I have always found John to be very diligent and precise in work undertaken, having used him for several years to annually service our gas boiler. This year some old parts needed replacing and he explained why in his usual professional, calm and pleasant manner. His after sales service is good too. I had a couple of questions about operating the central heating system, and he got back to me same day.

John fitted a new gas boiler, as part of a kitchen re-fit, and replaced 9 radiators and associated thermostatic valves. This was the first time we used John and it definitely will not be the last - we can highly recommend him. He is a highly knowledgeable heating engineer with many years of experience, articulate and clear in explaining the work he proposes to do, and meticulous in the execution of the work program. A very pleasant and communicative person who invoiced to his quote irrespective of challenges that arose during the installation.

John has been servicing our boiler for 20 years and it passes the stringent annual checks. The fan stopped working and John was here the next day. It could not be repaired immediately but the part was ordered and fitted as soon as it was available. Thanks John.

John Creasey has just completed the annual GasSafe check on my house and I'd like to recommend his services. I moved to New Malden in 2005 and needed a Gas Engineer to service my boiler annually because I have a lodger. Found John in Yellow Pages and picked him at random simply because he was local. I was really lucky because he’s great. He’s happy to take time to explain anything to me. Very approachable and trustworthy. Extremely knowledgeable on gas safety as evidenced by condemning my gas fire in the lounge - he carried out a flue smoke test one year and identified that smoke was leaking through brickwork because the chimney lining had crumbled away. Much as I liked my fire, keeping me safe from carbon monoxide poisoning is obviously far more important. He also installed a new boiler for me and relocated it from round-a-corner in a kitchen cupboard to its new position in the loft room. The pipework I saw under the bathroom floor while he was working was a work-of-art. Beautifully aligned and neat. Evidently takes pride in doing a good job.

I thoroughly recommend John. He gave my gas boiler it’s annual service and went out of his way to source and fit a much needed replacement part the same day to avoid me requiring a second visit. I was particularly impressed with the way he considered my health and safety during the middle of this coronavirus pandemic - he wore a face mask, used hand sanitiser regularly and even disinfected the work surfaces he had touched before he left. I have used John before to resolve a boiler issue and found him to be prompt, knowledgeable and quick in returning my phone call. And this occasion was no exception. I think he’s both clever and modest, and when it comes to sorting boilers out, I wouldn’t want to have to ask anyone else. I think he should be the fourth emergency service.

John Creasey came over within a day of me phoning him. As he was not able to come right away when I phoned him, he was happy to talk me through the issue and helped me get the heating started by moving the controls to manual. That kept us with heating and hot water until he came to change the part today. He was polite, knew what he needed to do and got the part replaced speedily. He came recommended by a local neighbourhood website. Would happily call him again if needed - though I hope I don't have to! Price was reasonable and he let me know that it was possible I could claim the money back from The HomeCare Policy that I have with a well known company who were not able to offer me an appointment until 11/2/2021 ! Thank you John !

I called John when my heating failed and British Gas, with whom I have a Home Care contract, said that they would not be able to come out to me for almost 2 weeks. John came later that day and identified what he thought to be the problem; he returned the following day and fitted a spare used part to test his theory. He left me with a working boiler and said that he would check in a few days to see if it had solved the problem (the boiler had been constantly shutting down). He texted me a few days later and I confirmed that there had been no further problem, so he ordered a new part to replace the used one and came to fit it as soon as he received it. I have cancelled my contract will British Gas and will be using John for future servicing and breakdowns. He was efficient, polite and friendly at all times.

John was able to come to our property and quote for the installation of a new boiler at relatively short notice. He gave us very good advice on the models and warranty extending accessories available and promptly sent us a detailed written quote. On acceptance we were delighted John could fit us in before Christmas, he is friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. He is discreet and a hard worker, leaving our property tidy at the end of every day. The new boiler has worked perfectly from day 1 and we are very pleased with the entire process and the high standard the work was completed to. We will use John' services again and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Our boiler had gone wrong in the middle of the coldest few days of winter so far. Latish in the evening I texted John, who I have employed before and found to be an excellent worker, and he phoned me back immediately. He then talked me through how to diagnose and temporarily fix the problem so that we had some heat. (No question of a charge for that). Despite being very busy, he then agreed (without me asking) to fit in a visit the next day. He arrived promptly and was his usual friendly, chatty and yet totally professional self. He very quickly diagnosed all of the faults (there were 3) and carried out the repairs. He also managed to fit in the annual service as this was due and it was better for both of us that he didn't have to return. John's knowledge of gas boilers is second to none, he is friendly, reliable and charges fair rates. I can thoroughly recommend him to anyone needing a gas engineer.

John installed a combi boiler for us last year and has just been back to service it, which reminded me to add a review. On both occasions he has been so helpful and friendly. His work is top quality, and his advice always based on what will work best and cost the least (this is a man who offers advice freely on a local social media group to save people calling out tradespeople unnecessarily for common boiler issues). His knowledge is extensive and rooted in safety. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Also, our dog Basil thinks he’s great, and you can’t get a better recommendation than that!
