Kingswood did not supply the doors concerned but simply fitted those supplied by Arridge. After your mostly good reviews I expected a better standard of work and finished not very satisfied with the final result. I have paid for the work (although my cheque has not yet been presented) and made my view known to the company who have not responded. Arridge in contrast have shown great concern and have told me that Kingswood would carry out the remedial work that is practical. I feel I have lost confidence in this company and have declined the offer as I prefer now to make other arrangements.

I had a new garage door fitted last year whilst a tenant was in my flat. When I moved in the door was not working. Kingswood doors took a long time to come and found a cable had been cut. They replaced the cable at a cost of £96 (inc VAT). This seemed a bit pricey to me as it didn’t take long. However, everyone was friendly and efficient.

Kingswood Doors did an excellent job serving and repairing my garage door, which wasn’t locking securely and was incredibly noisy. I was very happy with the service I received and quality of the work carried out. The engineer did a fantastic job, would definitely recommend to others.

We had our very old (about 30 years!) garage door replaced with an electric roller-shutter door by Kingswood Doors Ltd. What a huge difference this has made both to our experience in operating the garage door but also to the look of the front of our house. They dismantled and actually took away the old door, which was great, and installed the roller shutter in about 3 hours. The only slight delay was in getting the door delivered to them from the supplier but this was due to it not being a standard size and was only a couple of weeks. The whole thing took very little time and was done to an excellent standard, and was also very good value. All the staff involved were very helpful and Jamie even popped in when we had a small issue which was entirely our own "operator error" and he had it sorted very quickly. We would definitely recommend them.

The initial visit was made promptly and the quote was as expected. The door arrived as promised within the predicted timescale. The installers were pleasant, polite and efficient. An extra small adjustment to a side door was made without charge. THis firm is to be highly recommended.

The company responded quickly to my request for a site visit to consider options i.e. to repair or replace the old electric door. On deciding that a new door was required, a quote, detailed outline of the work to be carried out and a date for the installation provided promptly. The work was carried out to the agreed schedule and at the cost quoted. The installers carried out all aspects of the job - taking down the old door and putting in replacement quickly and efficiently and ensured that they left no mess. Before leaving they went through the door controls in detail to ensure that we fully understood how it worked.

Great experience from start to finish. Prompt response from initial quote request, Jamie came out to assess and was very knowledgeable and thorough. Order was placed and fitting was completed within 4 weeks. Fitters arrived and door was installed within 2 hours and a very good job and also explained how everything worked. Would recommend.

My Roller-shutter door came ahead of schedule and was fitted promptly and efficiently. The two men fitting it were courteous and helpful and made sure I was totally in control before they departed. Having been let down by one firm, who failed to arrive as promised two consecutive days or keep in touch by phone, I contacted Kingswood; reception polite and business like. They appreciated that as an elderly couple we’d need our garage door mended promptly for security sake. Their engineer arrived exactly at the time specified, the next morning, fixed the old door and it works better than ever. Covid protocols observed and every consideration. An appropriate fee too. Well done. It was a small job but if you can feel a valued customer in those circumstances it’s a clear sign of a jolly good firm.

Immediate response to our enquiry about replacing garage door was prompt and positive. Information about the type of door we wanted was supplied and a site visit arranged quickly and carried out on time. All emails answered immediately and a detailed quote supplied promptly. Budget necessitated a change of plan on the type of door and this change was accommodated without fuss even though it necessitated a second site visit to check measurements for the different type of door. New quote was prompt and once accepted, the order for the door was placed quickly with the supplier. There was a delay in the supplier delivering the door to Kingswood (not Kingswood's fault!) but we were kept informed of progress/likely dates etc. Door fitted on date agreed though fitters were quite late arriving and didn't really explain why. Once here they worked quickly and cheerfully without a break until the job was done. We were shown how to operate the door. Overall, our experience with this company was very good particularly with regard to communications and helpfulness - all our queries were answered fully and quickly. We're not really able to assess the quality of the door itself yet but feel confident it will be OK. And we think the price was very fair too.

The door was as ordered and fitted expertly. It was demonstrated as to opening and closing and the auto-locking mechanism The old door was taken away and the site was clean and tidy. Very very satisfied

From the initial phone call right through to the installation of the garage door the service was fantastic. They kept me informed every step of the way and the fitters Luke and Jack were very tidy, efficient and helpful in explaining how to use the door and the safety features.

One of the cables on garage door snapped. I tried to fix the issue myself but failed miserably and made the problem worse! Kingswood offered to come out the same day to rectify the issue so I didn't have any downtime without access of the garage. The technicians were polite and worked efficiently sorting out the problem in just over an hour. They explained to me what was wrong and how they had gone about fixing it. Will be sure to count on them again if I have any future issues. Thanks!

We had our doors supplied by a third party, whilst we had issues with sizing the fitting was down to Kingswood doors. Despite surveying our stone built property the ‘sealed’ (but not water tight) around the doors with a clear mastic that looked like it had been thumbed in by a three year old and smeared over the stonework. Doors packers have been left on view externally and internally. I have tried contacted Kingswood directly myself on several occasions to firstly get the water tight resolved which it still hasn’t and to get the silicon resolved. I finally got to speak with the owner who laughed at me regarding these issue. We have been left with doors that are not water tight and damage to our newly built stone extension.

Kingswood Doors were very helpful, provided a quick on site estimate and explained the range available. Long lead time to delivery but this is due to muppets voting for Brexit not this company, i believe! Friendly efficient team who fitted the door and good e mail communications. I would definitely go back to them!

Kingswood Doors completed my job today in servicing an automated operation for my garage door, installed by them a few years back, and programming in some new fobs I had requested. Jamie was a key communicator on any questions and always attended to them promptly and professionally. The 2 man crew who carried out the work did it promptly and to the high standard that I have been accustomed to in my dealings with Kingswood Doors.
