I phoned Mr Creasey to ask for a home visit to provide a home energy analysis. Unfortunately I was out of his catchment area, but despite that he then continued to provide plenty of advice over the phone. I have no doubt that he would provide a professional and conscientious service.

My sister decided to use Mr Creasey based on good customers reviews already on Which? Local. She was not disappointed. He replaced an old central heating boiler (condemned by British Gas) with a new condensing one and at the same time replaced the existing radiators plus thermostatic valves , put in a new timer and hall thermostat. Changes to the pipework were also necessary to fit the metric size radiators. This pipework was very neat and tidy. Mr CreaseyÍs work was of the highest quality. He explained exactly what he was going to do and was happy to answer the many questions put to him. He was very knowledgeable and seemed to take a pride in his work. Nothing was too much trouble and he took his time completing the job. He couldn't be faulted and my sister is more than happy to recommend him.

My wife phoned Mr Creasey when we had a problem replacing an oven door which had been removed for cleaning. He arrived within ten minutes as he was in the area and fixed the door back on. His fee was very reasonable and the service he provided was excellent.

I have used John Creasey's services for a number of years, for annual gas landlord inspections and last year for a new boiler installation. Work is always of a very high standard and he's very reliable as well. No hesitation in recommending him.

John's done several jobs for us over the last ten years and I can't recommend him too highly. He seriously knows his stuff. A circuit board failed on our boiler, but he found an even older circuit board lying around in his stocks and successfully replaced it with that, just charging for the labour. When the gas hob mysteriously stopped working he knuckled down to some detective work and eventually found an insect in a tiny pipe. Nice guy to have around too.

Gas hob burner would not stay lit. I phoned Mr Creasey who was able to identify the fault from my description. While on the phone he suggested a number of simple remedies I could try, they worked. Concerned and at my request in case the fix was not permenant he made a number of calls to source a replacement part. As my hob is still working I have left well alone. Excellent friendly service I have no hesitation in recommending him to others and would like to thank Which Local users for flagging him up.

Recently used John to provide a landlord's gas safety certificate. John was extremely thorough providing a very useful and detailed report in addition to the safety certificate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any heating or gas appliance related issues.

Phoned John on a bitterly cold Sunday evening when our central heating went after a general power failure..John talked me through the possibilities. Over the phone, I reset the control panel, checked the boiler and the heating system started (phew!). These are no doubt basic checks to make but John was very supportive on the phone and I would recommend him as a decent professional. Thank you again John!

My room heater packed up and I couldn't find anyone who could or would fix it until I came upon John here at Which Local. In spite of being frantically busy and my living outside his normal range, he came and diagnosed a stuck fan, which he sorted in about 15 minutes. The heater is now working perfectly, and I shall certainly ask him to come again if I have any more gas problems. The charge was very reasonable, too.

Called John Creasey to service a gas hob that was under-performing. He arrived promptly, quickly identified the problem and sorted it out. I am very pleased with his work. He made a very moderate charge. Aside from anything else a very nice man.
