The Jennings team did an incredible job replacing our entire bathroom, redoing our electrics and painting the whole house. From day 1, they were invested in the project, and showed great attention to detail and quality, going above and beyond to deliver a 10/10 outcome. The team is friendly, trustworthy, transparent and professional, and I wouldn't hesitate to use again for large or small projects.

Unreliable
1. I paid £180 in advance. 2. They did not turn up for the first agreed appointment, 23rd August. The engineer was sick, but no one bothered to let me know. So I rebooked for the 30th August but again same scenario, same excuse, no warning. I only learnt that the engineer was sick when I rang them up as they assured me that they rang and emailed me to warn me of the situation, but I have no trace of either. 3. I have requested a refund, but the lady in charge is not at the office today! So I have to check later.

I needed a new toilet fitted at short notice and needed a time window to fit in with my attendance at my uncles house, as I live 70 miles away! They accommodated this perfectly. Carried our the work in a timely manner and charged rates as agreed. Professional workman who worked quickly and even helped tidy up, really can't praise these guys enough. Holly was so helpful, thanks for being there in my hour of need! Would highly recommend.

Terrible callout and wrong analysis
My tenant called out this company in an emergency to a rented property owned by myself due to a heating/water boiler that had failed. They identified a new pump replacement but strongly suggested a new boiler be fitted as the boiler is old. The also stated that a new flue be fitted, and appeared to recommended that it went across across a bedroom ceiling on the inside of the room. It is clear that the engineer failed to identify the fault, as neither a pump or new boiler were subsequently required. The company quoted the new boiler and labour at £5,500. The position of a new flue fitted on the ceiling would obviously be completely unacceptable on every level. The bill submitted from a second qualified engineer at a different company for correctly identifying the faults and repairing the boiler was £100. I have never experienced this kind of service before and am shocked by it. Fortunately I was able to source a competent and speedy engineer on behalf of my tenants

Last year my home was flooded, the whole place was stripped including the parquet flooring, so I was considering installing underfloor heating. Our builder wasn't keen on the idea and was pushing me to install central heating but I spoke with Tristan at Jennings and he talked me through all the options in detail, so I decided to go with his recommendation and have underfloor heating installed. They started work in 2 weeks and completed the install and tested the system in 4 days, a day earlier than expected. The new parquet floor was laid and, a week later, one of the Jennings engineers came over to show me how to setup the app and all the wi-fi controlled thermostats. There was one tiny glitch; the pump jammed. I called Sian at Jennings in the afternoon, they turned up at 8am the next day and it was fixed in 30 minutes. Everyone I have dealt with at Jennings have been professional; appointments met, calls and emails answered, queries sorted, stuff patiently explained to me, nothing is too much trouble. Sian was in frequent contact with me with updates and information and the aftersales care has been superb. Its so nice to deal with a company that demonstrably care about their customers and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Jennings have completed a variety of plumbing, heating and electrical work for me for the past few years. I initially found them on Checkatrade after I experienced a particularly bad run of London traders. The Jennings office team is extremely responsive, friendly, polite and contactable via WhatsApp, and have always been able to arrange an engineer visit within a few days of my initial request -- often on the next day. When I've had an emergency, if I message the office team early enough they'll have an engineer out to me on the same day! The engineers are very polite and reliable, and keen to help get things back on track. They're neat, and do very good work. My husband and I both work from home, and the slightest hitch with our heating or electrics has a massive impact on our businesses. Knowing that I'm able to message Jennings, and that they'll have and engineer out to assist has helped reduce the stress on our business and family lives. Jennings have done a variety of work for me from fixing my heating system to installing outside lighting to sorting the loft macerator. Unlike many of the other plumbing and electrical companies I've used in the past, the Jennings engineers do not keep me waiting for hours to arrive . . . or letting me down entirely. All in all I'm extremely happy with their service, and I highly recommend them.

I recently used Jennings to investigate and fix a leak in my shower tray. They were fast, efficient and very careful protecting the area where they worked.It was part of an insurance claim and they were great at documenting the whole process. I have also used them before to replace a tap, fix a flush valve in a toilet and re install my dishwasher that had come off its brackets. All jobs were done to very high standards. I highly recommend them.
