asked about the best way to pack things, for example what I might need first so it could go in last, and made sure I got the most out of the space. I'm really impressed, and while I didn't get the names of the guys from the second run, Martin and Chris were outstanding. Jamvans beat my expectations - I'd expected less careful handling. The prices are average for the market, but there's no delaying tactics to squeeze out an extra hour here and there. I've never seen stuff move so fast. They're definitely going to be my first choice when I come to move out of storage and into the house. Annette in the office is fantastic - very knowledgable, quick to respond, and there was no nonsense involved in booking.

JamVans present a very friendly face but when things go wrong they are not so helpful. They moved furniture from my daughter's flat in North London in 2018 and took it into store in Hemel Hempstead while she was abroad. We have being paying them £142 pcm for storage since then. We asked if we could remove some pieces from the container. They charged £110 for arranging for us to do so. We hired a van and went to pick up the furniture. In removing an antique French commode, the JamVan person in attendance put weight on one leg when removing it from the container and it snapped off. It had some woodworm in the leg but I had brought it safely myself from Paris and my daughter had used it in her flat for 2 years. The wood is still hard but it could not handle the mistreatment. I asked JamVans to pay for the cost of repair and they flatly refused to do so or even to make a contribution. They claim I was not insured, though I pay a month insurance to them to cover storage. They never advised me that this exercise needed extra insurance. I complained but they merely quoted the rule book at me. Beware their smiles!

I was really impressed with the service provided by JamVans from start to finish. Nikki was helpful and friendly when i called for the initial quote and was pro-active in following up and staying in touch both before and after the move. Aaron and Josh carried out the move and were very fast and efficient. They took care of all my belongings and everything arrived in perfect condition. They were good humoured and friendly and generally made the move a positive experience. The price was also excellent. I strongly recommend JamVans and have already recommended to friends and family.

I found out about JamVans through the Which? Trusted Traders list. Overall the service was very professional. Booking was very straight-forward: They carried out a survey to give me a quote, which I then accepted. On the day of the move they arrived on time, packed all my things, and took them to the new place without any issues. Boxes were labeled and everything was wrapped adequately. I will definitely hire their services again next time I move.

We received a thoroughly professional service from Chris, Rob, Dale, Martin and Team Leader Michael across 2 days. The Team were respectful and careful with our belongings. Absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced and professional. Jamvans helped with our house move. They arrived early, were professional throughout and went above and beyond what was required. They made an extremely stressful process a delight. I really can not recommend them enough. I would Not hesitate to use them again.

Spent a while looking around for different removal companies from London to Amsterdam. JamVans came up, user friendly and professional website. Got an almost instant response from emailing them, really helpful, really friendly. I had never organised a international removal before, wasn't really sure what I was doing or how much stuff i had but they were so helpful. I have to say they were probably the most expensive company we found however we had a dedicated van so our stuff would get mixed up with others. They organised to come earlier than they normally start as we had to catch a flight, both guys who turned up were so quick and so helpful. They even strapped up my orchid and got it there in 1 piece! Not a single thing damaged or broken. And our stuff was delivered on the same day! Really impressed and took all the anxiety and stress I had about moving all our items away. Will be using them again and have already recommended.

I can thoroughly recommend JamVans. Shane was really friendly and helpful when doing the survey. Annette was checking in before, during and after the move to make sure everything was as expected but the packers and movers really set this company apart. Martin and Michael packed everything carefully, paying lots of attention to everything fragile or precious! Martin, Dale and Krzysztof then did the actual move. They worked tirelessly, were careful with all our things and put everything in the right place. They were all just really nice guys too and put us at ease during the stresses of the move!

Great service from the initial survey and quotation until the move was complete. The movers were on time and quickly packed up my house, unfortunately the second part of the move was delayed so the courtesy hour was very helpful. Annette was very helpful during this time and provide excellent advice when my settle couldn't fit in the front door. I would recommend this company.

Couldn't recommend Jam Vans enough. From the first consultation and surveying of our flat through to the actual move itself, the company were nothing but helpful. I was so impressed by how hardworking the 2 guys were that conducted the move. We moved to a second floor flat and they powered through so quickly without any complaints, nothing was too much trouble. Plus I had a great time with both of them, they were great fun - I actually told my partner I was a little disappointed when they left for the day!

We’re having building work done in our house and, because we’re not as spry as we used to be, we decided to have the smaller pieces of furniture, pictures, cupboard contents, etc. professionally packed and stored before the builders started; and returned when the work is completed. Having read the reviews, I contacted JamVans. Nikki is a joy to deal with – efficient and friendly. As was Shane, the assessor. He came at 10 am and we received the quote later that day. Martin and Dale came yesterday to do the packing and removal. They wasted no time in getting the work done. Very efficient and helpful. And as a bonus, they’re thoroughly nice guys! All that remains is for the building work to be finished and JamVans to return and unpack our stuff. I hope we get Martin and Dale again.

We were looking to move from W9 London to Berlin including a packing service. Naturally, we got around 10 quotes to compare offers and due to the packing service all companies sent over a surveyor. This is where JamVans began to set themselves apart. The surveyor was super friendly, explained everything in great detail, how they pack, the insurance that's included, the process of the move. The quote came in the morning the next day and to my surprise was competitive with the other companies. Along with 2 others, JamVans were the only ones that could actually offer delivery at the destinations 2 days after the pick-up was done. Most other required weeks to be able to deliver our items. On the day, the team arrived, kept a positive attitude and smiled. They all introduced themselves and went on about their work. They were so dedicated they didn't even take a lunch break. Just short 10-minute breaks throughout the day. Because of a negative experience with a previous international move and a careless company, I decided to observe how they'd pack our items. They were very careful and didn't bump into ANY walls. The delivery went just as smoothly. They brought all the boxes into the new apartment and assembled the furniture items they had previously dismantled. They were very careful during this process too. I must also mention their project manager Nikki who had great communication throughout the move. Always checking if things were OK, following up on the process. Great company.

This was a cross country move for my 86 year old mother. Office staff, particularly Nikki, were very helpful and responsive. Shane provided an accurate quote, friendly service and good advice. We exchanged contracts unexpectedly and had to arrange the move with 2 days notice. JamVans pulled out all the stops to help. We had to pay extra to cover extra last-minute staff but the actual cost was still much lower than other quotes. The packing service was really excellent and thoughtful. Not a single thing even vaguely damaged. All removals staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Day 1 staff were very punctual. Day 2 staff were delayed by about and hour through no fault of their own, but the office kept us updated and this was more than compensated for by their over and above the call of duty attitude to their work in the removal itself. When a staff member had back problems, he was replaced quickly to ensure continuity of service. The only slight glich was when the feet off an armchair could not be found on arrival. I had to literally order the staff to leave as they had a long drive home and we knew the feet were in a box somewhere - they wanted to unpack everything just to make sure we had them! Sure enough we found them the following day. Thank you Jam Vans!

Chris, Wayne and Dale made our move effortless. Our flats were both top floor with a ton of stairs, but they tackled them with good humour. Our stuff arrived in perfect condition, and they took time to help us put everything in the right place. We wouldn't hesitate to book JamVans again.
