I decided to use JBE because of their good reviews. I don't love writing bad reviews, but from my own personal experience I wouldn't use them again, and therefore feel like this review is necessary. Long story short, I had a fault somewhere in my house that kept tripping the fuse box. I would say my experience started off really well - they organised to come see me quickly which was great, but then they never found the fault (despite looking for quite a long time), the fix they tried actually made things worse, and I had to pay another electrician to come undo what they did, and find / fix the fault. The other electrician found the fault in less than an hour, and fixed everything in an hour and a half (including a trip to the shops). In addition to the issues with the actual fault finding, JBE also sent out a different electrician to look at the fault to the one they sent out to fix it, which I am sure added to the issues. Both electricians had to leave early (and not because they had to go to a different job, one of them was going off on holiday and had to 'sort out his van' - it was about 9.30 am, he *was* on holiday from the next day, but wasn't travelling anywhere). And finally, when the invoice eventually came to me, it also came with a slightly angry note saying it was overdue, despite the fact I had never been sent it before. A lot of people seem to have had a good experience, so maybe I just got unlucky, but I won't be using them again.
