John Creasey

John has now done three large pieces of work for me, over a period of three years. Installation of a new gas fire, removal of old pipework from another gas fire and most recently installation of a Vaillant boiler with computer remote controls. Normally I would seek other quotes for this work, but after the first experience I decided that Johns estimates were fair, his work exemplary and his character and demeanour delightful and totally trustworthy. Difficulties of the job do not seem to faze him and he put in several extra hours to make a certain area more cosmetically acceptable. His attention to safety features and procedures were exemplary, and I have absolutely no doubt that any problems I may experience with the computer controls will be supported by John immediately. He is a rare species in the world of tradesmen. Oh that there were more like him.

Removal of boiler & hot water storage cylinder completed satisfactorily. New boiler supplied with no problems. Hot water storage cylinder eventually installed satisfactorily after two faulty hot water storage cylinders being supplied and installed. This caused frustration and delay but Mr Creasey did an excellent job in getting everything satisfactorily concluded. He kept us fully informed & updated of the position & the work was completed in accordance with the quotation suppled.

John has serviced my boiler on 2 occasions and has also offered professional advice about another heating issue. He is reliable and honest as well as clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

My boiler was not firing up, I searched my local neighbourhood website "Nextdoor", looking for a trustworthy local gas/heating engineer. Luckily I found John Creasey who I contacted. John replaced a 20 year old Potterton boiler with a new Vaillant Combi IQ boiler, moved the location from the kitchen cupboard to the utility room and replaced all the very old radiators with new more efficient ones. I can highly recommend John as he is trustworthy, reliable, hardworking and a likeable person to deal with. He sets himself very high standards as is evident from his work for us, and would never cut corners which gave us a high level of confidence in him as customers. From start to finish he was more than happy to answer any questions and explain in detail what he has or is going to do. All in all, a very happy customer. Thanks John.

John originally came round to see about replacing a boiler that I had been told was 'rusting through', he reassured that it was probably good for 4-5 yrs more but advised us that we could increase warmth in house, also reducing gas consumption by replacing radiators which we did and notice benefits immediately

John identified the problem with our heating system immediately. He clearly explained the issue and suggested a number of options. In brief we needed a new thermostat. On John’s recommendation we went with the Lyric T6R from Honeywell. He installed the system and was able to explain many of the benefits, showing his great product knowledge. We are incredibly happy with his work, and the Lyric unit. We will be asking him to return to move and replace radiators in our house. In summary John is a very friendly, reliable and knowledgeable tradesman.

John installed a new boiler for me and did a fantastic job. He was highly recommended to us and we found him to be a friendly, honest, knowledgeable and an excellent engineer. Completely trustworthy and reasonably priced service every time. I can't fault John's work and have used his services for a number of years. Always up front about his availability, always a considered and professional approach, always a reasonable price. I wish there were more engineers like John around that took so much pride in their work.

The term Heating Engineer is banded about these days but a true heating engineer like John who cares about what he does and who can solve your problems is often hard to find. He was recommended to us by a number of local people whose advice we sought when our service company and a large national company both failed to solve our heating problems. Friendly, caring and thorough our problem became John's. Our heating packed up in the summer and a new pump appeared at first to solve the problem but when it packed up again in the winter a power flush and visits by several engineers later we were none the wiser and considerably out of pocket. John quickly diagnosed a blockage losing sleep one night when the site of the blockage proved elusive. Thanks to his persistence and customer care we are now enjoying an effective heating system over the coldest nights of the year. If only we had known about and called in John earlier we might have saved ourselves a lot of wasted expense.

John recently completed the installation of a new boiler for me. His experience and knowledge were obvious from the outset. John has been fixing our boilers and gas for a few years now. He is a very honest tradesman who does a spot on job every time.
