Lek-Trix Limited was founded in Bristol in 2007 by Daniel Haynes. During this time Lek-Trix has earned a reputation as a reliable, honest and trustworthy electrical contractor.

After an initial assessment of electrical problems in our flat, Dan has carried out extensive upgrades spaced over several months. Beginning with the replacement and testing of a new main switch consumer unit, he has installed numerous new sockets in several rooms to remove clutter, moved our router to another room, and fitted several low-wattage LED light bulbs. All work has been done following comprehensive quotations. Dan is full of ideas and advice for electrical improvements, and works quietly and efficiently, clearing up any mess before leaving. We can highly recommend Lek-Trix to carry out any type of domestic electrical work.

We needed a number of light switches replacing, additional sockets installed in one room, and a new ceiling bulkhead light fitted. The work was done very efficiently and tidily. Dan discussed some issues relating to one of the additional sockets and helped me make a sensible decision not to make any changes to it, resulting in a reduction in their original quotation. We were very happy with his, work and would certainly use them again.

Dan fitted an outside socket to my property, he explained before he started that he needed to turn off the mains for ten minutes, told me when he had turned the mains back on which was under 10 ten minutes. He showed were the cable was going to come out of the wall so that I was happy with the position of the socket and then did a very neat job.

Finally got an electrician to fix problems in the flat I moved into in April 2020. Dan repositioned thermostats, changed laundry light fitting and switch locations, replaced old receptacles by new ones with USB charging sockets, and installed two remote-controlled variable downlights in place of the originals. The materials provided by me were unsuitable in some cases and Dan was quick to propose, obtain and install improved alternatives. He consulted well on changes to planning, working long hours to complete the work within the day instead of the planned two days. The new installations were neatly done, exposed damage from the original installation was made good and the clean up was faultless. He will be the first electrician I call for any future work.

I contacted Dan to fit a timer on my elderly parents' immersion heater, fit a new electric radiator and sort out the main thermostat - which my parents didn't know how to use. Dan was able to do the work at short notice and did a very good job. He explained how the timer and thermostat worked and programmed in the times for my parents. I would certainly recommend him.
