Hi, Thank you for your feedback, we always take any feedback on board but we do find there are some inaccuracies within your review. The boiler was repairable, we were told by the boiler manufacturer Ideal that it was and we quoted for what we were advised by Ideal. We were transparent and honest and advised it would be an expensive repair and advised you would be best to put the money towards a new boiler given its age. We understand why you went with the repair choice. The parts fitted were advised to be fitted by the manufacturer of the boiler from the technical helpline, they were on speaker when the engineer was going through the checks on the boiler and you were stood beside him. The repairs were carried out and did not work, we apologised, technical advice said they could be of no more assistance and to change the boiler as this was a rare case and was out of warranty so they couldn't assist. You requested we fit you a new boiler for the same cost as the repairs, so we refunded you. We provided you with a new quote for a boiler but you went elsewhere. We didn't leave you in sub zero temperatures, all of the issues were resolved within a day or so and you were refunded the amount you had paid. We are sorry you feel this way but we have resolved this in a professional manner.

I understand you did reach out to obtain an estimate of roughly how much it might cost for; - Your kitchen being fully re-piped to suit your new kitchen. - Relocating and renewing your mains stop tap. - Installing a new gas hob along with alteration to the gas pipework. We did advise a full survey would be required as the estimate was only given on the information and images provided to us. You never got back into contact with us as you were in discussion with other plumbers who agreed to do the works at a reduced cost. We pride ourselves on first-class workmanship, and in order to compete with cheaper tradesmen, this would involve dropping our standards which is something we do not do. We are always transparent when it comes to estimating or quoting for any works to ensure the customer fully understand the works involved. We always use the very best materials and methods to ensure our workmanship is impeccable. We believe by using the above methods this helps us obtain a very loyal and happy customer base.
