Hi there. I am experienced in all gas installations, repairs and servicing.

British Gas apprenticeship trained with 30 years plus experience.

Manufacturers Warranties of up to 10 years are available on my boiler installations (an annual service would be required)

Fully insured.

Each job is treated personally with attention to detail given as needed.

I have no hesitation in recommending John. I only wish I had used him for the new boiler installation in Nov 2023. I had a new wall-mounted Vaillant boiler fitted in Nov 2023 (not by John) and experienced nothing but problems during installation and minor issues thereafter hence I could not be more pleased than to have found John for its first service. I found John very responsive whether by mobile or email and also kept me informed on the day when his prior appointment overran slightly unexpectedly although he still arrived within the pre-agreed 2 hour arrival time window. John is very amiable and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He even voluntarily explained some of the more practical features of the new boiler that would not necessarily be covered in the manual.

John removed an old gas fire. He was easy to communicate with (mobile and email) and responsive. We were lucky that he had a slot available within 24 hours to do the work as we would have had to wait a couple of weeks otherwise. His price was reasonable compared to others who quoted.

We contacted John because we needed our gas boiler to be serviced and for a digital thermostat to be fitted. John was easy to contact and completely up-front with the costs of the work to be undertaken. John carried out the work as agreed to an excellent standard. We have a young family and John's work has really given us reassurance. We would thoroughly recommend John if you need your gas boiler to be serviced or repaired.

John was recommended to us by a family member to replace our very tired old boiler with a new Glowworm and Mi go smart thermostat. The job turned out to be trickier than first anticipated however this proved no issue for him and he fitted the boiler to a very high standard all at a very good price. Along with this he set up our Mi go system, flushed all radiators and fitted new TRV's and registered our boiler guarantee. The house is now warmer than it ever has been since we moved in! Would highly recommend John and we'll certainly be using him again for any heating jobs we have!

I found John through Which Trusted Trader. He came on time, serviced my boiler and did all gas safety checks including my gas cooker at a very reasonable price. He also gave me lots of good professional advice which I appreciated very much. I found him very knowledegable, efficient and polite- the tradesmen you can trust. I am so pleased I found him. John was recommended to me by a friend and he was professional, cheerful and amazing. I couldn't thank him enough and I would thoroughly recommend him to everyone I know. My boiler stopped working and another plumber replaced a part (£600), it still didn't work and then quoted another £250 to try another part. I had decided to change my boiler as even though it's old, it had been reliable up until this instance. I live outside the area that John usually works in, but he came out to me anyway. John worked out the problem with my boiler straight away, he'd already bought a couple of parts that he thought it might be with him and he changed the faulty part there and then for a fraction of what I'd already paid. He also advised that I didn't need a new boiler so I am very grateful that John made a special trip to help me.

John carried out a gas safety check and a boiler service at my property. John was exceptionally polite, extremely helpful and an absolute delight to deal with. He took the time to time to answer all of my questions and nothing was too much for him. As I wasn't able to attend the service itself, John took lots of photographs for me which was really great. Even once the work was done, John provided simply outstanding after care. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
