Kingswood Garage Doors is a friendly family run business which was setup in 1984 and which has a vast amount of experience in supplying and fitting high quality garage doors, roller shutters and security grilles at excellent prices. We work throughout Bristol, Bath and the region, so if you are based locally, make us your first port of call for a new garage door.

Kingswood Doors did an excellent job serving and repairing my garage door, which wasn’t locking securely and was incredibly noisy. I was very happy with the service I received and quality of the work carried out. The engineer did a fantastic job, would definitely recommend to others.

I had a new garage door fitted last year whilst a tenant was in my flat. When I moved in the door was not working. Kingswood doors took a long time to come and found a cable had been cut. They replaced the cable at a cost of £96 (inc VAT). This seemed a bit pricey to me as it didn’t take long. However, everyone was friendly and efficient.

I had my automatic garage door motor replaced. I had a visit and a quote sent in the post. I didn't have to wait too long, the job was done quickly and efficiently by the two employees. There were no hidden cost and a five year warranty. I am very pleased with the job and the men who carried out the work.

Kingswood did not supply the doors concerned but simply fitted those supplied by Arridge. After your mostly good reviews I expected a better standard of work and finished not very satisfied with the final result. I have paid for the work (although my cheque has not yet been presented) and made my view known to the company who have not responded. Arridge in contrast have shown great concern and have told me that Kingswood would carry out the remedial work that is practical. I feel I have lost confidence in this company and have declined the offer as I prefer now to make other arrangements.

Dear Sir I am very sorry you were unhappy with the installation carried out. As you are primarily a customer of Arridge, we are only able to offer any rectification through them. We have offered to return and address any issues but as you have stated you declined our offer and are making other arrangements. I feel that to post a negative review with-out allowing us the chance to resolve the issue is very unfair!
Disgraceful
I called Kingswood Garage Doors to repair my elderly mother’s garage door. They came out the same day and told my mother the door couldn’t be repaired and she would need a new door. She was sent a quote of £3600 for a new door. I called another company for a second opinion and quote, they repaired the door and serviced it for £90. Kingswood Garage Doors tried to take advantage of an elderly lady on her own, disgraceful!

Dear Sir. I find your review very inaccurate, unfair and unjust. We attended (free of charge) and our engineers opinion was that the door was beyond repair as the door (double garage door) in question is obsolete and the pivot is severely worn. I have photo's of this and would be more than willing to forward you these if you contact us with an email address. I find it incredible that (others) repaired the door for £90. We would only carry out a repair that we can guarantee, hence why we quoted (free of charge) for the door specified which YES is an expensive option, but was the door requested. At no point did we 'Try to take advantage of an elderly lady' and you have not incurred any costs...in fact the only one 'out of pocket' if you like is us! Kind Regards Kingswood Doors Ltd
