Our central heating system suffered from cold radiators, noisy pipework etc. British Gas quoted a very high price for cleaning it out. Did research and found John Creasey on the" Which" website. He gave us a much better price and explained exactly what was involved, with a detailed quote. He carried out the work with great care and expertise, was tidy and always punctual. The system is now functioning well and I have no hesitation in recommending him

I rang early afternoon and he arrived early evening the same day. He was very knowledgeable about the cooker and solved the problem with little fuss. He was friendly and pleasant throughout. The bill was very reasonable. I would recommend him to everyone.

Mr Creasey arrived promptly and started work straight away. He installed the new water heater and took the old one away and was generally very tidy. He explained things clearly, especially how to relight the pilot light and let me try it for myself. He was easy to talk to and I felt I could trust him. I wouldn't hesitate to have him back in the future if the need arose. I would recommend him to other people.

We approached John Creasey after we were advised by British Gas that we needed a new boiler at the cost of over £4000. John examined the boiler. We wanted a local, reliable person, rather than a national firm. He said that there was nothing wrong with the boiler but did advise new radiators and thermostats because the radiators were not functioning properly. This proved to be very good advice as the house is now much warmer and for much less than the cost of changing the boiler, which anyway would not have helped with the heating problem in the rooms. John writes useful and informed articles for Which magazine and we found him both reliable and good value.

My oven (gas) stopped working. I had quote's from others. Some being very high plus I had to take out yearly guarantee, which I didn't want. Then I found John Creasey online. I rang, he was so helpful. He came round, sorted the problem for a very reasonable price. Even gave me advice on few other niggling problems I had, i.e. radiators etc. I'd recommend him. Very trustworthy. No hidden charges. Excellent.

Right after Christmas we experienced a major problem with our central heating. No heating and no hot water in the house. The British gas engineer was absolutely clueless. Thankfully our friends and neighbours introduced us to John who came to our house the next morning despite a bad cold and painful back. Within a few minutes he had identified the issue and he came back the next day to complete the fix. We were back on track in a warm house for new year's eve. Very nice person, extremely knowledge. Very reasonable rate. Fantastic plumber! Ver highly recommended!

John serviced my boiler recently, fixed a faulty part and also replaced a broken latch on my oven whilst he was around. John went out of his way to help, was friendly and courteous, trustworthy, communicated well and charged a fair and reasonable price for the work. I would definitely use John again and recommend him most highly.

John was helpful, prompt and skilled. Our gas fire stopped working and we couldn't find anyone willing to come and look at it. One engineer took a quick glance and told us it was faulty and needed repairing without even bothering to ask what the issue was. John came round fixed the fire,cleaned it all up and charged a very reasonable fee. Thoroughly recommend.

Our five year old boiler had a few problems and kept on stopping regularly. John identified and sorted one of the problems very quickly. He also did annual service and gave us very helpful advice. He was very professional, knowledgeable, reasonable,helpful and trustworthy. He was the best and the most helpful trader I have ever used.

John does excellent work for me. 3 years ago my boiler was rejected by a major provider that had serviced my boiler for years because of a patch of rust. John examined the boiler thoroughly, took photos and showed me that the small patch of rust was, in fact, superficial and on an external fastening and that all other parts were in perfect condition. He took photos of the inside and outside. His work is thorough and careful and he cares about his clients. Quite excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

When my boiler refused to light late one Sunday evening John diagnosed the problem over the phone and with the help of emailed photos, because of this foresight John was able to buy the necessary part in advance and he managed to fit me in to his busy schedule the very next day. My hot water was restored within the hour. Very courteous, absolutely trustworthy and reasonably priced. I have no hesitation in recommending John.

John has been carrying out Landlord's gas safety inspections, boiler servicing and central heating repairs for me for over 10 years. He is always friendly and approachable and I feel I can rely on him to sort out any problems should they occur. He is very knowledgeable and informative and his prices are fair. Recently, he went over and above his call of duty as he carried out a gas safety inspection for me at 6.30am to accommodate my tenant's long working hours. I can highly recommend him.

John has done my heating, gas checks, plumbing, etc for the past 12 years. The reason being he is just fabulous! His knowledge, skills, attitude and attention to detail are outstanding. He even cleans up! John is very reliable, has given me sound advice over the years and he very reasonably priced for the quality of his work. What more could you ask for? I have even left him to install a new heating system while I went on holiday. I can't recommend him enough. And he has a great sense of humour! I would also like to thank his wife, who must never get to see him and must have the patience of a saint!

I have no reservations about recommending John very highly. John installed a new combi boiler and central heating system and was happy to travel to Reigate which is a relatively difficult journey from his home. John provided a wealth of advice and assisted with other minor jobs whilst on site despite these being out of his remit. John spent considerable time and effort in sourcing materials at the best prices and produced an excellent final result working neatly and diligently. I have already recommended John to other potential customers and would not hesitate to use him again.

John installed a new combi boiler and flushed the existing system of radiators and pipes. Prior to the installation and remedial work John spent time with us to determine our needs and then recommended a boiler to suit meet them. The new boiler required a new arrangement of feeder pipes which John undertook with skill and care. John explain what he was doing and why at each stage. I have now cancelled my other expensive annual service and boiler repair contact and asked John to undertake the work. I highly recommend John. I have also recommended him to my neighbour who I know have used his services

Excellent service from John, and good advice given throughout. John was really thorough with his boiler service, very friendly to deal with, and despite staying on site from a good extra hour charged us no more than originally quoted. Will definitely use again.
