Before posting this, I acknowledge I am in a minority who has not had what I deam to be a positive experience of JB. I had a small leak coming from underneath my toilet at the join with the flooring, I asked for an emergency call out before the problem got worse. I accepted the quoted £125 call out (Inc upto 1 hours work) and that this would be taken into account should a larger job be required. Contact was prompt and professional. The plumber attended my address for 20 minutes, advising a separate call out for repair would be needed due to requiring parts - criticisng the initial fitting of the toilet which meant more work would be needed. This is the first issue I have had with the whole bathroom in the 4-5 years since it's fitting. An invoice was sent as expected for £125, with an offer of 5% off if I left three reviews. The quote for work followed the day after at £542 (or £511, two different quotes received), this is presumably with the £125 call out for 20 minutes diagnosis taken into account, clarified and confirmed by JB plumbing. I asked for an itemised breakdown as this seemed expensive and was told "parts and labour" which didn't clarify the price at all. I have not progressed with this quote as I found the details of a Plummer I'd previously used with good experience in an old phone, they attended and have fixed for £100, approx 2 hours work. I know this is against the grain of the majority of feedback and please take mine in the context of others.
